How would you recommend getting your first gigs as a location sound recordist? LinkedIn?
Depending on where you are, look on Mandy's "Low/No Pay Opportunities" page or Craigslist. Be very careful about scams on CList, but Mandy's low budget option has gotten me so much (low paid) work its nuts, be it as a mixer or grip or whatever. Once you move up a bit, look into StaffMeUp. But if you're just starting out, Mandy is (to me) the best starting point. Craigslist can get you jobs, just be very careful and use your head. Mandy's low paid jobs are an incredible way to meet crews, build your credits, and to put gear and techniques to the test.

in your area often times people share gigs when they are busy there is lots of entry level gigs that dont pay much and most establish sound people wont do anymore so thats a great start to get your rep and skills
Hi! What do you think of Ambient Recording Lockit/MasterLockit/NanoLockit? How good they are compared to tentacle sync and others? Do you have experience with them? Advice will be great!

I havent used them sadly but ambient is solid, I like tentacle cause they were the first small footprint one and they were affordable at the time super solid timecode and camera team loves them
What kind of sharkfin do you recommend for digital wireless systems? I have AT digital wireless stuff recently. And looking for something to extend my range a bit.
I am using lectro alp650 any wideband fin will work in my opinion,
