Its crazy to think that I at the time this concert tool place, I lived not too far from Angel Stadium. My brother and I stayed while my parents went to this concert. My brother and I got curious and went outside and I remember that the concert was loud enough that I could hear the music U2 was playing. Although it was so faint. I just remember hearing everything. Bono's singing and the crowds cheers through the night. My brother went back inside, but I just kept listening. I was 8 years old at the time.
People who dislike or are not interested or wonder what the fuss is about U2 have simply never attended one of their gigs. Sure each to their own and we all have personal preference/taste but it’s kind of in the same space as people who think the Beatles are overrated/no good. Almost certainly haven’t listened to them. I’m going off on one here 😀. Ditto people who don’t rate Deep Purple and don’t know they outsold every act on the planet in 1973 the year they split .... and think the only song of note they recorded was Smoke on the Water. Also think they are a heavy metal band when they are hard rock actually.... Heavy metal appeared in the 80’s ....Purple formed in 1968. As producer Martin Birch said “Deep Purple were the best at what they did” . Their last album went straight to number one in Germany and Austria. How many bands around today will be packing arenas all over the world 52 years after forming.

a great version. Bono's voice sounded off snging amazing Grace but then he recovered, Imaging playing the same song over hundreds of times and making it sound fresh everytime? Larrys drumming is crispy and i alwaysloved that chiming guitar effect of the Edge. Great still great.

Bono was totally sick both of these nights back to back I was lucky enough to attend both nights I'm sure they could have canceled but he still went out there and gave it his all GREATEST BAND EVER!
I miss Larry Mullen Jr so much. I saw U2 at Sphere and it was amazing. Bram did an incredible job, but it was not Larry. I hope I can see the whole band again once more.

Great performance. For me, nothing will ever top the combo of Running to Stand Still and Streets that they played in Sydney on the ZooTV tour in 1993.
