- I've always felt that the G.I. Joe Comic (A Real American Hero) storyline told the absolute best stories of the franchise. Since the movies can't get it right, I've decided to redo the comics with dialogue, sfx and music.
This blockbuster first issue was released in 1982 and introduced an entirely new generation to G.I. Joe! Dr. Burkhart is kidnapped by the ruthless terrorist organization know simply as: Cobra. Who will be able to rescue her before she reveals classified information about a weapon of mass destruction? There's only one group of soldiers with the bravery and expertise needed to pull off such a mission.....G.I. Joe!!!

Now this is a comic book now this is what kids need to be reading about
Totally agree! Thanks for watching!
Love the voice work! Cobra Commander isn't as high pitched as Lata's or even Dobson's but he still captures the essence.
Thanks, glad you enjoy it!
OUTSTANDING! THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY REAL GI JOE MEDIA ENTERTAINMENT OF ALL TIME!
Wow! Thanks so much.
These are fantastic, brother. Thank you for the time, effort, and passion you are pouring into these.
Thank you! I love seeing them come to life!
Man, that opening theme gives me chills every time I hear it!
Nice! That’s cool!
Another brilliant audio issue 👏, I've waited years to have audio version of the comics
Me too! I’m enjoying creating them and it’s great to hear that others enjoy watching them. Thanks so much!
Good stuff here. You're paying justice to Larry Hama's work!
Thank you so very much! I hope to make Mr. Hama proud!
So thankful! I will donate when I can! ❤😊
This was really good. A totally different perspective on a comic I've read a million times. I never really focused on how this was a trap to eliminate the G.I. Joe team.
Me too. I like to think that the sfx and dialogue bring out what was in the writer’s mind.
Outstanding!!! can't wait for the rest of the series. Larry Hama would be proud.
Thanks so much!
5:25 And there's Shooter!😅
AMAZING! Love it Denbigh. You have great talent. Thank you for letting me be a part of it.
Thanks so much, my friend! It’s a joy to create these! Thanks for being involved!
Great episode!!! I look forward to watching more in the future.
Thanks so much! More in the works as we speak!
Hey Sean, you've won the giveaway contest for the Tales of G.I. Joe Issue #1 copy! Congrats! Are you a member of any of the G.I. Joe FB groups? Trying to see how to best contact you and get your info as opposed to a public forum like this.
This awesome now I got something to listen to on my commute to work and I have the comics
There you go! Anything to make that drive more enjoyable. Thanks for tuning in!
Pretty cool project! Needs some better sound mixing to give it more effective dramatic layers. Hopefully all the elements are saved and this can be done in the future.
This is true greatness!!!....thank you so much
Thanks so much!
Awesome! Can’t wait for the next issue!
Thanks very much!
BEAUTIFULLY DONE!!!
Thanks so very much!
Awesome! Love the Wipe Out!
Good catch! I thought that’d be fun to add. Thanks for being a part of it, Dennis!
Earned a subscriber today. Just discovered your videos during a GI Joe search. Can’t wait to go back to very beginning. I have many of these comics still from when I was in school.
Thanks so much!
I really hope you give all 150 original issues this Amazing treatment!!
Ha! I don’t know how feasible that is, but it’s a lofty goal. I’ll do my best. Yo Joe!
@@dshay7gamingandcomics I'd love to see that too! Or, at least through #118 plus 144, 152, and 155 (a must!)
Love this! It's exactly what I was looking for to help me go through them all again. Great job and hope you get them all done. Thanks for putting these together.
Thanks so much! I want to do as many as I can, they just take a long time. Labor of love!
@@dshay7gamingandcomics I have my own channel that I started and making character reviews. YES! So much time. Well, you have my (and my sons) support. 👍
Damn this was awesome...amazing work! Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words!
This was great! Loved it
Thank you so much!
This was dope. My only complaint is you didn't do the _Hot Potato_ bonus story. I'm looking forward to future installments.
Ha! Good catch! Don’t worry, I have it planned for a future release. I wanted it to be a separate story, as this video was already nearly 30 minutes long.
@@dshay7gamingandcomics Okay. Will you be doing the bios too?
@@corneilusmcgillicuddy Like from the Yearbooks? Hadn’t really thought about that.
@@dshay7gamingandcomics 😂🤣😂. No. The bios from #1. Like when Clutch, Flash, and Glandslam describe their equipment.
keep going , love this , just awesome to chill to
Thank you!
Awesome work brother. Thank you very much.

Hey boys
I never got into the comics and you’ve been the gateway in 🙌
Wondering if I could be cheeky and put in a request 🙃
Issue “showdown”
Herb Trimpes art is on point
And the story is really good
Glad you’ve enjoyed it, thank you! I’d like to try some of the Special Missions Issues at some point, so we’ll see if we can’t get to Showdown.
Very cool!
Thanks so much!
Love this please keep doing more
@@thesnapperkeeper Working on it….thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!
Why dose Clutch sound like Rex Raptor from yu gi oh?
That’s funny, hadn’t thought of that! Thanks for watching!
Awesome!
Thanks for watching!

Thank you so very much!
Great job!
Thanks so much!
Love it!
Thanks so very much!
Awesome
You’re awesome! Thanks for watching!
Thx
This is cool
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Why do they have Clutch sound like an old sea captain?
Loved it. When will you release the rest of the series?
Thanks for watching! I'm trying to crank them out as fast as I can....they take on average about 50 to 60 hours per issue, plus I have to wait on all my characters to send me back their lines. I have people from all over the US (and beyond) participating, so I'm somewhat at the mercy of my volunteer voice actors.
That’s amazing
Yo effing Joe!!!
Heck yeah!
YOJOE, where it ALL started!
Yo Joe! Thanks for watching!
Hawk has blonde hair 😮
And they wonder why us Joe comic fans hold these as canon over the toons 😂
@@citadelli Exactly! The best storylines ever were in the comics.
6:18 Is that Dan Campbell, Head Coach of the Detroit Lions?
😂 Not quite.
I don't know. Do you think that's the best voice acting for Snake-eyes?
🤔
where is 3-20?
Excuse me but where g.i joe issue 3 4 5
Working on them, just have a little patience.
I’d love to see this made into a movie. Stick to the comic.
Totally agree!
And a race swap on Rock n Roll. Bullshit.
What are you even talking about?
