Had the same issues with mine. The comp turns slightly and rams into the guide rod on recoil. The supplied loctite on the barrel threads and blue loctite on the set screws solved my issues. The instructions tell you to loctite the muzzle brake before use, not sure why it doesn't come ready to use. Other than that issue extremely impressed.
Definitely had the same issue at first with mine jamming too. It seemed to remedy itself after about 60-70 rounds, but we shall see long term! I’ll keep in mind reaching out to S&W like you did for a replacement spring, so thanks for mentioning that!
The comp came loose on ours too during 2nd mag. It was already loctited from the factory but not very good. Very nice shooting pistol for sure. Please do a video on your 4runner someday.
How is the recoil without the comp on it? I have one and think it shoots great. Love both the metal and this one. I thought I saw somewhere Smith said 124gr or higher.
On ours the comp came loose after 2 mags so I just took it off. I was planning on that from the beginning and I didn't notice any difference with vs without the comp. Go check out our video!
Personally every comped gun I’ve owned has a break in period. Pmm comps tend to eat 124 and then once everything smooths out it will then eat 115s. Not sure what this comp is doing but might need some hotter ammo to break in
I ordered it but since I’m in Europe I have to wait until the beginning of March. And pay a lot more for it 😢 but can’t wait tho take it to the range. Great video 👍🏻
I was gonna just order a Faxon barrel and comp for my 2.0 metal but it says on there website that there is fitment issue with newer optic ready S&W and the faxon barrel so idk.
I’m late to the party. Thank you for making this video. It is exactly what I was looking for and wanting to know. Have you heard if S&W will be doing a 2024 run?
I heard the M&P 2.0 series have an issue with optic plates coming off when shooting? Is that true and if so is it fixed or is it a solution? I want 10mm
All guns have to be broke down and cleaned new or used. Have seen too much of this with on you tube. And Mr. Gunsand gear is not the person to call. 😂 Do not think you should be reviewing any gun and if I was any gun manufacturer I would never send you anything.Yes I own one. NO PROBLEMS

I definitely want this to go with my regular 2.0 metal!
1st video of yours I've ever seen and after that intro I had to hit the sub button. Well done.
Wonderful intro! Luvin it.

Use the locktite and screws it came with
@@trentonfreeman2114will definitely looking for these two items when my order is ready. Thanks
Interesting packaging. Thanks!
Damn you can shoot!! Amazing skills man
Thank you for your review. I doubt if I'll shoot mine. I got it as a collector.

That Faxon comp vents a lot of gas (I own two Glock style), a lighter recoil spring will remedy those failure to feed malfunctions for sure.
It doesn’t make more gas come out, it redirects the path of the gas as it comes out.
I have this same gun on my IG, running it with no issues. Flat and Fast as hell.
Drop down to a 14lb recoil spring. Faxxon comps vent A LOT of gas.

Talk about bad QC - handpicking and sending a guntuber a gun that doesn’t cycle with the comp on it. 😂
It literally tells you in the manual to loctite the comp before using. Some I’ve seen came ready to use but that was probably the issue.
@@BrandonGavin_EDC so you have to add more loctite after each time you take off the comp to clean ?
@@MkArms1997 pretty much
@@MkArms1997the comp is a gimmick just remove the dam comp and install a suppressor that’s there the real fun is!
I can’t wait for mine to arrive, ordered it 40+ days ago still hasn’t arrived…….
This gun will be mine!

Great video 👍🏻
Awesome review. 👍

I had the same issue. 119gr didn't eject cleanly, every single shot. So far 124gr is working. No issues with the compensator. Snazzy gun.
Careful with those knives homie! Great video though, really considering this if I can find one local.

Like the shadow systems dr920p...lighter recoil spring and break in.
Do you know if they'll sell the slide by itself?
I wish they had the normal metal frame in that color without the slide holes
What spring did you get?
You started to say, but got sidetracked: Were the replacement springs sent from S&W lighter? Can you share the specs if known?
I wonder how is this compared to the new beretta 92 🤔
This series only chambered in 9mm? I love my M&P pistols but not a fan of 9mm at all
Here i am again, watching another gatman review before i go buy it just like i did with the echelon 🤣
😍😍😍
Mine is doing the same thing.
Juan Wick strikes again...
someone needs to compare this to the competitor please!
The spec has an upgraded sear.
Look at the writing on the pistol. It says only run plus p ammo it it for reliability.
Doing what the 10mm was doing
PLEEEZ i want to see ( Troy M4A4 16" ) PLEEEEEEEZ

No attempts were made to aesthetically match the slide and comp.
