    the perfect twist out, whether it's a 2-strand or 3-strand twist out, takes time and effort to achieve AMAZING results. So glad to see a well-done twist out. I get my inspiration from videos like this and can finally say I've mastered the perfect twist out for my own 4-c, low porosity, thick hair. I make my own DIY products as well to achieve the perfect balance between nourishment and optimum hold for my hair. I've documented my own version of the perfect twist-out on my RUclips channel and am glad to see others achieve beautiful results as well!

  • @justrereshop

    This is the most perfect twist out I've seen! My hair is just a little bit shorter but I am definitely going to try this! Any tips for stretching while in this style? I have quite a bit of shrinkage but I LOVE this!!!
    Also I love love love the color, I wish I had the guts to add some color but my hair is always so dry so I'm too afraid to try. Anyway thanks for an awesome tutorial! Your hair is gorgeous!

    Being Puerto Rican and black my hair has big loose waves/curls and this worked perfectly for me to get more defined curly/wavy hair. I have done twist outs before but after doing it this way i got way more compliments on my hair than before. I used coconut oil while taking the rope braids out and it made my hair look sooo gorgeous. Thank you for this video. My hair was stunning today at work.

    • @ljcherry22
      @ljcherry22 8 лет назад

      J. Paris thanks for commenting about Her hair texture relating to Mines. I myself have had heat and bleach damage for the same obvious reasons. but even without the damage (after growing the damages out). My texture is still very brassy, curly and dry and has been since I was child. Any suggestions on how to control it since you know the reason as to why our texture is this way???

    • @j.j.5835
      @j.j.5835 8 лет назад

      Lisa Cherry There's no "controlling" damaged hair. The only solution is cutting/trimming it off.

    Don't deep condition after conditioning or condition twice. Shampoo opens up your pores while conditioner closes those pores back up again, so using a deep conditioner after is a waste of product and time.

    • @ChandlerKnowsBest
      @ChandlerKnowsBest 9 лет назад +26

      Actually it's not necessarily a waste of product or time seeing how it benefited my hair more than just conditioning. There's a difference between deep conditioning, and just using some conditioner in the shower for two seconds.

    • @SamirahGilly
      @SamirahGilly  8 лет назад +6

      It's from the bleach, when you lift the color is loosens your texture. But I don't recommend texturizers at all. I don't even recommend bleaching unless you can care for it. I am just learning to. Wish I had earlier.

      Katastrophic from the beginning
      To be honest, I think you're the only one implying this and the girl who commented said nothing about looks she was talking about her voice. People can sound alike? Stop making everything about race. She didn't say anything racist. I am black and what she said wasn't even offensive. No one said "All black people look and sound alike" except you, leave her alone. Don't bring up her race when she didn't say not one thing about race.

    Very pretty!! This will be a great style for me to wear since my hair has heat damage (less elastic) from wearing it straightened the last 1-2 years.
    I miss my big hair, but this is a great solution to that :) yay!!

    If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been natural and are the products you listed in the description bar the only ones you use. Does the thickening shea moisture product make your hair thicker? How long have you been natural>

    I know this is an older video, but I LOVE it! It turned out really cute! I noticed that I have heat damage as well, like you mentioned in this video. What did you do to correct it? How long did it take?? Thank you!
