      They do their best with every patients they have.
      Sure, for different reason and results, but you don't go studying psychology carelessly, because contrary to some belief, being a psychiatrist doesn't pay well.

    Hard to believe that when he said "I'm going to kill everyone in this room" not even one person thought "NOPE, I'm outta here" and tried a door to leave. Maybe if they had realized the doors were locked a bit sooner, they'd have had more time to break them down to escape.

      i dont think those were locked either, the twins came in and the doors opened inward, which Im sure is against basic firecode as the doors to such a high volume area should always open outwards, and no one pulled on the doors only banged on them

      Maybe it's just me, but when he said that I like to think I would have said something such as "I think my car is double-parked, I should probably move it" then I would have attempted to leave get my car out of being "double-parked" and gotten away as fast as I could. Maybe I wouldn't have succeeded, but if I going to die anyway, I won't be worse off for trying. Just my opinion of course.

Joker is definitely a serial killer. Deranged mass murderer yes, but definitely also a serial killer.

    Y'know people often think of Joker as just the deranged homicidal lunatic, but often overlook the fact that Joker is actually a freaking chemical warfare genius. The skill with chemicals he has would earn him some serious cash with the govt., & many others if he weren't the deranged criminal he is.

      No, his issue is his own ego and obliviousness. I work with troubled kids because they deserve a fighting chance but that means you do right by them by acknowledging reality and who they are. That's the only way they're going to have a fighting chance.

    2:12 You know, in a way, what Wolper (the psychologist) was saying, from the Joker's POV, would be saying "Batman's the only one contributing to their relationship, Joker isn't standing on his own feet, and he wouldn't be who he is without Batman pulling the weight".
    Considering the Joker _wants_ to be seen as the monster he is, without remorse, and sees Batman and he as sort of twisted equals to each other, no wonder he was so pissed.
    Wolper was essentially telling the Joker, and the public, that he had no individual value as who he was, or with Batman.

    In the book David Endocrine and Frank were supposed to be David Letterman and Paul Shaffer, but in this version they made the host Conan instead, although Frank still seems like Paul Shaffer.

    All due respect to mark Hamill and I respect his decision to retire his joker because of conroys death if joker was to ever return to video games I want Micheala Emerson as the his voice.     In one storyline Joker does manage to kill Bats and immediately snaps out of it and becomes a normal man. You see, as much as Batman might not like it but the Joker exists because the Bat does. Dismissing the Bat as just a mentally unstable man was directly attacking the entire existence of the Joker and his legacy. The clown prince of crime can't let that pass unpunished
