Good stuff. Thanks, as always, Josh. As a diy guy who owns four cars, I have found your videos instrumental in helping me identify the best products and most efficient processes for my needs.
I have been addicted to technicians choice detailer forever! I watch for close outs at wal mart and caught them closing out Jay Leno’s Car Wash for 1.00 a bottle. I bought ten bottles and I am good for a while. Not the best but really good. Works great in my foam cannon.
I had P&S Break Buster, Adam AIO Wheel & Tire, Turtle Wax Hyper Foam, and Meguiars Detailer Non Acid Wheel Cleaner. Out of all of them, Turtle Wax Hyper Foam works the BEST!
Haha, I tried a few different tire shines since I started detailing in November, and then came a time when I was doing a detail and didn't realize I was out of it. So I ran up to Walmart and got that Turtle Wax one. And I've been buying it ever since. $4 and it genuinely works as well or better than the other ones I've used.
It's important to consider which products can be diluted. Lots of people recommend diluting Brake Buster in a foam pump sprayer, any ratio from 1:1 to 1:5 are common choices. Depends how dirty your wheels are. If you wash your car every week or two, you probably only need 1:4 or 1:5 and that will save you a lot of money on the brake buster. Not sure if this is optimal for a professional or mobile detailer though.
Haven’t watched this video fully yet. On the Break buster part which is one of my favorite products to use along side either Maguires or Sonak‘s beast mainly depending on how much they have gone up by price, but I made $650 detailing a Tundra, wash, wax (used my DA for a real nice wax/sealant, leather cleaned and conditioned, and thankfully the only carpet that was dirty was the mats so only had to extract the floor mats and not the entire carpet which was amazing for once. I’ve been looking at that same pressure washer the hut I think I’m leaning towards which is the Ryobi 2000 psi that you have a video on and while looking online I found one that looks about the same yet runs off of two of their batteries and has a safe and toes type deal we’re you don’t need hoes coming out of a garden hose which I thought was kind of cool but I was curious of the pressure so I’ll keep looking to see if you have a review on that one yet, and if you don’t I obviously don’t blame you as you put out amazing Contant daily and then I’m still trying to catch up from my break I took a while back!
Josh. I've enjoyed and learned alot from your videos. I'm starting a detailing business here in N. Ca. and turned my license application in today. Also, I plan to use Pocket Suite for my business. Would you tell me which insurance company you use? And which website did you use to develop your website? I'm in a small town with one local detailer. Thanks, Elgin
Another piece of sound business advice is that when you buy in bulk make sure you are Amazon prime member your delivery is free and usually 2 to 3 day delivery time.
YOU NEED TO TRY SUPERIOR PRODUCTS, if you don’t try them all you have to at least try rage it’s a fantastic wheel cleaner and if you have a business account with orylies it’s about $20 a gallon and you can order all superior products to your location orylies and it takes 1 day
I love your channel! You have saved me much time and money with your recommendations. What would you choose, and how would you use it, to clean the new perforated leather vented seats in my Chevy Bolt EUV? Im afraid I will plug the vent holes. Thanks for your expertise and guidance.
Have you heard of (image wash products)..they have a wash soap called wax replacement polish safe 🧐... Might be a good review to do.. if you get board...i could find a video on it but like the way you break things down
Thanks for another great video. It's there any way you could make a video showing how you clay bar the car using the car washing soap? I would love to learn that process. It seemsl like it would be a big time saver.
Great Video Josh. I'm just a weekend warrior cleaning my own personal vehicles. Never realized how much I was wasting by not buying in bulk. Do you have any experience with Jax Wax products. They have a local retail store. And sell in Bulk
As a home dyi detailer I have a question for you: how many cars do you wash in a given day? I have a small Ford Focus and it takes me about an hour to do a basic wash and detail.
I got an S class and can knock out the entire thing wash and dry windows washed inside and outside and tires dressed and a sealant in about 45 mins. I've found it takes longer if you use a pressure washer
@@JoseRamirez-es8vx yeah man, that's pretty good actually. Not bad. Takes me an hour and half on my little car. Although, my driveway is steep, almost a 45deg angle. Washing the car is a legit stair climb workout.
Curious. Do you wash with hot or cold water? I noted on the UberHose you have at times recommended, it says on it 'not for hot water'. It does say 140F (60C) but that doesn't seem that hot.
@@imjoshv Josh have you had any issues with sc at your dilution because I love super clean been using 5 years, but here lately I have seen alot of people saying that we shouldn't use sc on interiors, or that it damages the plastic and so on just wondering your experience... thank you for all your videos continued success my friend 💯 💪 👊
Don't forget DIY people, you nor I generally have access to de-ionized water for spot free rinsing. That is an expensive equipment portion of properly washing your rig(s).
@@tioswift3676 that would assist, but not take care of the problem. In the summer time, water can dry during the final rinse and definitely before drying off completely. A drying aid will help with lubricity but will not keep the water from evaporating leaving the spots. I also use a no contact drying method (heated air cannon) to dry to minimize scratching and this cannot be done using drying aids unfortunately. Winter time in Az is much easier! 😂
@@DrippinWetDetail Oh yeah, that makes sense. Never been to AZ but I can see how much of a pain that would be with the high and dry heat evaporating quickly. AZ must be brutal to vehicle paint with the relentless sun.
I’ve gone through a whole bottle of it I’m on my second one and I’ve experienced no sling. I apply on a foam applicator and spread. I don’t wipe it down and I try and let the car sit before I drive it but I have had to drive minutes after application and there was no sling.
light or finishing pads. You can play with the pad and polish mixture. Example you can do a finishing pad with compound for more cut or polish with a finishing pad or a polish with a cutting pad or compound with a cutting pad. But only start with light mixture first and build up from there. So start with a finishing pad and polish and then move up on the aggression from there
So wheel cleaner is the most expensive item at $2.50 per car. Anyone know of any good products to get this price lower that still work well on wheels, without paying for a 5 gallon bulk?
@@HH-le1vi look up what Detailing soap are and read the chemicals. Almost identical for anything that can remove heavy grease.
