Yup switched to doing my twists on dry/stretched hair because I was waiting 1 day from wet. If I’m really lazy I’ll just do two flat twists in a halo style and leave that in for a day or two
I learned that my hair does so much better with the dry twist. It does not tangle and it looks better and better as the days go by. I do retwist at night with a little cream. I bought the RevAir dryer to dry, straighten and lengthen prior to twisting.
How smart you are. Never knew that this was even possible. Great results. You know I have to try this. No one wants to sit under a hot dryer for hours on end.
I’ve been doing this once a week for 2weeks so far ! But I do 4 braids instead of twists . And I only use cool setting on my blow dryer plus just the pulling/stretching method so I don’t use combs ! Love your results !!
Thank you!!! I have to wear my hair in a low ponytail for work Monday- Friday and on Friday honestly I’m exhausted and don’t feel like washing detangling deep conditioning and all that until Saturday morning while leaves me without cute hair until Sunday…. Until NOW so thank you I’m about to try this now!
Adorable. I've been completely chemical free for a year, no relaxer in 6 years. I'm struggling with not getting a texturizer. I pretty much have what I need. Have to try it. Maybe this weekend.
Something that'll bless even more....get the 2-1 blow dryer by Revlon. It has the brush attached to it and you're only using one hand to dry. I do mine like this as well. But that brush i put in between my twist where a regular dryer won't get.
Actually you could had 3 STYLES. The lush twists were great...the twistout afterwards was greater...after it was tweaked it was FABULOUS. VERY good tutorial.
I have to try this method! 😍 I have high porosity hair and even if I use my bonnet dryer for an hour the night before, my hair STILL ISNT dry in the morning 🙄
Selena Betts Yes! Since I’ve started this method.. I haven’t gone back. It’s so quick and easy. Plus my hair isn’t frizzy when I take down and separate the twists. Try it out.. it should work for you too.
@@danmeck5978 Porosity refers to hair without product. Products can change your hair making it unpredictable. People keep forgetting that and using the guidelines incorrectly. You don't measure porosity on hair with product or you may get different results each time
Great video, simple and to the point. You and your hair a beautiful! Quick question how long does this style last? And how do you maintain it at night? A hair bonnet, pineapple bun, small twists/braids? Would love to know how you maintain this beautiful look:)
Monifa 360 Yeah I try not to use heat as well. It’s mostly just the warm air that I’m using. If you try this method just continue to move around the blow dryer so it’s not focused on one section. The air will dry it, instead of the heat. If that makes sense. It doesn’t have to be a perfect blow out, you know..
Chat Pointer yes but it’s suppose to get that definition. The important part is that the roots are stretched more than they would be if your hair is saturated. You’re just damping it a little so it would not shrink as much.
Precious world GRWM hmmm, I’m not familiar with what stores you all have but I’m quite positive you can get these products on EBay or Amazon for cheap.

Wicked volume in the fro state. You have so much patience! Respect due! Such a beautiful twist out style too!

Thank you SO MUCH! This is going to help me when doing my son's twist outs on the same day I want him to have them! 🙏🏾💜🙏🏾
Your hair is so thick and beautiful, you can easily wear the twists and still look pretty
Susan Wachira Awwwww! Thank you so much ❤️
Girl I love your whole life for making this so easy! I’m new to natural hair and looking for ways to save hours of my life! Because of you, I can 😊❤️
That makes me so happy! 😭 I’m so glad this helped!
I never thought to stretch/dry my hair first before doing my twist, I always do them soaking wet
Kiara Tompkins saaame! Then I would wonder why my hair is frizzy and shrunken.
Tamera Johnson yes! It was easier for me when I was transitioning, but I had that issue when I went completely natural 🤦🏽♀️ I love the video girl❤️
Kiara Tompkins thank you!!
You don't have to stretch dry your hair its just a choice.
I only tension blowdry now. A miracle for this 4c. Trust you'll love it and it stays stretched for a while. Only once a month for me.

Bianca Regine Oh yeah I bet your results are bomb! I’ve tried the 4 braids before. It gives it that blow out look doesn’t it?
Tamera Johnson yeah super stretch look basically lol but I still like a little curl/texture

Very Helpful video !!! Thanks so much
Getting ready to try this I will let you know how it turns out Thanks for Sharing

If you have high porosity it should dry fast. Low porosity hair takes forever to dry.
Selena Betts me too....it was awful, but NO MORE 😁😁😁
Low Porosity drys very slowly.

Great question! I would like to know this too!
I don't put direct heat on my hair except when I get a trim 3 or 4x a year. But the final results look amazing! Something to look into in the future 💕

Loved the results. How can I find your blow dryer?
Hallelujah!! I'm WAYYYYYYYY too impatient to do a traditional twist out and I hate how much shrinkage I have. This is perfect for me.
Jessica L Yes ma’am same!! I’m glad this helped!
it looks so cute!
Great job...great video💜
can't wait to try this. Looks great
How long does it last?
How do you care for it at night and daily?
G. O. I’ll have to make a video on that, stay tuned 😉
How many days does the twist style last? What do you do to the hair at night?
I can’t seem to get my hair to lay down.. I always end up looking like Cynthia from rugrats 😩
Dude I didn’t even know this was possible and it’s cute!!
Taye Nic Yes girl, and thank you!
This was a great tutorial. I'm going to try this for my next twistout
Love the video and especially the outcome. Where did you get that hair dryer tho 👀 🤔
Love this style!!! How long does it last you?
Jay Bruce 5-7 days.
@@TameraJ how do you wrap it at night? Chunky twists or pineapple?
I had to take a homework break to watch this 🤣 I love how professional your videos are Tam !! Keep it up 👏🏾👏🏾
Love, Char thank you so much my love!! Love your support!
Your hair is beautiful! I think I will try this. ❤
great video!
I love this method! Your hair is beautiful❤
does it just have to be curling cream or can it be oil or leave in conditioner?
Miraclev Msp i would say you can try the leave in. I don’t think the oil will give you that definition!
I would to try that but that dry my hair out so bad because of the ingredients do you get dry hair from it ?
❤️❤️❤️Thanks for sharing❤️❤️❤️ I’m about to do this now💕
My hair is almost flourishing in length, I'd love to try your method in one of my natural hair journey tutorials 😊
I wanna try this so bad, your hair is so pretty btw 😍
Cool thanks for sharing girl!🙌🏽😍 I may have to try this!! 🤔
Loving the hair. New subbie. 😊
Wish me luck !! I always struggle with twist outs on wet hair and just do wash and gos but I’m giving it another try

Loveee!!!
I love it ❤️❤️
I love it.
Wow ur hair is amazing lol. Love the ending 😂
hey love, how many twists do you typically put in your entire head?
It depends on how thick your hair is. Personally I do about 4-6 per section because my hair is really thick, so about 20-24 twists.
Where can I get a spray bottle like this?
I got mine from Sally's Beauty, you could also order them off Amazon. It's called a mist spray bottle.
Your hair is beautiful
Yes this video was very helpful thanks for sharing 🤭
This is so pretty✨✨
I just left a thumbs up hun

The cream doesn’t revert your hair a little?

Hey girl, how many twist in total do you think you did? ☺️
D. Reed maybe 12 on each side..depends on how thick or small you want them.
Will this method work on 4c hair without shrinkage throughout the day?
Keimani Grant It depends on your climate. If it’s really humid then it may shrink a little. If it’s not super humid then you should be fine!
Tamera J. Thanks for the advice but if I add gel will it help?
Keimani Grant You can try it. I don’t think it will hurt. If you don’t like the results, just try it again without.
@@TameraJ Thank you:)
Loves💜 the video‼️ I’m gonna try this on my channel! Just SUBSCRIBED‼️
Love love!!!
Lovely😍
Your results are incredible 😍
love your quality. what camera do you use?
nicolelise Sony A6300
How about if I diffuse my hair while they’re in the twists?
ivy Yes you could do that. I just know sometimes you would think it’s dry until you actually untwist them and feel that it still may be a little damp.
Hi. What hair Type do you have?
Verrry cute!!
Im going to have to try this 🖤
God bless everyone! I love you all🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
where can I buy Cantu products am in Europe please
Precious world GRWM hmmm, I’m not familiar with what stores you all have but I’m quite positive you can get these products on EBay or Amazon for cheap.

Yoo how did she lay down her baby hairs without it coming apart?
I always have to wrap my baby hairs for them to stay down :(

Edalia Gordon Cantu Curling Cream
