When this AMAZING CD came out, my kids were about 5 and 3, put it on in the morning, full blast, for the whole house to wake up to. We all have VERY different music tastes, kids are now 25 and 23, we can STILL put this CD on, everyone in the house sings along to every song, still loving it after all of these years!
My mom was the same way, I'm here listening to these albums on youtube trying to capture the way it felt to listen as a little kid. I'm now 23 blasting it for my sweet babies.

Anything in this music video is just their interpretation of the song, they didn't write it the song has been around and re done several times over nearly 50 years.
Even though nothing beats the original, I love that they didn't try to just "cover" the original. Rather, they made it their own. That's far more interesting and enjoyable.
I don't like too many covers. Bands either ruin the original song, or copy it note for note and who needs that? This though is a really good cover of a truly classic song. It's true to the original while they make it uniquely theirs as well. Not that easy to pull off.
During the first 45 seconds, I was really hating this cover. But by the two minute mark, I did a total 180. I understand why people don't like it, but I think it's fantastic.
i saw them a few months back. and Art played this song by himslef with an acustic guitar for his new born daughter. they came to my town cus he found his wife here aparently. first time i ever heard of them. im very glad i did.
I'm pretty sure that he's basically been friend-zoned, therefore making him like a brother to her, while he's dreaming of being more than that, an impossible dream.
