I saw Miley on RUclips Joe Rogan podcast. She had something wrong with her lymph nodes in her neck and had a throat procedure done. And she had to take a little break and learn how to pretty much learn how to sing again. She had a little trouble but she embraced her new low raspy voice. It's wonderful it fits her. I've never been a Miley fan until now. And I'm digging her. Not much as I dig blonde. I grew up with blonde.
So i basicly only listen to metal and 60's/70's pop and this is fucking amazing. I pretty much HATED all of her pop song, don't fucking talk to to me about wrecking ball being music. But this...... this is epic. Not only does the band elevates the original song, but Miley elevates their performance ten fold.
Miley has so much talent. Anyone that doesn't see it is just saying that because they are reacting to her image, and they don't like her image. That being said, she has a VERY unique voice. I think there have been times when she didn't pick the right song to match her voice, and it can be disastrous. Because of that, I think she has to be very careful picking songs. This could not have been a better song for her. If the rest of the album sounds like this, it might be her biggest album ever.
I honestly do not understand why they don't like her image... she is beautiful, her slim long body, nothing you get to see nowadays with most girls wanting to look like Kim Kardashian... Miley looks like the beautiful women of the 80s and 90s
