I just made this and as soon as I finished LICKING my plate, I decided to write a review! When I followed Kristina's recipe to a T, it was bland. I guess you'll love her version if you've been raw for a while. If you're new to this way of eating or like me, just checking it out, it lacked something. Here's what I did, I added: - 1/2 clove of garlic - 1/4 tsp salt - fresh ground pepper - 1/8 tsp Paprika Its Gold Jerry, Gold! At first I decided to lightly cook my zoodles. It was good but when I tried the zoodles uncooked, again it was Gold Jerry, GOLD! Thanks for the inspiration Kristina!
I have been raw for almost 6 years, and I would add the black pepper, NO salt, possibly more garlic( 2-3 cloves ) than she did, and some home dried cayenne. Make it work for you.
To anybody who makes this, add salt because without it, it doesn't taste like anything. Also, the avocado is a little too rich so i'd only do one half of an avacoado. It was prety good and I'm not even a vegan.
Might be a good idea for those who aren't used to low/no salt. There is so much great sodium in plant food that after a while your taste changes but, at first, you might need to sprinkle on some when served. Plant based docs recommend not cooking with it and giving yourself that salt taste at the table to satisfy that familiar taste. See drmcdougall.com for one.
Using sun-dried tomatoes really helps!!! It's a more complex savory flavor and has a ton of lycopene that helps prevent cancer. Or nutritional yeast! Get them sweet cheesy B vitamins (get the ones that is fortified with B12)!
I just made this, had to tweek the recipe just a bit, no arugula so I used cilantro, no basil so I used spinach. Added lemon juice and salt with garlic and avocado and 1 stalk of kale! Talk about bomb! I love this. I also used a cheese shredder ands laid the zucchini down long ways ands still achieved Zoodles! Thanks so much! I really love this!
You are inspiring me to eat healthy. My Dad just passed away from diabetes and arteriosclerosis. It was a slow and painful death and totally unavoidable. His diet was all meat, dairy, processed foods, packaged cookies, etc. He thought his cholesterol lowering drugs would save him. He never changed his diet!!!!! It was all preventable.
Mmmm this was so delicious, just made for the family and they loved it! We just added sun dried tomatoes, and diced red bell pepper. Perfection 🌿. Thanks Kristina
Kristina is a person with a natural sense of beauty, the way she shows fruit and vegetables in all their beauty and what she can do with them, just makes me want to go fully raw from watching these colourful recipes and the radiance Kristina shines is contagious!
Absolutely delicious and filling!!! I also added cumin, green onions and cayenne pepper to my sauce and mixed cherry tomatoes and green onions with the zoodles. Was quite surprised of the flavors, didn't need salt. Thanks!!!
For those of you that are not fully raw but want to eat low calorie diets I made some modifications if you can't go the fully "raw" way. To take off the raw edge I lightly cooked it my znoodles for only a couple of minutes and added salt and pepper. The basil is great but it was too strong when I did it. To dim it down I added Parmesan cheese and a little bit of vegetable broth according to taste. It dims it down so it isn't so strong and gives it a slightly better texture. I got rid of the pine nuts and used only half a avocado to minimize calories. I could not believe how much it tasted like pesto. But if your having issues with the overpowering basil, chicken broth and Parmesan will be a life saver.
I kept the Basil and added Nutritional yeast, oh ya, and one more clove of Garlic! Oh ya, and a dash of Hemalayan sea salt! that did it for me, Delicious, but I couldnt eat 5 zuchinni's I used 3. Delish!
Eating this now but i didnt have all the ingredients. I used avocado, garlic, baby spinach and a little water to make my dressing. Delish and so quick and easy to prepare :) added some sundried tomatoes finely sliced. YUM!
I feel like you would be better off living in a super warm environment to eat this stuff. In colder climates its harder to force yourself to eat raw cold foods, I think.
I'm a proud italian who indulges in all my culture has to offer. Many times it makes me feel bloated, heavy, and fatigued. You've inspired me to make every sunday, Fully-Raw!! thank you
Deeeelicious!!! I love it! This recipe is perfect the way it is! Another keeper for me!! And this coming from a meat eater who has NEVER eaten her zucchini cold. Thanks again Kristina!
Doesn't have to be cold but, the idea is to not heat over about 118 degrees. It kills lots of nutrients, so I've heard. I like some hot food too so incorporate the raw idea with the Starch Solution plan. I'm pretty healthy.
Thank you Kristina for sharing all of these creative recipes. That was my first problem when trying to go raw vegan, I wasn't creative with the food. I gave up so easily. I'm trying to figure out how to continue and not stop.
I made this with everything but the lemon. I already eat a ton of lemons. It was AWESOME!! Thank you Kristina for being you and for sharing all of this with us.
I am having this dish right now!!!! I cannot believe I love it!!! I rinsed the zoodles with hot water and drained, and added salt and pepper to pesto sauce. Yum Yum Yum for real! Thank you Kristina. :)
Been looking everywhere for a bloody Zuccini for weeks... didnt realise over here it was called a courgette! Doh...but whoop, i can get started making this! 😀
My Pesto sauce and noodles turned out Great!!! mmm soo good😘 thank you hun , what's the best way to store it cause I couldn't eat all of it although I did try but I was actually to full to keep eating it lol
This was awesome! I am trying to leave chicken, turkey, and fish alone. It’s a slow process, but I’m learning. Your really good Kristina! Thank you so much.
Masterofspoon Forkson I made this at home and I tried it without salt and I didn't like it so I added salt. Its much better with it. and yes I know table salt is unhealthy but I don't think the animals care if I have salt or not lol (-:
I made the zoodles with a spiralizer (€30) and the sauce (grilled aubergines/mushrooms/onion, baked tomatoes and fresh herbs) with a foodprocesor (an old one from my mother) :). And I just chopped some extra the mushrooms and belpeppers. It would taste great too if it was fully raw.
I just made this. It's really nice, very fresh and a lot like a green pesto because of the basil. Very nice. I love the zucchini noodles too, go so well with sauces.
Danielle H No, not at all, and my Nieces couldn't even swallow it. But most people in the Raw Food community knows that the taste of her recipes are not that tasty. FullyRaw popularity is not based on how good her recipes taste but more so because she is young/ beautiful, full of energy thus show if eating a raw diet like her others can also have the same high energy, high nutritional quality of life.
I made this tonight. Only substituted parsley and sunflower seeds for arugula and pine nuts and it was absolutely delicious. I threw in some chopped bell pepper for an extra bit of crunch.
I agree.. When I'm passed hungry and at the HANGRY stage, I need something hot. I would give this a try out of sheer curiosity, but I think I would lightly boil the zoodles first to make it a hot dish. But at the end of the day, nothing can replace pasta ;)
your hair looks amazing! Since you are raw vegan has your hair gotten better? I really am loving how positive you are! Dont let anyone get you down- you are absolutely wonderful
Pasta is a huge weakness for me, it's more than a relief to know that I can have a replacement when I need me some s'ghettie. I just need to figure out how to use my homes spiralizer... hrm.
+moni4eva1 She's not wrong. Kristina definitely comes off as trying too hard in some of her videos. It turns people off from the whole thing when someone's presenting something in an over-the-top fashion.
+Selkinor S She is wrong. She's not phony to me at all. She has fun with what she does, is entertaining to watch and makes delicious recipes. At least she's not a boring, cold dead fish like some of these other people.
Love the different sauce cause I need to keep eating organic to heal and I try to have no process or chemicals in or on my body as less as possible and this gives me great new taste and joy of better taste and keep feeling great of the love that real live food gives us mmmm......all around Tks again, bless you Kristina for what you do :-)
I just tried your recipe. It looked really good, but it was bland. Although the smell of the sage and basil was very good, it needed some more flavor. Thanks though. I will not give up on this dish.
You are getting 2 YUM recipes today to enjoy! If you want to try both...even better! :) DAY 8 RECIPE: The FullyRaw Sunburst Juice: www.fullyraw.com/challenge_recipe/the-fullyraw-sunburst-juice/
hahaha...no worries girl. but you made me look, not kidding you...I got frantic for a minute wondering how did I mess up and miss a day? whew, Im alive, back to my noodles.
daniela carrera there's this great option called "fast-forward view" by sliding your finger along the streaming feed at the bottom of the screen. You can easily find and cut to the section that you want to watch (ie. the ingredients). You might want to try it. ;) Kristina! You speak just enough! Great job! ☆
So happy I found this channel! I've been looking into eating a lot healthier. I have been afraid to cut out meat or bread because I tend to get very faint or weak when I'm hungry. Love the idea of this pasta it looks very filling!
It won't be on the raw concept, but yes you can do this with regular noodles. Just boil your noodles in vegetable broth and water. Then follow the recipe. I will try with cool noodles first since the zucchini noodles featured on this video are probably at room temperature. I do not know if the hot temperature from cooked noodles may affect the sauce.
Chopstick etiquette: When setting down your chopsticks, never stick them into your food. If you stick them in the food so the chopsticks stand up, it will represent your tombstone! Death = bad! I know that this is the same in Japanese culture. If you must set them down, set them down on the table or sideways on your bowl.
I just use the nutri bullet. It helps with grinding and making the sauce and juicing. Then for the spiral thing. I just went to Walmart and got one for 14 bucks. It's an hour glass shaped ine.
Not to mention the disgusting baby voice. When I hear creamy, savory, free, gooey, and her larynx is so high it almost comes through her nasal cavity, it feels like a knife going through my head. Too bad, looks like some great recipes, but until she goes to a speech pathologist, I can't watch another video.
It's great information so maybe you can read the subtitles and bypass the sound of someones voice that bothers you so much. I like to turn on the subtitles when someone calls on the phone.
Yeah, I'm sure you can tell everything about me from one Halloween picture...(oh, and since you didn't realize that, maybe I should also help you detect the sarcasm im my comment)
wie wärs wenn du in zukunft einfach nur positive kommentare schreibst oder gar keine wenn dir etwas nicht gefällt? oder konstruktive kritik mit der man auch etwas anfangen kann.
Looks good, and healthy. But shredded zucchini is not pasta. Not even close. Dear vegan people: stop calling stuff "roast" or "pasta" and so on. Make up new words.
You ask why we vegans eat noodles and pasta with chopsticks, the answer is simple. Why not use chopsticks? 😊 it's also easier to twist more noodles around onto the sticks than with a fork when you know how to use them properly. I've seen a Chinese guy twirl his entire bowl onto his chopsticks and eat it all in one go. So the answer is it's easier for some people and more aesthetically pleasing to look at and use than a boring fork haha
no way.. as Italian I believe the fork is the perfect tool for spaghettis.. you just have to know ho to handle it. and most of americans just can't.. sorry but it's true.
+Gianfranco T it doesn't have anything to do with were you live 😂 chopsticks can be easy, forks can be easy... Also word of the wise, make sure you know what something is called before calling it an actually quite racist name 😂
I just made this and as soon as I finished LICKING my plate, I decided to write a review!
When I followed Kristina's recipe to a T, it was bland. I guess you'll love her version if you've been raw for a while. If you're new to this way of eating or like me, just checking it out, it lacked something. Here's what I did, I added:
- 1/2 clove of garlic
- 1/4 tsp salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 1/8 tsp Paprika
Its Gold Jerry, Gold!
At first I decided to lightly cook my zoodles. It was good but when I tried the zoodles uncooked, again it was Gold Jerry, GOLD!
Thanks for the inspiration Kristina!
That’s why I don’t follow recipes to the T. Lol we’re all different. And garlic always makes food taste better 😄😄
I have been raw for almost 6 years, and I would add the black pepper, NO salt, possibly more garlic( 2-3 cloves ) than she did, and some home dried cayenne. Make it work for you.
So add one and a half cloves of garlic? She added one, so I'm guessing that wasn't enough. I love garlic, so I will do two whole cloves, lol!
The Childfree Curly Girl Yup! Or sprinkle in some cayenne pepper to brighten it up and squeeze in some lime.
Yes....when you've been raw for a while, you won't have cravings for other flavor 😁😘
To anybody who makes this, add salt because without it, it doesn't taste like anything. Also, the avocado is a little too rich so i'd only do one half of an avacoado. It was prety good and I'm not even a vegan.
Thanks so much!! I'd give it a try!
Gurl, you'd add salt instead of a whole avocado cause it's so rich? Nonsense.
Might be a good idea for those who aren't used to low/no salt. There is so much great sodium in plant food that after a while your taste changes but, at first, you might need to sprinkle on some when served. I literally can't stop watching all your videos.... I decided to go vegan a month ago... and wow... you are helping me so much!
Eating this now but i didnt have all the ingredients. I used avocado, garlic, baby spinach and a little water to make my dressing. Delish and so quick and easy to prepare :) added some sundried tomatoes finely sliced. YUM!
I made this for dinner tonight, thanks to you! It was delicious and I have some left over to take to work tomorrow! #33daysvegan!
I feel like you would be better off living in a super warm environment to eat this stuff. In colder climates its harder to force yourself to eat raw cold foods, I think.
I agree
True it’s summer now and I’m raw but I’m the winter no no…I think room temperature fruit is good in the winter
Yes and it is much more exoensive 🤪
Ridiculous excuse.
You don't belong to cold climates anyway...
I agree
I'm a proud italian who indulges in all my culture has to offer. Many times it makes me feel bloated, heavy, and fatigued. You've inspired me to make every sunday, Fully-Raw!! thank you

when you are full and your use to it you don't notice.. just like how you are use to whatever you do
Doesn't have to be cold but, the idea is to not heat over about 118 degrees. It kills lots of nutrients, so I've heard. I like some hot food too so incorporate the raw idea with the Starch Solution plan. I'm pretty healthy.

she makes it look so good, just by how she eats it! I want some of hers!
I made something like this last week. I added some mushrooms and bellpeppers. Delicious!
how did you make it?
I made the zoodles with a spiralizer (€30) and the sauce (grilled aubergines/mushrooms/onion, baked tomatoes and fresh herbs) with a foodprocesor (an old one from my mother) :). And I just chopped some extra the mushrooms and belpeppers. It would taste great too if it was fully raw.
I just made this. It's really nice, very fresh and a lot like a green pesto because of the basil. Very nice. I love the zucchini noodles too, go so well with sauces.
you make me wanna run to the grocery store for this stuff every time I watch you. that looks so good!
Watching these videos before bed... Starving haha
I'm about to make the pesto pasta tonight.
grab the sky did u like it?
Danielle H No, not at all, and my Nieces couldn't even swallow it. But most people in the Raw Food community knows that the taste of her recipes are not that tasty. FullyRaw popularity is not based on how good her recipes taste but more so because she is young/ beautiful, full of energy thus show if eating a raw diet like her others can also have the same high energy, high nutritional quality of life.
Look up Tammy Raw. Their are so many other Raw Gurus. Do you have any favorites?
I made this tonight. Only substituted parsley and sunflower seeds for arugula and pine nuts and it was absolutely delicious. I threw in some chopped bell pepper for an extra bit of crunch.
She is sooo dramatic, but I love her recipes.
This girls personality is so captivating I am considering vegan.
Do it, Timothy, it'll be the best decision you make. 😊😊
+ziba you can but if you could be healthy and cause the least amount of harm or suffering, wouldn't you do it? 😊
There was a got milk? ad before this video. RUclips planned for this to happen.
I wanted to thank you for these recipes. I'm doing my first 21-day fast. Your recipes are making making this really easy for me ❤
I clicked hoping the "pasta" wouldn't be zucchini again... it's zucchini again
Aaaaand THAT is why I could never do a raw vegan diet.
scice03 Haha I tried it for a week and couldn't commit. How do they live eating everything cold?? Everything tastes better warmed up :(
I agree.. When I'm passed hungry and at the HANGRY stage, I need something hot. I would give this a try out of sheer curiosity, but I think I would lightly boil the zoodles first to make it a hot dish. But at the end of the day, nothing can replace pasta ;)
lilbunnyfoofoo
Oh joy...
i dont understand i mean im not vegan i eat meat but i thought vegans ate grains and noodles are grain
I tried this recipe and it was delicious!
"zucchini weenie" i literally died. R.I.P
This is the BEST pesto pasta recipe ive ever tried in my life

+MsAldousSnow because shes white
+Pumpkin☕Spicy she's also half Lebanese

lol the Italians did get the idea for noodles and ravioli from the Chinese so...
From what I've heard, pine nuts are very expensive.
AM3R1CAN MUSCLE not just very... EXTREMELY!
AM3R1CAN MUSCLE you could use cashews instead of them.they aren't cheap either, but way cheaper than pine nuts
Ira Gabelić
I figured you can probably use whatever nuts you'd like - thanks! :)
AM3R1CAN MUSCLE if u order pine nuts online in a bag they not as much as whole foods or any other market
AM3R1CAN MUSCLE thrivemarket.com/now-foods-organic-pine-nuts?Now%20Foods&gclid=CjwKEAiAu6DBBRDDr6-e_6698E0SJACvuxnyX-_syBw0go0Wqyq2x0LhRVD6hiw6MIHjbYB8xhpUnxoC8Gfw_wcB
I feel like I need to start a zucchini farm
I tried it out in a vegan restaurant and even if I'm not vegan I just loved it. I'm craving for it ever since then 😘
i just came here to see her reaction when she eat it hahah
I'm making this right now, I'll let you know what I think!
It wasn't very good... it will never be the same as soft, warm pasta 😕

😂 mine wasn't good either....maybe I just don't have the taste for this lol
+Gema Jimenez well maybe the whole mix just needed salt
+Jacqueline Bonner yeah maybe lol I don't think I'll be trying this again though :/
FullyRaw Pasta with Avocado Basil Pesto! DAY 8 of the FullyRaw challenge is creamy delicious! www.fullyraw.com/21-day-challenge-day8/
OMG! Looks super yummy!!I'm going to make it for today's dinner for me and my little sister :)
Looks so good, I wonder how long does it last in the fridge without turning the avocado brown?
Oh god, that looks yum! Wish I had a spiralizer....
Pasta is a huge weakness for me, it's more than a relief to know that I can have a replacement when I need me some s'ghettie. I just need to figure out how to use my homes spiralizer... hrm.
Drool!!!! This is a dreamy dish. Yeah! Thank you.
This is amazing. I just prepared it & I'm eating it right now. SOOOO GOOOOOOD. I'm not even vegan. Can't believe it tastes so good. So good.
Earlier today I was looking for a raw vegan pasta dish!! Weirdd
It's meant to be lol! :)
I know cant wait to try it out !! Looks ymmuy
The universe knows exactly what you need! It's normal to be weird!!
Exaggeration!!.. I understand you want people to try your food.. But don't be phony!
+Lisa Lopez wrong on so many levels lmao!!
+moni4eva1 She's not wrong. Kristina definitely comes off as trying too hard in some of her videos. It turns people off from the whole thing when someone's presenting something in an over-the-top fashion.
+Lisa Lopez It's called showmanship, and it makes it more entertaining, at least for some of us.
+Selkinor S She is wrong. She's not phony to me at all. She has fun with what she does, is entertaining to watch and makes delicious recipes. At least she's not a boring, cold dead fish like some of these other people.
Not raw vegan but it looks delicious!
Love the different sauce cause I need to keep eating organic to heal and I try to have no process or chemicals in or on my body as less as possible and this gives me great new taste and joy of better taste and keep feeling great of the love that real live food gives us mmmm......all around Tks again, bless you Kristina for what you do :-)
Please share more zucchini noodle recipes!!
Sometimes I have problems to eat zucchini pasta with marinara sauce, hope this one works better for me! :-D
I love both recipes! The Sunburst juice is one of my favourite juice recipes from you along with the Orange Dreamsicle juice and popsicles!
Thank you for the wonderful recipe! Question, do you eat your zucchini noodles cold or at room temp?
It looks so good! I really have to get a spiralizer!
That looks so good! Love pesto!
Out of all her videos I think this is my fav bc I just love it idk
wow just reading the title of this video made my stomach growl lol!
Kristina says: Guys doesn't this look insane. I say: I think your insane
I totally messed up and said day 9...it's DAY 8! My apologies!
hahaha...no worries girl. but you made me look, not kidding you...I got frantic for a minute wondering how did I mess up and miss a day? whew, Im alive, back to my noodles.
This is the best yummmy.
Please do not worry about saying day 9. It is okay! You are doing a great job!!
This looks delicious!! Looking forward to trying this!!
AMEN! :)
this pasta dish was to die for omg and the sause was heaven
for raw food it's pretty good, but I'm not really impressed by it. it will never be as soft or as creamy as regular pasta 😕 but at least it's healthy
Try boiling the zucchini and it will become softer it won't be like regular pasta cuz pasta a bunch of carb goodness but it's a healthy substitute
Have you tried the hclf vegan lifestyle instead? You can have real pasta! Just make a low fat sauce with it. Much more satisfying than zucchinis
+Kristen k regular pasta is healthy too :)
You could try adding soaked raw cashews to the pesto for a creamier taste
OMG She loves herself soon much! Those kinda selfies with that kinda food! OMG hahahahahaha xD
I just wanted the recipe...you talk way too much...
I want you to whisper sweet nothings in my ear all day.
daniela carrera there's this great option called "fast-forward view" by sliding your finger along the streaming feed at the bottom of the screen. You can easily find and cut to the section that you want to watch (ie. the ingredients).
You might want to try it. ;)
Kristina! You speak just enough! Great job! ☆
So happy I found this channel! I've been looking into eating a lot healthier. I have been afraid to cut out meat or bread because I tend to get very faint or weak when I'm hungry. Love the idea of this pasta it looks very filling!
Now just add some tomato!👌
I think I will try this but with real noodles
It won't be on the raw concept, but yes you can do this with regular noodles. Just boil your noodles in vegetable broth and water. Then follow the recipe. I will try with cool noodles first since the zucchini noodles featured on this video are probably at room temperature. I do not know if the hot temperature from cooked noodles may affect the sauce.
Maria Bardo Why are you telling him how to (not really) cook noodles? o.O
Maria Bardo I think he knows how to do it...
Bryce Rush same
Maria Bardo bossy...
Chopstick etiquette:
When setting down your chopsticks, never stick them into your food.
If you stick them in the food so the chopsticks stand up, it will represent your tombstone! Death = bad! I know that this is the same in Japanese culture. If you must set them down, set them down on the table or sideways on your bowl.
maybe she wants to represent that
Ikr! Same with Chinese culture
+Kershie Dixon If one is going to represent, do it with respect for the other culture. That's not an unreasonable request.
Zahra Vee but maybe
she wanna
+Kershie Dixon Brilliant answer!!
you're so honest and humble, Kristina. I love you
i eat zoodles but i cook them. im vegaterian and trying to convince my mom to let me be vegan then mabe fully raw
Kawaii Marshmallows is it better cooked? I was wanting to try it cooked
i love your recipes, but lots of them require blenders, processors, etc and i cant afford that
I just use the nutri bullet. It helps with grinding and making the sauce and juicing. Then for the spiral thing. I just went to Walmart and got one for 14 bucks. It's an hour glass shaped ine.
im pretty sure they dont sell them in the UK :( all good quality blenders are over £100
Thanks not true, nutri bullet is on Amazon and so are cheap blenders.
i believe avacado pesto is called ...uhmm..... guacamole
heading to the grocery store to pickup all the ingredients for dinner! yummy!
I feel like I'm watching a bad commercial...
It is kinda like a bad commerical..

Thanks for taking me seriously ;) Apart from the misleading names, i've had absolutely amazing vegan and vegetarian meals.
she's a damn character
Everytime I prepare this dish I family comes running back for more. It is a great Hit in my family
Italian food with chopsticks...
Sadaf Rizvi oh well it’s just a bit of fun
We really liked the idea of this recipe and we tried it but its disgusting - a challenge not to throw up 😁
Yeeeeah after one small plate of these "noodles" I almost threw up 😁
This comment made my day 😂😂😂
lots of secondhand embarrassment...
I just started liking avocados and can't get enough of them
jeez ! pleeeease not so much talking ! I just want the recipe!
You don't have to be so rude there's something called a skip button
+Obsessed with Sabrina Carpenter there's no skip button .-.
+Princess Anna you just drag the dot
you have a point, but its not a button.
***** yeah i just didnt know what to call it
That'an italian-genoese dish (except the avocado).. why do you eat it with chinese sticks??
they're not Chinese sticks they're chopsticks.
+LycieLouOnline 'We vegans'
You don't have to be vegan to eat pasta with chopsticks.
no way.. as Italian I believe the fork is the perfect tool for spaghettis.. you just have to know ho to handle it.
and most of americans just can't.. sorry but it's true.
+Gianfranco T it doesn't have anything to do with were you live 😂 chopsticks can be easy, forks can be easy... Also word of the wise, make sure you know what something is called before calling it an actually quite racist name 😂
zucchini weenie
I was searching the comments for this lol
OMW will make this next weekend for sure!!! I love anything with avo and basil in - be that smoothies, juices, infused water or salads!!!
