Some claim these Indian Christians can trace roots to Apostle Thomas.
St.Thomas, one of the 12 disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, set foot on the Indian Subcontinent in the State of Kerala in South India. Sadly, whole preaching the good news, he was murdered by the locals outside the city of Madras, now called Chennai.ount St Thomas is the spot where he lost his life and was so named in his honor!. Yes, Christianity came to India hundreds of years before it made it to the western countries.

What a well blended and coordinated choir. The choir master wonderfully conducts with such ease and uplifting efforts. God's name is certainly magnified.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Salm 19:1
The words are a metrical paraphrase of Ps 19:1-8 by Joseph Addison. They were first published in 1712. They were later set to this tune, which was
taken from Haydn's Die Schöpfung (The Creation).
Where is the church in India. I love to go to this church. Unbelievable brothers and sister. Keep it up, sing on.

Thanks for the feedback. About 14 years ago when the Lord led us to do the ageless hymns this is one focus that we had to do is the way it was sung origianlly with least compromise ( specially in the 250 voice Mass Choir ) yet present it so that the youngsters and future generation will enjoy .Each album ( about 12-14 hymns in each ) are done with prayerful preparation and planning with many months of practice . The members of the Mass Choir are from 10-12 leading choirs . So glad that it is reaching out and blessing millions across the globe at such a time as this. Watch the Channel for other hymns ( virtual singing ) in 2020 as a prayer for the Nation by the Mass Choir and groups . Also the playlist " Sing for India" when we did 2 hymns in 24 Indian languages from across the Nation

What a beautiful performance of an amazing hymn. I had never heard it before and as I’m learning a new hymn every day this one was too complex to wrap my voice around without the help of the perfect performance of this choir.
