In this case what I meant was that a lot of people think that Miley Cyrus is just a shallow sex doll who sings some very popular songs when in reality she is a very smart and open person who plays with her image and knows exactly what she is doing. As a person she is much underrated.
@@Meine.Postma I see your point. But I can't help but compare her wildly successful career to bands like Honeymoon Suite, who you may not know because they were underrated. I get it, though. And I agree that people who don't recognize her ability are missing out on something great.
I thought Blondie was smoking hot when I was a hormone crazed teen skating at the rink!! What was her name... Debra Harris...or something like that!! I can't even picture her in my head now...other than she was really small with blond hair...lol maybe I need hormone shots to restore my memory!!! I’ve found Miley blows me away, but towards end of songs she tapers off on the bigger vocal efforts. This song only supports my thought. That being said, the girl can sing!!!!

I've loved Miley since her Hannah Montana days with Disney, and I think she gets a lot of negativity thrown her way simply because she actually GREW UP and became who SHE wants to be. That said, I agree that she has a definite rocker vibe when she wants to. She is an amazing entertainer who doesn't get the credit she is due.

First time I saw the video, I commented below on another reaction channel, but I was wondering if her vocal cord surgery affected her ability to use head voice. It could’ve been a choice of her to keep belting , but I feel like there’s a chance that she wanted to avoid using it all together here because maybe she hasn’t developed that skill back.
Could well be! To be honest I’m not entirely sure of the ins and outs of what surgery does to a voice, register wise, but I heard Marco from Nightwish and Elton John have almost entirely left their head voices post surgery.
I think Miley’s voice is great, but I’d be very careful if I was her, going back to the recipe that gave her the nodules in the first place. Hopefully she’s learning to make that sound healthily, and isn’t doing gig after gig after gig, recovery time is essential!
I'm no expert but I do know that KZ Tandingan lost her high notes when she had polyps removed from her vocal cords. That is why she started using so much creativity!! Just proves you can be great without 5 octives!! It's all about using what you have to the best of your ability!!!

hey coach, is debbie harry singing in falsetto in her version, or is her voice just naturally higher? i noticed that miley is BELTING the vocals. surely she could choose to sing it in a falsetto style, but i think miley has a naturally deeper voice than debbie harry.
