I did one pass in my S50 swapped E30 at a car show and it went 14.0 at 100 with a 2.34 60' spinning badly off the launch. I'm sure yours and mine could be a mid to upper 13 if you launch it properly.

I grew up around road racing and sports cars. I worked at a shop and the owner was a drag racer. Went to the track with him one time and became hooked.

Impressed, this car constantly shows you don't need a CRAZY amount of power to party. The weight and gearing on this car is its secret weapon. IMHO if you adjusted the rear height to even out rear camber closer to 0 and dropped the tire pressure more...high 13. Oh and a spare set of axles, rear, and clutch...

I really think the LS-Z would make a great drag car. If you wanted to build one that's actually a great starting platform. But I kinda feel like that's why you got the civic though, FWD drag racing has a huge community.

There was an Accord at the beginning. You should build a H or F swapped drag Accord. Be one of the first I’ve seen. 4th gens are pretty light
Is something up with your suspension? It visibly bounces under acceleration down the strip the whole first pass. Maybe it's just the stiffness

S52 E30 will totally do high 13s. S52s make more than stock but they aren’t beefy enough to fuck up your drivetrain so you can launch the shit out of it
