The hymns had / have so much theology. Yes, I listen to some contemporary Christian music however not much comes close to the depth of worship these hymns.

5. וְהוּא֙ מְחֹלָ֣ל מִפְּשָׁעֵ֔נוּ מְדֻכָּ֖א מֵעֲוֹנֹתֵ֑ינוּ מוּסַ֤ר שְׁלוֹמֵ֙נוּ֙ עָלָ֔יו וּבַחֲבֻרָת֖וֹ נִרְפָּא־ לָֽנוּ׃
5. 그가 찔림은 우리의 허물을 인함이요 그가 상함은 우리의 죄악을 인함이라 그가 징계를 받음으로 우리가 평화를 누리고 그가 채찍에 맞음으로 우리가 나음을 입었도다
Matthew 27
29. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
29. καὶ πλέξαντες στέφανον ἐξ ἀκανθῶν ἐπέθηκαν ἐπὶ ⸂τῆς κεφαλῆς⸃ αὐτοῦ καὶ κάλαμον ⸂ἐν τῇ δεξιᾷ⸃ αὐτοῦ, καὶ γονυπετήσαντες ἔμπροσθεν αὐτοῦ ⸀ἐνέπαιξαν αὐτῷ λέγοντες· Χαῖρε, ⸀βασιλεῦ τῶν Ἰουδαίων,
29. 가시 면류관을 엮어 그 머리에 씌우고 갈대를 그 오른손에 들리고 그 앞에서 무릎을 꿇고 희롱하여 가로되 유대인의 왕이여 평안할찌어다 하며 Mark 15
17. And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
17. καὶ ⸀ἐνδιδύσκουσιν αὐτὸν πορφύραν καὶ περιτιθέασιν αὐτῷ πλέξαντες ἀκάνθινον στέφανον·
17. 예수에게 자색 옷을 입히고 가시 면류관을 엮어 씌우고
18. And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
18. καὶ ἤρξαντο ἀσπάζεσθαι αὐτόν· Χαῖρε, ⸀βασιλεῦ τῶν Ἰουδαίων·
18. 예하여 가로되 유대인의 왕이여 평안할찌어다 하고 John 19
2. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
2. καὶ οἱ στρατιῶται πλέξαντες στέφανον ἐξ ἀκανθῶν ἐπέθηκαν αὐτοῦ τῇ κεφαλῇ, καὶ ἱμάτιον πορφυροῦν περιέβαλον αὐτόν,
2. 군병들이 가시로 면류관을 엮어 그의 머리에 씌우고 자색 옷을 입히고
3. And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
3. καὶ ⸂ἤρχοντο πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ⸃ ἔλεγον· Χαῖρε, ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων· καὶ ἐδίδοσαν αὐτῷ ῥαπίσματα.
3. 앞에 와서 가로되 유대인의 왕이여 평안할찌어다 하며 손바닥으로 때리더라 Sacred Sacrifice Shield Shelter Shepherd Solid Soul Savior JESUS 예수 우리 왕이여
1 O sacred Head, now wounded,
with grief and shame weighed down,
now scornfully surrounded
with thorns, thine only crown!
O sacred Head, what glory,
what bliss till now was thine!
Yet, though despised and gory,
I joy to call thee mine.
2 What thou, my Lord, hast suffered
was all for sinners’ gain.
Mine, mine was the transgression,
but thine the deadly pain.

to thank thee, dearest Friend,

These eyes, new faith receiving,
