I am Brazilian and after a DNA test, I found out that my Y haplogroup is R-L51, also beared by the Scottish warrior “Neill of the nine hostages”. I feel glad of belonging to a so valiant people that spread their heritage to Portugal, country that is also a Celtic nation but almost never remembered as it. These bagpipes give me goosebumps! Simply gorgeous.

Bruce MacAllan Hey, Allan MacBruce, I was thinking that the bagpipes should be used in symphonies and such. The ability to hold a note for so long and such a saucy sound really appeals to me. (the indigenous people of Ireland ) who migrated into Caledonia the land of the Picks ,not everybody in Scotland today is of gaelic origin ....for the most part Scottish people today have a profound dislike toward the Irish who are actually the the true Scots !!..I think the irony is lost on them ; anyway you're proud of your" Scottish " blood but do you have a gaelic name if not then you're probably of Scandinavian French Norman are lowland English.
