Big respect to the classy Michael Woods on another fine Vuelta victory. That final climb decimated the field today, and Primoz showed us who's the boss of this years Vuelta..
It's the best "Last Kilometer" in the history of Eurosport. Very grateful. If Roglič doesn't fall, it will be another Vuelta for the Slovenian. Carapaz is not the best cyclist but what a big heart. Movistar's strategy was...? Second time Felix Gall is in the climb with the Australian and then leaves him alone. Are these team orders or does Ben prefer to race/lose like that?
Good question, maybe they try to keep both riders in the gc race. So if Ben cracks, they have a second option. And Gall seems stronger in the mountains.
I think gall is actually stronger than o`connor i highly doubt the peleton would have let him go the way they did o`conner And there is a reason gall drives away from the leader nearly every day

As a massive fan of Yates since he won the white jersey in the TDF, hes so inconsistent over 3 weeks to the point it’s almost infuriating. Whew! Given that OConnor already gave up 35secs to Roglic on the opening 12km time trial, I'd have to think on the closing 24km that he could also lose ~45secs at the minimum. Maybe up to a minute. He has a razor-thin margin over the next 7 days to keep that margin above striking distance, especially looking at Cuitu Negru and Lagos de Covadonga but I don't think he is even still in Red after Covadonga, maybe not even after this Sunday.
35 x 2 (double distance) = 70 secs + greater fatigue by the faltering O'Connor by Stage 21 so easily more than that. I think 45 sec very conservative estimate but by then I don't think the gap will be relevant to red jersey winner.
