Today I learned to endure as I wait...because,Lord you know it's hard w/out you! Thanks Kim!
I use your videos very morning after I’ve read the chapter on my own, then I journal my prayers. I know that you have now moved onto James, but PLEASE do more of these....These help me so much! Thank you so much for this because they are keeping me engaged while helping me to become more disciplined in my time with him. I appreciate you sis!
Wow! That was so timely. I thought God answered my prayers after waiting 7 years. Then it all came to a halt. So I told God today that I will wait for Him to make the next move. I said let His will be my will. Now I watch your video and not only get confirmation on the waiting but also why the waiting is necessary and sometimes painful through David's journey. God bless you my dear sister. I just love your teachings and your book ' Cling'. You are an awesome teacher of God's Word.
Oh, Debbie, what a blessing! I love when God brings that kind of confirmation. Waiting can truly be hard, but when you can see God in it, it makes all the difference. He is so good and so faithful! And thank you so much for your sweet encouragement. xoxo
"God does a whole lot in the waiting." Amen - He's ALWAYS at work! I've been hearing this message to wait...wait......wait from many sides lately, so I think God is trying to tell me something; giving me encouragement and comfort when I'm getting tired of enduring! :) Waiting seems kind of easy at first, but when it starts turning into months, years, longer........
I love when you said "When things take a long time, it doesn't mean we're on the wrong path, it means we need to endure." So encouraging. I forget sometimes that a year (or four or ten) is a long time to me, but a blink of an eye for God. My heart found some joy in the waiting this morning.
THIS--> "Waiting seems kind of easy at first, but when it starts turning into months, years, longer...." Whew! Those loooong seasons of waiting. I'm grateful to God, though, because I've grown so much closer to Him during such seasons. You sort of look up and say, wow, the thing I was waiting for actually pales in comparison to this deepened relationship with God. And that is soooo sweet! So thankful your heart found joy in the waiting this morning. xoxo
endure while we wait...that is the season I'm in and it feels like it is dragging on forever.
thank you for the reminder of how faithful God is.
Such an encouraging reminder to endure and wait patiently on the Lord 💜 Looking forward to next week's lesson!
So thankful to be studying with you, sis. Endure and wait aren't popular words, but so thankful the Lord is at work in both!
These names & family trees wore me out thank you for breaking this down 💜
I just asked GOD to give me something encouraging to watch and I see this video in my timeline. HE knows I love these videos. #whenGODislistening

Oh, so thankful this lifted you. Saying a prayer for you!
Thank you for your explanation of this book in the Bible. The Holy Spirit lead me to study Samuel 1 and 2. Some of it was hard for me to understand. Your video helped me understand it better. I feel blessed to have found your video. I am actually going through a very long road in my career and this helps me to learn to be patient and wait on the Lord and to learn lessons as I go. You are a great teacher, as I hope to be one day. 🙏🏻
Thanks for pronouncing the names I have trouble with that ;) and giving the family line. This shows you that The Lord is on David's side even if he's not there his soldiers win the battle. God will bless you when you abide (Cling) to him. Great lesson Kim I'm enjoying 2 Samuel God Bless XOXO
I know, so interesting that David the warrior wasn't there! Yes, God truly on his side. SO thankful blessings come with clinging!
Amen I bless God for the gift of teaching in you. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.

So thankful, Lynette! About to upload the next one! :)
Oh that was good!! Waiting on the Lord...my my my!! Cling David Cling!!!!
Love that....Cling David Cling! Amen!
Absolutely loved it! I thought verses 1-2 illustrated what it looks like to trust God. David asked the Lord shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah. The Lord said yes go up and then he tells David to go to Hebron, and we see how the Lord is so faithful and prepares the men hearts to anoint David as king over the tribe of Judah.
Throughout the story we see God is faithful and it isn't an easy walk in the park for David because there is lots of bloodshed. In our lives we must be faithful and trust God even when the road looks dim.
Thank you for this! ❤️🙌🏾
Amen, Nicole! It truly was an illustration of trusting God. And interestingly, "trust" has a very similar meaning to "cling". Thankful for your insights and so glad to be studying with you!
What a blessing of the Way. Oh YAH is so good. The washing of the WORD is real and the do His will is a delight.
Amen!

Wait - Cling - Wait - Cling then trust and do it all again everyday ALL DAY
Yes, yes, yes! All day, every day. And there's so much fruit in that!
(JCGIRL0001 here! Your unofficial mentee) And Ooooooo weeeee!!! This was a word for me. God's purposes will always come to pass, but it isn't always easy. And in the waiting He is building up courage! How true this is.
This morning in church I realized that I was stuck in my Bible Studies video mission! (You see I have my channel, but not one study! :0 ) I've shot a few, but I'm not sure if I'm going in the right direction. Then this morning, in my heart, I felt the Lord telling me just go for it! If it's good, great, if it's not great! If some people watch, great, if no one watches, great!
As long as I am doing what God called me to do, then I'm blameless. Even if it's not what He called me to do, but I think it is, He'll correct me as long as I CLING!!!
Thank you for this timely Word!
You are true blessing!!!
"....as long as I CLING!" That is so so true. When your heart is to glorify God and you're clinging to God, you can't worry about the rest. He will definitely direct you, re-direct you, correct you.....all of that.....because He knows your heart is to do His will, and He *wants* you to do His will. Just keep following, do what He leads you to do, and leave the rest to Him. Blessings on this wonderful journey God has you on!
Enduring joyfully following The PEACE of GOD Amen🍃🌸🍃 yes being strong is in the Lord Amen Paris’s the Lord Amen🍃🌸🍃wow yes standing firm in rocky places amen🍃🌸🍃
Kim, I have a serious question about the history regarding Israel and Judah prior to Solomon. Can you please give some clarity on this. Where they coexisting as one but divided under different figures representing the higher authority on the basis of geographical difference? Why weren't they seen as one holistic nation? Can you please explain?
thank you
