It appears RUclips is finally giving this video some attention. Hey! I would just like to say that I'm astonished with how accurate and good this video is! Well done. Unfortunately, my video "The Entire Important Videos Playlist" was finally taken down for good recently. RUclips gave me a strike and demonitized my entire channel for 30 days saying that the video was "Violating the policy on violence in the videos." Which is complete and utter bullshit. I've had many of these "claims" taken down before and the video reinstated. But, this one is for good. I've checked across RUclips and all traces of the original video of mine uploaded by me or reuploaded by other people are taken down. I'm going to make an update on my channel soon explaining things into further detail. Anyways, good video! Just giving ya an update.

I miss old youtube. Quality content was sparse and endless sea of AMVs. I can't even remember last time I seen one of those. But the site had personality. It really felt, you could upload a video and have your 15mins of fame. But then again, I used to rarely visit youtube back in the day. Only when someone would link me a video. So in a way, I don't miss old youtube. Like current youtube, I just wish youtube would remember the "YOU" in youtube. They wouldn't have shit without us and our shitty amv!
I've noticed that actual caravans often pass through that playlist. People will watch it together and comment on each video, a kind of ongoing conversation.
It's funny to think that a documentary has been created to cover a playlist of silly videos on RUclips. The world is changing. Soon, there will be documentaries that cover all of the internet documentaries.

I think your comparison to a (or The) Odyssey is really interesting. It really made a lot of sense when you mentioned how videos are constantly remove added and tweaked just like the story of The Odyssey itself.
I'm not 100% sure but I think the YEEEE meme can be traced back to Italian RUclips pooper Nocoldiz. I say this because I remember him using that sound sample way before 2010 in a lot of his videos, and a lot of italian poopers did the same thing following him, then I guess it spreaded world wide from there somehow
@@Pseudiom To be honest I found out just now that YEEE is a thing outside Italy, Nocoldiz is a pretty popular RUclips channel for mainstream audience and he used that a lot back in the days, so pretty much everybody knows about YEEE here
