Love the retro looks of the Ioniq 5, but given the 6 runs the same mechanicals, shows how aerodynamics can impact EV efficiency (with 6 giving an extra 30-50 miles range over equivalent 5). While enjoy the overall comfort on a motorway, wish the 5 was a bit less floaty - fine on smooth roads, but on rutted or bumpy surfaces has poor body control to the point of inducing travel sickness for passengers… Haven’t driven a 6 yet, but sounds like it may have gone too far the other way (like the TM3)
Well as a regular troll I would say that design although interesting ends just there. Feels to much bubble especially from side it quite looks like a stretch beetle , but then again we already had that and no body liked it - Panamera. Boot space is a killer thing for me , 400 liters is just not enough , 560 liters in my DS7 is barely enough and sometimes I struggle with it. Sedans with sloping roof lines are just a thing guys buy cause they are not allowed to buy coupe either by a company rule, or by their wife, so they pretend to have a family car while trying pretend they are hunting in the wild. Anyway this one will not impress the ladies, nor will ooze macho effect for the boys - and as a family car , its just not the right package .
Something not quite right with the proportions of this car. The front looks good, the back looks great, but together they don’t quite gel.
Agree
I don't agree! It's a fine looking car.
Great looking car. So no fancy moving are rest? Thanks for the review, Mark. PS. Don't think we need the junk bag anymore.😂

Are you enjoying your job?
This feels like a trick question but... yes, why?
sure.
Banging video Mark not sold on the looks on this one
I bought for the glovebox drawer.

It reminds me of a 2005 Mercedes CLS. Banana shaped, dont get a yelllow one. Great reviews as usual. 👍
Skip the background ‘bell of doom’ please. A five day Easyjet flight sounded exotic but looks like Newcastle to Luton so perhaps not.
Hmmmm saab 96 😂
