This is a very delicious sauce. I added a stalk of celery with the pepper and onion to it. Most cajun/creole recipes use onion, bell peppers and celery (the cajun trinity). I also left out the southwest seasoning. Kudos Mesha. It rocks.
Thank you, thank you! I made exactly per instructions save for addition of a white wine reduction before adding broth and cream. For seafood I used extra large gulf shrimp (I live just outside Galveston so cheap and plentiful) and tilapia filets. This rich and creamy sauce has almost more the nature of a bisque. Thus, I intend to make as such with perhaps lump crab? I am certain it will be amazing.
This was so good!! I've made it twice now with chicken and last time I modified it by using less of the cajun and also adding a bunch of yummy curry spices. It was glorious. Bless you for sharing this recipe!!
That's some tasty sauce. Thank's Mesha for the recipe. I'll be using this in the future with Shrimp, Crawfish and king crab, or lobster. And not forgetting the pasta as well to sop up all that yummy bits of flavor.
Your sauce looks great, yep you needed some pasta or at least some french bread. Using this as a base for cajun creamy chicken n sausage. Thanks for sharing.
I prepared this the day before and added cream then added Pollock, prawn and mussels all frozen. It was so tasty. Thank you I will add the recipe to my favourites x
Just made this. It was amazing. I agree with you that it will probably be even better with shrimp and some pasta to absorb that flavor. Thank you for this recipe!
I made this yesterday 1-21-22 I used Tilapia Filet & Shrimp. Like the majority of the comments it's the bomb. Yeah it's 💰💰💰 💰 money in the bank. The family Loved it as well as myself. Thank You Ma'am.
I hardly comment on any recipe I try, but this was so good. Rave reviews from hubby and our 2 year old couldn't get enough of it and she's a picky eater lol. Thank you!! 😊
Thank you friend!!!! This post may be old, but honey, it's new to me and I LOVE IT AND SO DOES MY FAMILY! 😊😂❤ I fried grouper and fried shrimp. Also, I fried some bacon and added some of that bacon grease instead of regular oil to sauté my vegetables in the pan. Once done, I topped the fried grouper and shrimp with this sauce and had cheese grits on the side.....Honey, my family tore it down! Husband took some for lunch and had the whole office wanting a plate. 😂 Definitely nice with fried fish. 🤤🤤🤤🤤
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏾🍾 I tried this recipe yesterday and it was Delicious, Good!!! I used Flounder and shrimp that I cut in small pieces. I didn’t have peppers but it came out perfect. This is a great light meal and yes I had pasta lol. I will be making this again 🖤
Groan! This looks awesome! Thanks for sharing your beautiful and colorful and flavorful recipe. I can't wait to make it. I'm going to try it with salmon and shrimp together. And make some big fat egg noodles on the side to sop up the sauce.
Yes Ma'am!!! I got another idea for your sauce I'm was tasting a,sauce in N.O n was trying to figure out all the seasoning now I got it n wen I make it I'll come bck n let Uneaux how it turned out ...Thank U😉
I cooked this the night before last and OMGG IT WAS SO GOOD! AND EVERY TIME I EAT LEFT OVERS THE FIRST BITE IS EVEN MORE AMAZING THEN THE LAST ! IM COOKING IT AGAIN TONIGHT😂 Thank you , Subscribing .
Here I am night two making this sauce now for chicken😮💨😮💨😮💨 I wish I could’ve got a picture of the fish I made but it was gone before I the thought even crossed my mind! AMAZING!!!!!
Just made this with catfish and had no heavy cream used half and half jalapeños and red peppers onions and tomatoes over mushroom rice excellent outcome
This looks like the sauce from Creole House on Canal St in New Orleans that the crab claws come in. Sop it up with a few hunks of baguette. C'est magnifique.
This looks sooooo good. I wanted to make a creamy pasta for my bf since he is in quarantine. Unfortunately I'm lactose intolerant and poor so had to make due with what I had st home, including 2%milk, vegan cream cheese and mozzarella. I hope next time I can use this recipe!
I'm gonna give this a try today. Have some red snapper on the half shell the wife and I caught last week. Gonna grill the fish, and was looking for a topping that will complement and not overpower the fish, think this looks like it. Think adding shrimp and lump crab to the sauce to pour over the grilled snapper should be the bomb. Thanks for vid. Time to go shopping.
@@wthbrooklyn5081 It was pretty tasty the second time I made it. I used lump blue crab with the shrimp that was a slight mistake. Didn't go to well with the sauce. The 2nd time was really good, I added snow crab meat with the shrimp for the sauce. Was so much better.
Mesha, freeze that sauce in ice cubes and add to anything you want. I'm saving mine for a soup but dang gurl, that is awesome!!!!!!!!! Google wants to spell for me.
Thanks for watching 💛
Great video! You sound so sweet 🤗

I've made this several times and it is AMAZING! It is definitely a staple in our house. Thank you!
This is a very delicious sauce. I added a stalk of celery with the pepper and onion to it. Most cajun/creole recipes use onion, bell peppers and celery (the cajun trinity). I also left out the southwest seasoning. Kudos Mesha. It rocks.
Definitely the BOMB!!! It was exactly what I was looking for to go with the fresh tomatoes, shrimp and linguini I had. Very nice, thank you!
Thank you, thank you!

@@wthbrooklyn5081
It was pretty tasty the second time I made it. I used lump blue crab with the shrimp that was a slight mistake. Didn't go to well with the sauce.
