I donno if the garagistic jumper harness takes that into account. just letting u know if need be Also if this is a prefacelift 87 or before. if its a 325i it might have 2 fuel pumps one intank low pressure pump 5 to 8 psi. goes to big pump in front of driver side rear wheel
Great to hear it run. E30 is one of my all time fav cars it’s like 2ed to the Mercedes 190e (had an 88 190e when I first got my license 12 years ago) I’m partial to the 2 door E30 but the 4 doors are nice too.. as always great work great content can’t wait to see that old girl slippin sideways
Dude that shifter is absolutely gorgeous...it reminds me of the shifter in the early Koenigsegg CCX’s. Not even sure if I’d want to cover that thing with a boot...!
That soft feeling can be eliminated with the some nylon washers they come in different thicknesses all you have to do is add some on to the pin that has the sir clip on the end of it. You would just add those nylon washers or shims on the side of the shifter itself before you slide the linkage on and install the pin to attach the circlip. This eliminate the excess play. Repeat the same process on the transmission side of the linkage and it will tighten up that softness. Will feel crisp and eliminate the chance for mis shifts, esp when the gear throws are so close to one another.

Hey Jimmy Love your channel! Not sure if this will work. When you install the shift boot see if you can install it upside down. Take the shifter back out pull the boot through the hole then re attach the shifter. If that works you will still be able to see all your shifter down to the part that attaches to the body, instead of covering it up as that would be a shame. Just an idea.
Shifter is sweet I want one to (in black) but after watching this I swear my rebuilt shifter with garagistic poly bushings looks like it feels the same...

If you want to clean up that little bit of play in the shifter, switch out the pin for a bolt and nut. The tighter the nut the stiffer your shaft ;)

Best shifter is stick from z3 + oem rebuild shifter kit.
Replace the bushing that the front of the gear selector rod goes to to get rid of that little bit of play it has 👍🏼
