Just had this convo today with a coworker. I'm not sure if it's youth or what, but damn I miss this era in music. People talk a lot about the 70s, 80s, ect. But 97 through 05 ish was a vibe of its own.
Some songs can only be written by the young, before they get jaded by years of fighting over who's going to clear up the kids bedroom floors, or wash the dishes, or take the bin out...... And you've got to love that this song captures that time of life beautifully. And then there is the piano melody. Inspired and inspiring.
