@@DH-nz2pk The lobster base does have a salty taste. I have purchased locally and from Amazon with no issues yet. I would use less than the recommended 1 TB to start and chicken broth no sodium to control the taste better and that should help. Try one teaspoon and taste as you go.

First time making salmon. Just made this for my husband and it is a bangerrrrrrrr. I got a little stove top happy and basically did all the salmon on the stovetop instead of putting in the oven after but it was still really good! & the sauce tasted amazing even without the lobster base (couldn’t find any). My girl said the same until I cooked it for her and now she asks for it all the time. My method is similar to this except I do salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and dry Basil. Coat with olive oil. Cook it on a gas grill on a copper mat. I also remove the skin. I personally feel like salmon is so rich that this treatment he gives here is overkill and would be better suited to a cheaper fish with less flavor like cod or something. Which I plan on doing. great vid 👍

Good recipe, it tasted great, I hate all types of seafood, but my wife likes it so I make it for her every once in a while. I was able to get this down fairly easy. That’s a big compliment. You cooked it really well.
