Religion is just the way a culture views god, and there are many similarities of what god and divinity is amongst them. Why not starting connecting the same points and use other information that fits accurately? Sure not all of it is based on our current model of science and understanding. But that’s how a lot of history and current understandings have come to be, like doctors washing their hands before surgery or the advent of global telecommuncations technology. It didn’t make sense to every generation before, but by connecting the right dots with new information that came to be, those human advancements came to be. For example, according to the Quran everyone that doesn't follow Islam is an enemy, until they convert and pay for not being a Muslim beforehand. It also cannot be compromised with Christianity because if the Bible is true then the Quran cannot be true and vice verse. One big discrepancy is that in the Bible it is written that Jesus is one God in three persons, whereas the Quran claims him to be a mere human prophet, essentially calling him a liar or claiming he didn't say what he did, despite witness testimony claiming otherwise. Not everything is connected, some things operate independently of each other or even against each other.

Now you can pick and choose what you want to follow, like the average protestant or heretic, but don't seriously expect Catholics, Orthodox, and Muslism to nitpick what they want to follow from their holy text, especially since if you told that to a Muslim, you'd be signing your own death warrant because the Quran was written by Allah in their belief. So, that's the false assumptions taken care of. I said it before, I'll say it again. People will have contradicting beliefs, relgious or otherwise and a lot of them will not be possible to be reconciled with one another. Especially if they are fundementally contradictive.

Actually, Jordan makes some claims that would really be easy to prove wrong or right. The emerald tablets, for one. The rooms under the pyramid for two. The people with different DNA for three. Unfortunately, the unstated claim that could be used to explain why we can't test those bits of physical evidence is "conspiracy" or something along those lines. And "conspiracy" is an easy "get out of proving claims" card. And, also unfortunately, to prove just one of those things as true wouldn't do much to prove the rest of it as true. Although, those tablets would be massively big news. I mean, something that's atomically fixed? That would break almost every physical theory we're actively using.

CplEthane I believe you've misinterpreted the information given about crystals. They won't heal wounds or cure diseases, but are used to try and increase mental health, by making one calm, loving, etc. If something increases mental health, it should also increase general physical well-being. Anybody knows that being under a ton of stress can give you headaches, or even make you feel sick to your stomach. Religion is just the way a culture views god, and there are many similarities of what god and divinity is amongst them. Why not starting connecting the same points and use other information that fits accurately? Sure not all of it is based on our current model of science and understanding. But that’s how a lot of history and current understandings have come to be, like doctors washing their hands before surgery or the advent of global telecommuncations technology. It didn’t make sense to every generation before, but by connecting the right dots with new information that came to be, those human advancements came to be. Pull out the log in your own eye before pointing out the twig in your fellow human’s eye for clearer understandings of this world. It’s literally blocking your mind’s eye.

For example, according to the Quran everyone that doesn't follow Islam is an enemy, until they convert and pay for not being a Muslim beforehand. It also cannot be compromised with Christianity because if the Bible is true then the Quran cannot be true and vice verse. One big discrepancy is that in the Bible it is written that Jesus is one God in three persons, whereas the Quran claims him to be a mere human prophet, essentially calling him a liar or claiming he didn't say what he did, despite witness testimony claiming otherwise. Not everything is connected, some things operate independently of each other or even against each other.

Also, a lot of false assumptions in your thinking. There aren't n-teenth translations, we have the original text and we translate from that, in other words it's 1 translation. There are no perspectives to consider, to use the original example the Bible was written a bit after the beginning of the Lord's calendar and the Quran was written several centuries after, so it's a case of witness testimony against someone who has never seen those events.
Now you can pick and choose what you want to follow, like the average protestant or heretic, but don't seriously expect Catholics, Orthodox, and Muslism to nitpick what they want to follow from their holy text, especially since if you told that to a Muslim, you'd be signing your own death warrant because the Quran was written by Allah in their belief.
So, that's the false assumptions taken care of.
I said it before, I'll say it again. People will have contradicting beliefs, relgious or otherwise and a lot of them will not be possible to be reconciled with one another. Especially if they are fundementally contradictive.

I've been looking for this video for years! I saw this when I was in middle school. And recently two years ago I remembered about it but was never able to find it. I always talked about it with my friends when we would talk about stuff like this. It was so interesting to watch and I wanted them to experience it too and now that I have found it I got not friends.

I believe the best way to find your own truth is to study all points of view without rejecting any, and see which pieces YOU think fit the puzzle. This allows us to form our own belief systems that guide us through life, and give rise to the diversity that makes humanity what it is.

I believe you've misinterpreted the information given about crystals. They won't heal wounds or cure diseases, but are used to try and increase mental health, by making one calm, loving, etc. If something increases mental health, it should also increase general physical well-being. Anybody knows that being under a ton of stress can give you headaches, or even make you feel sick to your stomach. This is the extent of the healing crystals are supposed to perform.(from what I've learned, I haven't studied spirituality for more than a few months) I feel this is the last time we'll probably communicate, so let me leave you with a quote to ponder on, if you wish it.
