Good review, and I appreciate it. My concern with the Aqua 7 is how well the case is designed for cable management on the backside. That is often where the art of PC building happens....and also the area that nobody sees...because it is behind lids and motherboards. It is the area that gives away the real skill level of a PC builder and where the attentions of case makers doesn't always fall.
I just upgraded my case from a prebuilt Hp omen case to the aqua 5 and it’s worth every penny. I have way more room now and my cpu temps dropped dramatically. If You’re on the fence I’d recommend the aqua 5 or higher fs
They look cool. That’s it. Everything else is over engineered and running-to-standstill to work round having two to three glass panels surrounding hot electronics.
So much wrong here with that 7. The 2 fans blowing into the same space at the front bottom negating each other. Then the front side fans blowing against the glass causing additional turbulence up front, instead of straight line pulling in cool air front to rear like most cases, reducing the whole purpose of a fan. For proper usage it should have a curved duct to point the air to the rear, which blocks off part of the bottom fan and blocks the LED. Then it would cause turbulence with all the bottom fans. Of course the LED fanboys rarely think of the technical aspect so long as its pretty. Overheating everything, but pretty. Better off moving those 2 side intake fans to top rear exhaust, make it a somewhat straight flow from bottom to top, 3 in/3 out, watch the temps drop. Them cut the dust cover so it blocks the one top open spot and the dual fan portion to the side grille area.

You mean the Cooler Master Q300L. The AP201 fits both of those with the PSU in the highest position. I have the Gigabyte 4080 Gaming OC, and when I had the AP201, the GPU just fit touching the cables with the TT GF3 PSU.
That huge perforated black block with cables and PSU shining through is so ugly. Why would anyone want that? Either hide things properly or put them in the space under the back cover but this is just weird. Plus the edges of the front and side of that block don't even properly connect when it seems you can't even take those off.
I built my first PC about a month ago and chose to go with the aqua 3. Had I known the aqua 5 existed I most definitely would have went that route.

Aqua 5 is Right in the middle and works great for for my media PC 12400f/RX6750xt build! It also holds a 360 AIO.
Dude you are so right. I have my main build in the Aqua 7 and the bedroom is the Aqua 5...The 5 is better than the 3 imo because it has intake fans

it's a support mount, my 4080s came with one as well
i kinda like the montech king 95 case style. leaning more towards that case.

IMO the fractal pop mini is goated for matx, these fish tank cases are cool but I don’t get the hype

got this case how do I change the fan speed, I set the fan speed in bios but it don't change
Did you connect the PWM cable from the fan hub to a motherboard fan header?

No software, it uses a hardware fan and ARGB hub.

I like the IO on the side or the top. Less likely that my cat snaps off a USB stick versus on the front
