It makes sense, since the AtoD only is in the Tx. That way, the signal can stay dig all the way to the recorder.

I think it is only a couple of years or so until the Zaxcom patent expires?? Am sure the day that happens we'll see a firmware update for the A20-Mini to unlock its full potential in the USA.
