Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. A trader made over $350k in this recession influenced market
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. At 43 min in, I totally agree with him. Restaurants are expensive and you go out for the experience and I can't stand a dirty restaurant. I usually look at the bathrooms and if they are filthy, I never go back....and that is hard to find any more, nobody wants to clean the bathrooms. It's one of the reasons that I hardly go to Starbucks anymore....I'm paying $4-$5 for a cup of coffee and their bathrooms are disgusting. It didn't used to be that way. Or you go into a self-seating place and there are 4 people standing around behind the counter and there isn't one clean table to sit at....drives me crazy. I was a teenager and worked at restaurants and I worked my tail off and always made sure things were presentable.
I agree with you but perhaps we are being a bit hard on Starbuckies....they are on every corner..and they do not turn anybody away as a matter of policy...when all they want to do is use the bathroom. These are often homeless, drug-addicted, run-aways...etc etc. I am sure that if Starbucks only cleaned up just after their clients, their washrooms would probably look pretty good. They are just simply over-run...and understandably cant quite keep up.

Great interview in my opinion. I read some comments here about the interviewer talking less but you did a great job asking the right question at the right time. Your were in control from beginning to end to get the must useful information.
Yes you are right, we need more details. I have not found any billionaire who has even been close to disclosing the necessary details, because they don't want us to know the truth. And you don't need three simple steps to understand that!
This is the best video on you tube i like the way you take the interview and i must say your patience level is up to the mark. Amazing content keep it up.

Must demand it. As polite as I can be, I will not allow biz's to give me bad customer service. I will express it to the person and then speak with the manage to make them aware. There's no reason to take it. Either people will learn to treat others or they can go get another job that doesn't include dealing with people.
True I went to the Gucci boutique in Rotterdam recently and one of the ladies at the cash register was extremely rude. I expected better customer service.
Learn tons of useful knowledge from this video. Tilman Fertitta is the kind of successful businessman who is willing to tell his secrets of success. He is a very sincere man who does what he talks about. In this video, I learn that (1)Customer first, (2)Numbers, (3)Change change change, (4)do whatever I can do to achieve my goal, (5)always have the worst-case scenario, (6)Details, Details, Details. I am currently an undergraduate international student in Boston. While learning a lot from Tilman Fertitta and other successful entrepreneurs, I realize that execution is the most important thing for me. I need to take action to actually run a business, not to think every fucking day. Action and Learning, Dont fear, just do it.
One thing I notice is; while many who go from rags to riches are poor, they are decently educated. These individuals also have confidence in themselves which comes from good parenting, many of these individuals also tend to have good role models, and seem to be well organized task oriented individuals who can breakdown a large endeavor into small manageable pieces. It's sad that some who have become successful think themselves self made and solely responsible for their success while ignoring the part parents, siblings, extended family, friends, teachers, and other mentors in their lives.
Great interviewing questions. 2 cents of advice when interviewing an individual with great success is to consider the seamless nature of their journey because of their environment, race and financial exposure. This gentleman was able to get into doors many minorities could only dream of and it’s naive to think we all have the same opportunity. Many of us like to listen and learn from people who don’t have opportunities at their disposal and had to create a way through persistency and creativity.
Thanks for watching and I wish I could share all of the conversations that happened off camera! Anyway, if you liked this one, here's another with billionaire Kevin O'Leary that has some great lessons: ruclips.net/video/EPT5_RMSO_U/видео.html
A pizza place opened near me. They sent out an advertisement for pizzas at half price. I decided to try them. I took the ad in and they told me there was a mistake on the date and they could not do it until the next day. I asked to talk to management. He told me management was at a different location and he had talked to them. They said he could not do it. He was polite and told me I could come back the next day. I wadded up the ad, threw it in their garbage can and left. They were out of business in 3 - 4 months. I apparently was not the only one who thought they were stupid.
And here I am imagining and dreaming About becoming a simple poultry farmer I believe the main goal and purpose for becoming rich is to help as many other's as you're money and wealth allows. To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. I've been quite unsure about investing in this current market and at the same time I feel it's the best time to get started on the market, what are your thoughts?
Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

is this video just about advertising himself ? i keep falling into this trap of watching these videos when all i want is to be happy in what i do, and that doesn't necessarily mean being rich.
Why keep watching videos with titles that include billionaire/millionaire when happiness is your goal? The title heads the focus(unless it's clickbait/assholish-ness).
Check out David Meltzer channel. While part of the focus is monetary, he holds a solid ground on what else it takes to be successful in multiple arenas.
Why does any of that matter? Popularity is for people who want it, people with a bloated vocabulary talk over people instead of too them, doesn't seem the "brightest" is an opinion not based on fact. The fact is this guy is a billionaire which means he's pretty damn bright. Speaking of bad vocabulary "Crates goals" made me laugh...
@@DMDvideo10 First off, the comment was meant as a compliment to the man. That's fairly obvious to me and I'm assuming it should be to most. Secondly, the swipe feature on my busted up phone blows, but I'm certain you knew I was trying to write the word "creates". Also, grammar and vocabulary are two different things. Furthermore, mentioning that I have not heard of the guy was not supposed to mean anything except to state the fact that I hadn't. If I wanted to make a statement on popularity I would have done so.
@@MJ-zl6yp saying someone doesn't have the greatest vocabulary and doesn't seem bright is definitely not a compliment even if you say positive things afterwards.
@@vivdoolan6846 I disagree, to me the way I meant it was despite those things he was able to succeed. I commend, and respect him for that. I suppose what I was getting at is that despite the fact this man is clearly not well educated or articulate in speech, he has become quite wealthy. That is the compliment, one I'd be proud to have given to me....
If you really pay attention to all these success story from rich people, they all have one thing in common and that's working hard. You can get so many advise but if you do not work hard, they're just words.
Bryan, I hope you find this comment well. Fantastic interviews. You're such a great interviewer and you ask some deep questions that get to the heart of people's motivations. In this particular interview, I really appreciated your questions. I don't know what to think of Tilman. I listen to these interviews because I identify myself as an 'aspiring entrepreneur', and find your talks fascinating, motivating, and relational. However, in this case, Tilman looks to have been slightly 'triggered' by your questions because he couldn't seem to find sufficient answers. Perhaps it's because of his 'God-given talents' as an entrepreneur that he just couldn't answer such a simple question like: "how do you know you're making progress?" And at 35, his goal was to have a $700,000 jet? Is that what God wanted him to do? Because he didn't want to ride commercial anymore? Does that make him a more 'righteous' child of God versus someone who does ride commercial? I'm not particularly religious, but I find this to be a bit hypocritical coming from a multi-billionaire who was endowed with a headstart. If I'm not mistaken, there is research supporting how certain personality types (disagreeable, conscientious) are more likely to succeed than others. It seems that Tilman and many other wealthy people fit similar personality archetypes. I grew up in Baltimore to a single mother, lived in a bug and rodent infested apartment above a bodega, and went to some of the worst schools, getting bulled nearly every day in the process. My mother and I were written off as the black sheep because she married and eloped without a plan, money, or skills. Eventually, because of a fateful meeting with my stepfather who also didn't have a plan, money, or skills but had enough sense to get me out of the inner city, I joined the military, and am now making a comfortable income in a highly competitive, low barrier entry industry (fitness). I found nuggets of wisdom in this interview, because of your excellent questioning. Thank you so much for your tireless efforts, Bryan.
Yeah, probably sounds strange but off camera he told me he "lives on an airplane" traveling for biz so I wasn't sure if he lived in several cities now...

I agree with Tillman only half of what he says…but the truth is that nobody has to have the “DNA” for an entrepreneur, anybody can become an entrepreneur if it’s for the company and wealth. You have to read books about entrepreneurship and get formal education….(becoming your own leader) And how did he just “Keep punching” did he study in his teens? Was he simply lucky? Great interview in my opinion. I read some comments here about the interviewer talking less but you did a great job asking the right question at the right time. Your were in control from beginning to end to get the must useful information.
This is an amazing interview with so many great questions.
Interview did a great job and added value. Enjoyed the content. Enriching. Thought provoking. Thanks for posting. 👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻🤙🏻
Yes you are right, we need more details. I have not found any billionaire who has even been close to disclosing the necessary details, because they don't want us to know the truth. And you don't need three simple steps to understand that!

Took away some good nuggets here! Great Interview with great questions.
This is the best video on you tube i like the way you take the interview and i must say your patience level is up to the mark. Amazing content keep it up.
Good to see intensely like-minded people following through 💖💪✌️
WTF why this and so many others dont have huge views?? This is gold!!
When you realize that success people tips worth more than motivation videos, you start to succeed
Congrats for the great work!

Great
Customer Service is lost these days unfortunately.
I agree with you cause i haven't seeing it anywhere
Must demand it. As polite as I can be, I will not allow biz's to give me bad customer service. I will express it to the person and then speak with the manage to make them aware.
There's no reason to take it. Either people will learn to treat others or they can go get another job that doesn't include dealing with people.
True I went to the Gucci boutique in Rotterdam recently and one of the ladies at the cash register was extremely rude. I expected better customer service.
Tillman's energy is crazy
Action and Learning, Dont fear, just do it.
thanks for watching!
Only if you buy his book
I am 52 spent years trying to work out what I am good at. Just because I think I'm good at something doesn't mean everyone else thinks I am
Don’t let anything you do destroy your health this can destroy your business
Helped me see that I suck at things that I'm putting too much work into. Thank you
thanks for watching Debbie
I like Tillman hes got Charisma with a bit of hardcore. Both of these guys seem like they could be good friends. Great video yall
thanks Gabriel
Thanks for watching and I wish I could share all of the conversations that happened off camera! Anyway, if you liked this one, here's another with billionaire Kevin O'Leary that has some great lessons: ruclips.net/video/EPT5_RMSO_U/видео.html
Great interview !! 👍😎

It's Tilman, not Tillman
One of the best interviews this year.

I believe the main goal and purpose for becoming rich is to help as many other's
as you're money and wealth allows.
At least this is the way it should be.
To become a millionaire or billionaire
And being of the right mind and heart
Thousands or more people can be
Helped and Improved.
Surely the ultimate prize/achievement
From so much wealth and riches.
Hey I agree with you. Are you Jewish by any chance? The reason I ask is I've seen some of my Jewish friends spell God like G-d and was wondering why?
@@LAStreetPreacher
I'm a Jew Who believes in Yeshua
It's to keep what is holy pure.
This is why Thy L-rd G-d
is spelled this way.
Also practising Jews call G-d HaShem
Rather than using any
of the many names of G-d.
Just to keep it sacred , that's all.

Tilman is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Please stop being devil's advocate with broke minded ideas. Let him talk and share and dig deep into his billionaire mindset.
I literally listened to 5 minutes of this video and instantly hit the subscribe button. This guy knows how to ask ask excellent questions and is a great interviewer. I love this channel already, and nobody paid me to say this LOL.
I agree
Lol
I think we can start by asking God to guide us to find our 🎁.
What will you do if he share his experiance in 1 hour but charge 4000. Would you accept or not
This is sweet! Even in pandemic, most of this, if not all, applies! Thanks!
Glad you liked it! Here's the video I would recommend watching next: Overnight success ruclips.net/video/4UtGHXkGCxk/видео.html
I am thinking about a new type of restaurants: eating-spots
in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate
this is opposed to current restaurants,
thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are more powerful than restaurants,
along with that, there is an app,
people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days.
menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.
amazing how this guy acknowledges how fuc**ing rich he is. So straight and behaves and speaks exactly how a billionaire should and buys cool stuff.
thanks for watching
Thanks for this interview Bryan, love your videos sir
The brand with The Houston Rocket is China Legacy via Yao Ming. Tilman didnt mention that China is just as big of a market for the Rockets as the USA
He was smart to bank on it then.
Thank you so much...I need to buy this book.
;)
Not a lot of interviewers ask great questions like you do.
thank you Kavika
Love Tillman's line at 13:07. Hit me in the feels.
Found another at 14:10. More to come I assume...
Candid chat. Great tips.
He looks exactly like what I would imagine for a casino owner
Funded quietly by the Costa Nostra behind closed doors
Such a great interview I enjoyed how do you interview were waited patiently for the answer and did not interrupt awesome work
thanks JF
I agree. There is the perfect sync. But, some people are damn hard to be interviewed or to put it differently the egos come in the way. I would be careful welcoming Seth Godin to this show. This is a tough job.
Software Engineering Life Have you watched any of my episodes with Seth here? I have an entire Playlist dedicated to him...🎯
This is quite interesting and informative, but if you want to be financially free don't depend on one source of income, invest for the future of tomorrow, then see how ecstatic you will be in due time
Wow, so you invested with Mr Briggs Donald also? this man is Really dominating the trading zone and making things easy for his investors, keep up the good works sir.
Hello are you guys saying Mr Briggs is that good? heard crypto investment is really profitable, I'm interested how can i reach him please??
Good to see how you guys came up here to show keen appreciation to Mr Briggs, his just a philanthropist and a Genius in the trading zone he deserves the recommendations and applauds
Mr. Briggs Donald must be the real deal for people to come here and give good recommendations and how they benefit from his strategies, i will give a trial and see how it goes.
My goal is to listen to this everyday atleast for the next week- month, so many gems in this amazing video. Thank you
Valuable information in this interview
To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. I've been quite unsure about investing in this current market and at the same time I feel it's the best time to get started on the market, what are your thoughts?
Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.
There are actually a lot of ways to make high yields in a crisis, but such trades are best done under the supervision of Financial advisor.
@Dan Brooks Impressive! can you share more info?
@Dan Brooks She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
Great interview. Thank you for posting. Audio video sync is off. Video is ahead of audio.
Thanks Vincent
I appreciated his regret story.
Business owners need to be good salesman not necessarily for other people but for your own self sell yourself and whatever it is you sell and Everybody is your customer potential customer so you’re always selling in Walmart and the grocery store at their house and Church driving down the road you’re always marketing and selling yourself and your business so pay attention to what you wear what you look like how do you present yourself every moment of the day. Me I have always owned a service business I learned a pool service business cleaning business and window cleaning business you always do what you can afford to get started if you want to do bigger and better things later let this be your seed money to the bigger more expensive types of businesses
is this video just about advertising himself ? i keep falling into this trap of watching these videos when all i want is to be happy in what i do, and that doesn't necessarily mean being rich.
Focused. On the wrong thing if thats what your getting out of it. Part of the game though
Excellent advice,I think you are awesome!!,I'm going to get the book!!
Never heard of this dude. Doesn't have the greatest vocabulary. Doesn't seem the "brightest" but has common sense. Crates goals and achieves them.
If u have a family who loves u unconditionally, this alone makes u wealthy. Money cant buy love or happiness.
great video. I learn so much
Camera Man: Look at anything but the person you are talking to.
😂 I think I probably intimidated Tilman...
@@BehindtheBrand I use to work in post production and notice stupid things. Great interview btw.
I like how this man thinks!
Do yo have RUclips Chanel?
Wow lol I don't think he read the book think and grow rich but he still hit the answer square in the face
hes like a billionaire Rickey bobby "baby i was born knowin how to make money"
Failure isn't an option I always say ones only fails if they give up.
Failure is an option.
But you have to learn from the failure.
Not learning, THAT is not an option.
So what do you call it when you actually fail?
Thank you so much for your tireless efforts, Bryan.
thank you for the kind words
@@BehindtheBrand kind words are not enough to show my appreciation for your efforts. Just consider me another soul who you've touched and impacted.
Interviewer: so you’re originally from Texas?
Tilman: still am
Yeah, probably sounds strange but off camera he told me he "lives on an airplane" traveling for biz so I wasn't sure if he lived in several cities now...
Texas forever!
Boom mic ftw.
(Or cut the audio better.)
😱
This guy know his shit.
It's crazy how everyone is fighting to say the first.. we are learning from one another. Let's let it be that... how about you ask people what you're good at.. then relax it will come..
Good content, i am here for the first time, but i have a positive impression.Lot of things to take away.
thanks!

Very nice interview; enjoyed it very much thank you.
Someone I know from Miami, his Grandparents Z”L owned the Golden Nugget in the past and Frank Sinatra gave then a private show.❤️
Great interview!
Came to the United States when i was only one. From nothing to owning and running my own car detailing and car dealership business. Still working on my Journey to be really successful and i wanna share it with you guys! Give me some of your time to consume my content so you can get motivated to start your entrepreneur Journey. Only 22 years old from immigrant parents and making my american dream come true.
I worked at one of his Golden Nugget properties. I said to myself if at my four year mark I dont receive a raise im outta here. I now work for one of his competers. He can run his businesses how he wants.. I don't have to be a part of it.
@@PaulSavop seriously... This is the Internet. My grammer skills are fine. I'm reaching to the masses. You want a duel? Bring it on, asshole! Do you really think that being a billionaire makes you successful? Maybe, when it comes to regenerating cash, not on at being successful as a HUMAN BEING! Who cares about commas and semi Collins these days. Get a grip...brain washed fool.
Ok the way he answered the how do you know when it's time to give up on an idea (the when do you cut bait) told me that he inherited the money to start his path to becoming successful!!! He did not even come close to understanding the how do you know question! Granted there are many types of businesses that one would know if it's going to be successful but there are many types that they'll be times that you want be able to tell if your business is going to take off or not and many people quit not knowing that they almost stuck gold

Great video. Loads of wealth, experience and learning material compiled here. If the audience doesn't get it, then its their fault. Btw, you are a great interviewer and as we know, these days, that's hard to find.
ps If you're in the gaming industry or or perform business, which has you regularly frequenting casinos in Vegas, then you should absolutely know, which casino it is by looking at the ground :)
Success is actually things falling in its place in your favour, more than you trying to make things fall in your favour.
Listening while running Bryan. Great conversation!
Very great content.Dream big, but you should also make moves and build a great team.
6:15 Moment Tillman realizes he needs to slow down for this interviewer.
I agree with Tillman only half of what he says…but the truth is that nobody has to have the “DNA” for an entrepreneur, anybody can become an entrepreneur if it’s for the company and wealth. You have to read books about entrepreneurship and get formal education….(becoming your own leader)
And how did he just “Keep punching” did he study in his teens? Was he simply lucky? Or is it the fact that he might’ve had a high income family? Those questions need to be answered.
*I hope you have a good day today!*
