These kinds of design trends need to go, or games will follow that new one Concord. Like they made a character with a gunt or a gick I can't tell the gender of it. Looks like something you would aspire to be? A giant fat unhealthy blob, you want that for a partner in a battle? Or would you prefer someone fit and capable. Gaming fantasy guys and girls its not suppose to be reality, we play to escape that....

If we’re playing a fantasy game to escape reality, then a character’s physical attributes, unconventional appearance, gender identity (like Pocket, who many believe is non-binary), or age shouldn’t matter. Fantasy is about transcending real-world limitations, so breaking away from conventional norms allows for more prosperous, more inclusive experiences that resonate with a diverse range of players.
That being said, there are a few designs I believe could be improved, though not in the ways you’ve mentioned.

@@NgaMarsters We can agree to disagree but heres some food for thought. A character that you can identify with has to be identifiyable first of all and it has to inspire. You look up to or are inspired by things that are strong usually. For example Captain America was created for propaganda used to inspire heroism to encourage people to fight in wars. Now Cap is jacked, ripped, well spoken, attractive and a born leader. Something to aspire to, he is not an old decrepid thing. Like I said in the video I want to feel powerful and massive part of that fantasy is the look. The 80s movies were massive for a reason. And asethics exist whether you like them or not. Have a good day/night.

Ah I understand where you're coming from.
I shall repay your food for thought with a dessert.
While it is true that Captain America embodies the ideal hero archetype, as time has marched on, the consensus on which those attributes are has dramatically expanded beyond those you have listed.
A wide variety of traits inspires people, and physical appearance is just one small aspect. In fact, many of the most compelling heroes aren’t idealized in terms of looks but stand out because of their resilience, courage, or inner strength. Take characters like Yoda or Gandalf-both are old, far from the physical ideal, yet their wisdom and strength are what inspire. Their influence comes from their depth, experience, and ability to lead and inspire others rather than their physical prowess. Being able to identify with a character isn't just about looking up to someone for their muscles or attractiveness; it’s often about connecting with their struggles, personality, or values.

@@NgaMarsters I agree with this also, love Yoda and Gandalf. But upon first inspection they are at least intriguing wouldn't you agree?

@@Imvmad Yes, and I think the characters of Deadlock also look incredibly intriguing, even if I think Grey Talon, Mo & Krill, and others need more work beyond the traditional hero attributes, which I'm glad that the game looks to be leaning towards
One way I would improve on Vindicta's design is to make part of her lower body transparent since she seems to be going for the whole 'ghostly' vibe at first glance
