Here I am just turning 66yrs old seeing your video for the first time, been natural for years did locs but missed my Afro, I really appreciate your content so much I can use, your delivery is great too. Keep going you are needed in this natural hair community
Why do we ALL struggle in the crown area 😂😂😂. For me too, that spot is a bear. If it wasn't for that area, it would take me 5min (instead of 8-10min) to detangle. P.S love your videos/shorts. I just decided to subscribe today 😊
Thank you so much. My daughter introduced me to your channel with the hair mask video! Looking forward to seeing more. Continued joy, peace and success to you.
Thank you for speaking on wearing your hair out can cause roughness on your ends💕💕💕People ask me why I don’t wear my hair out and honestly it’s to protect my hair. I wear protective styles it actual saved my length quite a bit. I was amazed lol. I get fairy knots when I wear it out. So I limit it.
Great video! You emphasized the trimming of the weathered ends perfectly. The cut came out beautiful! If you ever want to try face framing bangs perfect every time brush the front half forward, hold the ends between the index finger and middle fingers palm facing you and tips pointing up. While firmly holding the hair forward or slightly lower turn your fingertips downward then trim straight up the backside of your fingers. Learned this from Sam Villa perfect fringe every time. You have a new follower.
The best lesson I’ve learned is to trim my own hair at home! I’ve had sooo many setbacks from letting other ppl trim/cut my hair. I’m scared to even let other ppl touch my hair. I’m the best person to keep my hair healthy, nobody else! Too bad I had to lose so much hair over the years to understand this now! We live and we learn! 😫🤷🏽♀️
I just saw one of your shorts with different ways you did and coloured your hair. That Kirby one was so adorable!. 😊 Your videos are really cool to watch. I Learn a lot too :)
I am in awe with anyone whos taking such good care of their hair! Especially your hairtype seems to take extra care compared to straighter hair. I myself have 1c-2a hair and just recently shaved it all off because i cannot be bothered with it 😂😂😂
I just trimmed my hair using this video. I’ve done it on my own before but never this way. It was so much easier and came out pretty well. It would have been helpful to see the back of your head so I could see exactly how you are parting your sections before you trim them. I just winged it based on how I think you did it. 😅
Sighhh…..and now I will be trimming EVEN more b/c I was determined to keep my length smh. Its gotta go! This is why your hair is glorious and beautiful!
I like doing 4 sections in ponytails and just cut the ends my hair grow so much after a little trim grease and water has been growing my hair like crazy and deep conditioning home made hair mask
Hi, I'm going through your videos, but I haven't yet seen any where you say what you classify your hair type as.... Is it 3c, 4a, or a mix? Your afro makes it look 4a. What porosity and density? Are your strands fine, medium or thick? I know I sound intrusive, lol, but it helps me know what advice I can best incorporate, or at least try, and what to disregard. 😅❤
Hey! Id say have around 3c/4a and a LITTLE of 4bish hair. I don’t usually like saying my hair type cuz everyone has such mixed opinions on it and i dont care about hair type that much lol. And i have naturally low porosity hair on my roots but on my previously dyed/bleached ends they are high porosity and my strands range from medium to thick. Id also say my hair is high density!
@@Bigheadjustice Thanks so much for your reply! I only have 4a to the back of my hair below the ears. Everything else is 4b and 4c especially on my crown. Lol. Loving your product tips and advice on protecting your hair, already started incorporating some of those. 👌☺
Thanks soo much! I did trim my hair maybe 4 months ago and did a terrible job. I blow dried my hair yesterday and was going to flat iron it so I can really see where I need to trim it more efficiently. But after watching your video and can clearly see the see through ends I may not need to flatiron my hair. 😅🫣😁
I have 4 inch 4a hair and have been natural for 7 months can you give tips to grow to your length faster i am really insecure and im in middle school (secondary where im from) and they don't allow me wear my hair out .
When my hair was about that length when i was younger, i did alot of box braids and oiled and massaged my scalp every other day to help promote hair growth and retain it
@@Tari012the school doesn't let you wear your hair out? That's really so sad. Please don't think anything is wrong with it just because the school is ignorant. Your hair is beautiful (I know this even when I can't see it).😊
Hey am very inspired by you, am just curious if you believe in the bad ingredients thing, like if you don't use products with silicone, sulfate, paraben and so on and so forth, I just want to know.❤❤
I find it satisfying when hair goes from kinda stringy on the ends to full and thick looking after they're done being trimmed

Nobody and I mean NOBODY ever takes time to discuss trimming the problem areas. Thanks for really taking the time to show this. 🤍
Of course!!🫶🏽
It's probably just me but I love the sound of scissors cutting my hair ❤😂❤

There’s a genre of ASMR on hair cutting and just scissor sounds

Your just awesome 👌 well explained. Now I know the damage areas and how to trim 👍
Hiii do you know how to fix or deal with protein overload hair? Love your vids btw❤️
Heavily moisturize and steam. Avoid any protein in products untill your hair feels normal again.

3-4 Months is too often?? I have my hair dresser trim me every week ☹
Smh this is why I stop going to them they love to cut our hair stop doing that this is why our hair take so long to grow tell her no trim
I’m not even gonna lie I get way to scissor happy my hair could be short asf which it is n I be cutting off hella
Would you ever consider cutting your hair shorter if you were paid?
If im getting this correctly should i trim my hair every 3 to 4 months if i wear it out alot?
Do you happen to know the reason why your crown breaks off more?
