From 1993-2010 Gordon made a lot of "nice guy deposits" in the brownie points bank. On this day he made a "bad guy withdrawal". It was bound to happen. Now Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, Tony Stewart they been overdrawn their whole careers with "bad guy withdrawls".
Yea they’re like in credit racing card debt over they’re heads and the racing Gods are gonna be like they owe them a deposit on the good side NOW or else
lol at elliot sadler saying jeff was on his last legs. Its funny because 2010 was Elliots last year in cup before he went down to xfinity and struggled to win there too. Yet Jeff went on to win 11 more races (three and a half times more wins than elliot ever got) So it was elliots last legs
+Sir DaddyLops At the same time, I felt that Jimmie Johnson's aggressive charge was a little uncalled for. Jimmie had won 4 consecutive championships (2 w/ 2 runner-ups if it was the old format) by racing clean, and I think he only had maybe 2 races over that span of 144 races where he hit somebody. Then in 2010, slams into the side of Jeff Gordon, causes him to get in a wreck at Talladega, punts Kurt Busch, nearly kills Elliot Sadler, you just look at what he did in 2010 and realize that this guy is not all that likeable.
So we are going to forget about Tony Stewart always wrecking people, Carl Edwards almost killing Brad K twice in 2010 in both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series at the time. God I hate Jeff Gordon fans who hate Jimmie Johnson. Makes no sense to me.
kurt wrecked himself that race when he cut the 48 off dale sr was ten times worse every race that guy toke someone out of some sort and tony was worse then jimmie and jimmie never wrecks anyone if he does your doing something wrong
Jeff's last two sentences say it all. If you not ticking off someone, you are probably not racing hard enough, particularly at Sonoma but anywhere really.
Frowning upon Truex's comment to let Montoya just pass Gordon. That's about as selfish of a comment as you can make. Montoya was probably gonna try to punt Jeff. Truex should know better than that.
jeff usually isnt this aggressive at all. this was just the race that he snapped i guess. he's really turned it around this season though. 2 wins several top 5's and 10's and a solid run today.
elliot sadler's my boy i know he's not the best but he was having a great run in that race and it was taken away from someone who was frustrated the intire race
i swear if martin truex is this upset your doing something wrong never ever seen him that pissed off ever takes alot for him to be mad someone did something wrong
Who are these fools talking about Jeff Gordon like that? I understand the frustration with the situation that week, but these guys with 2 or 3 wins have no right to disrespect one of the best drivers in the sport like that. Jeff admitted that he ran over some guys, but Sadler and Truex Jr. took that whole situation way too far. I'm not surprised about Busch's comments because he's always a jerk, but at least he has some wins and accomplishments to back it up. Sadler's comments are laughable...
@spookespook I dont think you understood my comment. I'm fine with drivers being mad at each other. But the disrespect Sadler and Truex showed was over the top. The problem is, these guys have nothing to back up what they were saying. You don't disrespect a guy like Jeff Gordon when he has a clean record of success. One bad race, which Jeff admitted, doesn't warrant what those amateurs were saying about a legend.
@TheDusty123456 So we're going to start parking people for stuff like that? Come on man, this is NASCAR, not the ballet. If you had your way, Dale Sr. would have been parked quite a bit!
I'm a big fan of Elliott, but the second part of his interview is not true. At all. This is the only race I've seen Jeff make THAT many incidents. He's accidentally and purposefully wrecked people before.
Not the point at all. Also not surprised you didn't get the point considering how you started your response to me. Totally classless and makes you sound uneducated. Try debating without cursing or telling your opponent to shut up and maybe you'll get some respect.
I don't care who you are... But Jeff Gordon raced like an idiot. Jeff SHOULDN'T of been on Truex's bumper like that... Clint said it best, everyone deserves a spot on the racetrack. Truex was better than Gordon, he was in front of Gordon, Gordon got in a bad place with him, Sadler, Bowyer, Ragan, Vickers, and Kurt Busch. They should have parked him... But he finished 5th? Well he is NASCAR's rainbow warrior.

Acting like elliott didn’t get 2nd in the championship 4 times in xfinity. And while he was in cup he was in shit equipment
I was so proud of jeff he was a doormat for many years and then he finally showed everybody he is no pushover

Jeff brings up a good point: the Chase for the Cup forced more drivers into a position where they had to drive as reckless as Dale Earnhardt.
2:59 - Damn, she's hot!!
I miss this
Frowning upon Truex's comment to let Montoya just pass Gordon. That's about as selfish of a comment as you can make. Montoya was probably gonna try to punt Jeff. Truex should know better than that.
that was back when truex was struglling to find a decent ride now look at him
Sadler: Actually gets touched by Gordon so he spins Bowyer out.
Gordon: Montoya never touches him, he just dive-bombs the 56.
When Gordon does it, hes the worst racer alive. When Earnhardt Sr did it, he was praised. God knew people were being unfair, he made the right choice.
Those first few years when Sr did it wasn't everyone was going crazy at him an calling for him to be banned?
jeff usually isnt this aggressive at all. this was just the race that he snapped i guess. he's really turned it around this season though. 2 wins several top 5's and 10's and a solid run today.
lol I remember that race Jeff was racing like Tony
They all do it.
I'm a super Gordon fan but Sadler got him gooood. Up until 2014 when Gordon kicked everyone's ass. Figuratively and literally
elliott sadler is a loser now and was back then....
elliot sadler's my boy i know he's not the best but he was having a great run in that race and it was taken away from someone who was frustrated the intire race
kriebel17 his luck was worse then anybody. I felt bad for the guy
Jeff was showing that he's not dealing with the shit
Truth right there ^
In this race gordon pissed everyone off
I miss the Speed Channel. Wendy Venturini was HOT!
JEFF GORDAN IS THE IRON MAN CHAMPION BABY WISH NASCAR WAS EXCITING RACEING AS THIS STILL
i swear if martin truex is this upset your doing something wrong never ever seen him that pissed off ever takes alot for him to be mad someone did something wrong

Haha Eliot Sadler. U were always a never was
ok I like truex in all but I would REALLY like to see him in that situation, he would totally run the guy over...
treux would never wreck someone to win a race ever
Was the #24 driven by Cup debutee Ricky Stenhouse Jr.?? 😂😂😂
It was Jeff Gordon you idiot
@camdisco24 I was just saying :-D
i guess 4-time champions cant have bad days??
+Lawrence Johnson Technically, he didn't even have a bad day. He finished 5th.
anytime the 24 doesnt win is a bad day
And where are they now? lol. 24ever

truex is now a cup champion 24 flat out dumped hi plain and simple
The only reason Truex is still in the Cup series is because of Cole Pearn, he literally saved his career.
Agree and disagree 😐
Martin truex Jr. It's Montoya falt
watch the replay the 42 never tocuhed the 24
@TheDusty123456 So we're going to start parking people for stuff like that? Come on man, this is NASCAR, not the ballet. If you had your way, Dale Sr. would have been parked quite a bit!
Jeff Gordon is no where near the driver he used to be.Competition and COT messed his career up
@camdisco24 Jeff Gordon was pretty pissed at Jimmie Johnson last year for wrecking him. So Jeff is no better then Truex or Sadler.
I'm a big fan of Elliott, but the second part of his interview is not true. At all. This is the only race I've seen Jeff make THAT many incidents. He's accidentally and purposefully wrecked people before.

TheDusty123456 fuck you Gordon was way better than that ass hole Martin truex jr.
