Lovely to see you out with the new boat and weaving between boats under sail! However, what is the red postage stamp you are flying???!!! I have got a decent size spare red ensign you can have if you would like it! Best wishes
Just come across your channel after searching Jester Azores, some great vids. Hows does the Fulmar compare to the Twister offshore ? I am looking to upgrade to the BK Fulmar next. Would you sail it to Azores ? I'd like a Long keel boat for some solo Blue water trips & Jester, but a wife and 3 kids means the Fulmar is a better fit!
It's a matter of perspective, 30 years ago, a 28 foot boat would've been considered a substantial family cruiser. These days, a family of four would want more. The twister is undoubtedly a more stable boat, it's also slower than modern designs until the weather gets nasty - then it's often faster. You pay your money and you take your choice. All boats are a compromise
@@SVRoquetta that’s no problem, I’m in Plymouth so il keep a look out for you! Would you consider installing a Hebridean on this one? Take care and hopefully see you out in The Sound. James
Great for me to see Roquetta sitting so nicely..
Some people just have so much fun.
great vids mate ,i used to live in Wier quay in the late 70s,early 80s
Nice sailing! Barton sells a rubber ring called the wincher that let`s you convert old winches to self-tailing.
Yup, I'll be fitting those in the next episode 🤣
Yay! smokin’ 😂

You must have been going 4 or 5 knots around those other sailboats.
I was until the main sheet parted 😂😂
Hi Justin, whereabouts are you in Plymouth? Also are you thinking of doing the Jester Challenge again? Take care James
I'm afraid my location is highly classifies, but yes, I do want to do the jester again! It's Ireland next year, that will be a scream!

Hi Justin,
Out of interest, what is the cost of the river mooring for your old boat Roquette?
Cheers,
Paul.
I'm not actually sure anymore..
