My dad had been deaf since he was four. He had a Cochlear Implant at 75 but he got his chance to hear before he died.
The one thing he probably wanted all his life without ever saying that's the one thing that would do it for him😌
I am so happy for him 💕
awww that’s awesome. A beautiful memory to hold for a lifetime 💐❤️👍
Who pay it?
@@domoetker3967 He did but with insurance.
I'm tired of doing this myself. I know what's going to happen when I watch these videos, and yet here I am again. I never learn.
Yeah..., I'm crying. Just leave me alone.
Carlton Brown i felt that
Your profile pic just makes this 10x funnier 😂😂
So we have found the weakest link our human male DNA. Reaction to people being able to hear sounds.
Literally sobbing my eyes out right now!!!
FEELS GOOD TO CRY FOR ALL THE GOOD REASONS 👍

Your "comment level": Master!
Here I am, a grown young man again with tears in my eyes lol
Dude, same.
Same XD
I'm there with you brother.
It's okay crying is natural it just means you care
So u are not psycopaths guys!! u have empathy
Of all of them the mother at the beginning did me....her emotion is so raw to see her baby so happy it can hear
Yep!! And the baby with her little hand up at her ear. She was too freakin cute!!
One at the end got me when he proposed to her.
Girl: Hears sound and starts crying
Also girl: *Starts laughing because of the sound her crying makes*
That's what I see when I watch these. It seems like many human emotions erupting at once.
I can’t possibly imagine what it must be like to hear for the first time, tears in my eyes every time when I see the happiness in people’s faces!
I have come to hate loud stereos so much I have often wished I were deaf.... perhaps that is wrong.
@@greendeane1 It's because most music is trash.. Loud music when it is good is wonderful
Imagine hearing music for the 1st time
Speech therapy is next because they never heard their own voice
@@greendeane1 I feel that way about rap.
Imagine hearing music for the first time?
No joke, I would probably kill myself if I was ever unable to hear music again. That's not a life I want to live. I'm so incredibly happy that people get to experience music now.
thats what people forget to film.
@@tanned_mamba1498 except the ones that do film it, in this video
@@Mephiston ditto
@Shay Zah I pity you for your dull and boring life that lacks the enrichment that is the right music. You obviously get yelled at every day for being a screw up, and that's why you envy silence. You are the truly weak one, troll.
The little big things, like hearing yourself breathe or snort laughing 😭😭😭. It’s so nice to see the pure joy on their faces.
that is actually the tipping point of happiness .. the little girl with that stuffed animal on her lap ... was all laughing and feeling happy while it started ... but the moment she heard herself ... that was like ... "enlightenment" and made her cry with happiness
The little things. This showed me that my life is not that bad.
Awh when the doctor asked “did you hear that kiss?” Wow did I get a knot in my throat. This is great I hope this becomes easily accessible for everyone that needs it ❤
Came to comment just this, it's like she immediately embraced it and didn't even realise.
I went into the wrong profession. To witness the joy when someone hears for the first time is truly a Godsend. Is it too late to become an Audiologist? *sigh*
Same thoughts here. I'm asking that myself and would definitely look at it after this.
I am an audiologist in France, if ur interest to take care to ppl
U should run into it ;)
Sorry I didn't hear 🙉 what was your question again ? 😂🤠❤️Lol I'm 70 percents deaf in both ears ,I wearing 2 hearing aids can hear but not being able to hear texting is hard .
@Glenn Beck I was typing fast it slipped I have big fingers .
Good bye.
Lesson : Instead of fretting over what you dont have, cherish the things you already have!
That’s cute that the mom is crying because her baby can here
I don't know any of them but I'm crying during the whole video
Cute? It would be WEIRD if she didn't get emotional... :')
Yeah. I lost it.
Hear
No it wouldn’t be weird?! The dad didn’t cry or looked emotional
I’m such a softy. I cried immediately ❤️❤️❤️
You are such a gentle/soft person, God bless you!!!
No, you are just normal.
I have a hearing impairment in both ears to hear simple sounds is the most amazing thing. Never take this for granted
Les, so happy for you. Thanks for sharing this.
"can you hear that kiss?"
wow, the reaction is the wholesome
I can't imagine that..
Loved when the one doctor left to give them a moment to share.
Never thought the sound of a kiss can be so heart rending
Really
"I'm hearin' music"
Let the bodies hit the FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!
Or something like Pink Guy. Face just goes sour and kindly asks the doc to remove the implant.
Greatest proposal of ALL time.
I’ll never forget when I got mine. My voice and traffic were the hardest things to get used to. And with the new technology I’m now able to watch these videos and stream the audio straight to my device. Couldn’t imagine not having it anymore!
Oh my goodness, how wonderful. We are just getting the process started for my twelve year old grand daughter to get her cochlear implant.
the very best of luck .... may your grand daughter ... have a happy and contended fulfilling future
@@protonx80 Thank you! They leave to Albuquerque tomorrow for initial visit.
Let her ear some music...
How did it all go for your grand daughter?
@@theDVoT Thanks for asking. She is thirteen now and lost the rest of her hearing after going through puberty which was what we had been told would happen. My daughter just got our New Mexico insurance to approve the surgery in Denver. ( out of network) But now it is on go and they are setting up a date! We are so excited. Could you check back in ab six weeks? 👍
I just want to say thank you to all the doctors and staff members , It is so beautiful to see all the people hear for the first time it brings tears too my eyes when I see them React, it's a miracle so awesome and I'm so happy for them all . God bless Amen
Very well said 👍🏾
Bro, i rarely cry, maybe like once a year. This clip just made cry so much
you are not alone ... just see how many views .. most cried ... i think

This must be so strange for them. Somebody literally flips a switch on their hearing. It's fascinating and beautiful!
First time cochlear implant in celebration of life 🎉😂😊
I have watched a couple of these videos now, I think this is what I needed to see for me to move forward with the cochlear implant, I been struggling with making making sure I make the right decision. After seeing these videos I am encouraged. I am so happy for those of you that have gone through the process and are able to hear now. I have been deaf all my life, I have suffered greatly over the years from bullying and people mocking me for my deafness some people are darn right rude. I end up apologizing to them for my deafness. I hope to make an appointment soon , I am very excited after seeing these videos. I can’t imagine what it’s like to hear.
I just want to be able to hear people talking and nature. So much a person misses out on in life when you are deaf.
God bless you Dennis. I will say a prayer for you right now that everything goes amazing for you! Lord, please send this man peace and clear his mind to do all the things necessary to make this implant all you would want for him. Please guide the hands of the surgeons. Please be with Dennis and hold his hand. Thank you for making this possible, thank you for ALL you do for us. I ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
i hope it works out for you. give us an update
God bless you brother ❤
Best wishes! Let us know how it goes, if you think of it! :)
Dennis, we’re rooting for you!!
OMG how wonderful that last guy proposed to her so it would be one of the 1st things she would hear! How sweet was that!?!
Omg I loved it!!! I’m hearing impaired and that’s such a fantasy of mines!
Ruin it for everyone that hasn’t seen it yet why don’t you! Sheesh

Spoiler.
The one at the end proposing to her as one of the first things she hears, that was special.
I've flooded my living room.
“I’m hearing music!” I love that! can’t imagine going through life without it! How wonderful they don’t have to go another day...
These videos really help when I have a stuffy nose, clears everything right up. Works every time!

God Bless all of the people involved with this life changing technology. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
What does gawd need with a cogliere implant?
Damnit they get me everytime the older I get the more I can’t hold my emotions back 😭

These drs, nurses, science itself is just amazing...im really appreciative of the little things....play your music loud
The deaf and deaf mute are so beautiful. Their longing are so strong. Thanks for sharing.
So many people take so much for granted, including myself. Its beautiful to see people getting this amazing gift and appreciating its value.
This has GOT to be the best job EVER
When that lady heard her kiss 🥺🥺
My heart !!
They now have the voices of their loved ones and MUSIC!
What a great video. And a bonus to see everyone comments on here as positive as the video. 😇
I kissed my hearing in both ears after I was born my mother told me I cried when I heard the birds for the first time with hearing aid. Now I have two implants and thriving on my own in class since middle school
We take our senses for granted..THIS IS AWESOME..These people will hear music their loved ones voices ,birds, the ocean..Everything for the first time ,that's great.
Seeing that kind of joy is unequalled to anything else. That’s the good crying.
"I love you baby"
"I can hear your voice"

videos like these just makes my heart happy. Thanks for posting them and I hope everyone, even you, has a lovely day. :)
I can’t stop crying I absolutely love what you guys are doing to help everyone may God Bless you all 🙏🏽♥️
Amen and Amen.
Got this old cowboy again. man the tears are streaming
Beatiful Emotional and exhausting,
I can't stop smiling
Have to admit.
Brought tears to my eyes too.
I feel so happy for them.
I’m literally watching these videos crying. We sometimes, unintentionally, take our hearing for granted but it moves you emotionally to see AND hear their reactions. So heart wrenching. 🥲
Beautiful. I’m crying
There IS beauty and joy in our world!
Life takes and takes from us. It's good for the soul to see good things being given back. I'm crying my eyes out
That girl in the red stripy top smiled so hard my cheeks hurt!
Es muy emotivo, ver éstas escenas. Alabado las personas que se preocupan, por un bienestar del otro.
Things we don't realize we take for granted makes us emotional just think about that next time u feel something not fair watch this
Thought I wasn't going to cry at the last one as well, then he just had to go and propose didn't he. Who's cutting onions around here....?
OK who was not in tears on that last one!! WOW !! amazing stuff!
Things we all take for granted.
Man when you regret the little things like being able to hear. Thank you lord.
This is real happiness good on them all so very happy for them that last girl wowee real love
Oh my god. The proposal was too much. I have been crying for the last hour watching these.
Guys, don't be afraid to cry, we need it just as any person, and this shit is one of the many reasons why we SHOULD cry. We aren't crying cause we're sad, we are crying because we are happy, this notion that men do not cry, or should not, needs to end. I bawl quite often, probably not as much as I need to, this is heartwarming stuff, god bless these people and I wish them a long life.
God bless you sir. I agree wholeheartedly!
Science/doctors bless these people...
Sitting here 2 months pregnant balling my eyes out . Enjoying every moment
Beautiful moments. People need to see stuff like this everyday
my question is...when I've pretty much given up on humanity...how can anyone downvote this?
+John Mugavero+
The one's who down voted this video, are the one's to give up on. There's the answer to your question.
they downvoted ..maybe because ... it made them cry too ... some cant cope with such strong emotions
It's just religious people who are jealous that their gawd couldn't give back these people's hearing. But, scientists could...
@@JRandaIINope! More like trolls
I’m SO HAPPY for all of these people and it makes me ashamed of myself for taking for granted the gift of my hearing and sight.
Never take hearing and speaking for granted!
Nice job using the moment to get past the friendsone😅jkjk. Glad she seems happy.
Why do I do this to myself?
we need hope my friend...this gives it to us :)
3:54 kid comes up hes so proud
So great Thank you Australia for that invention
I’ve never met these people but to share there happiness is beautiful I’m crying with all of them
Well if that wasn’t the most heart warming thing I ever saw.
imagine.....
it is not ... all this what we called reality is full of it .. we cease to look and feel and hear the magic
3:55 I love how the lil bro comes in for the support. Good lil bro right there.
How miraculous, how wonderful, thank you...... bawlin eyes out just wow....... now time for all kinds of music eh?
Thank you for sharing these miraculous moments.
How wonderful.
I was born profoundly deaf bilaterally and I was the first ever infant as young as 13 months in the nation to receive a Cochlear Implant 1 month after ADA lowered the age from 18 months to 12 months. I still cuddle with my Kaci the Koala to this day.
In the United States, the overall cost of getting cochlear implants was about $100,000 as of 2017. 100k to get Dr's to help someone listen.
That is horrendous!! Most middle class families can't afford 100k.
america, home of over encumbering debt
My eyes are so sore from crying
Esta arena que se me queda en el ojo, no estoy llorando
They always cry as their first response to hearing. Doesnt matter how old the person is they just start crying with happiness. So heartwarming
Man… we take things like hearing for granted
you were not joking bout the ending 😥😥😥😥💖💖💖💖💖💖
watch the actual video this is a flipped out of focus version of the actual one. That one is better.
If I was able to speak to my 6 years old me, I'll tell to myself "study hard but not for money, not fame. Study hard to help people who cant speak, see and hear. If you make it I promise you, you're gonna be the happiest and richest person in the world".
My daughter is 3 years old now, I hope she listen to me in time.
@3:50 dad goes to comfort daughter, son then comes to comfort dad. I'm crying in the club right now
Maaaan, these videos, and videos of colorblind people seeing color for the first time, have a 36 year old man crying his eyes out. Sheesh 😢
Once again in tears. What an honour to see, so glad for all of these people. ❤
❤️ These videos are so beautiful.
This should be a try not to cry video
These videos are phenomenal! Please continue these wonderful videos.
One thumb up for the video content. But, 1 thumb down for each of 2 videos with special effects that darkens the video & blocks out the details & nuances that make the reactions priceless.
I hope someday this device will be free for anyone and everyone.
,🥺🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️ I m.literally crying yr
“Ew, I just heard myself sniffle” lol that was so cute. I actually find it interesting that many of them can understand the other people right away without looking at their lips. I know people being legally blind doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t see anything. Is it the same for deaf people? It seems like a few if not most of them have been deaf since birth so how do they have a perception of what the words mean when they’re receiving signals audibly?
I had the same question. I may be wrong, but I don't think these people are completely deaf, or how would they know? I think they are barely able to hear, and this maybe brings them to a whole new level obviously. Otherwise there's no way they could connect audio words to lip movements and sign language without looking if they've truly never heard before, I'd imagine.
GOD BLESS YOU 😇😇😇
The girl in the end said 'it's just noise' because if you never heard before you have no idea what words sound like, and therefore you're uncapable of recognising the different frequencies as phonemes. Fully deaf people who get to hear for the first time late in life will continue to rely on lip-reading rather than hearing, as they can't, at first, connect the sounds with the mouthing; some of them later learn to recognise phonemes, but that requires some training.
