Thank you for this, James. I spent many years in my 20s in agonizing pain, hopped up on pain killers, and spending a fortune on chiropractors, because of two herniated disks between my shoulder blades. NO ONE told me to build up my back muscles and neck muscles. They only treated the symptoms, over and over and over. Once I learned how to strengthen my back muscles the herniated disks vanished, and now in my 30s I am stronger and healthier and PAIN FREE, than I was when I was younger.

Use cold packs to help relieve some back pain and hot packs to increase blood flow and promote healing in the muscles and tissues of the back.

Wanted to say thank you James. I’ve been incorporating the reverse hypers using a large physio ball for months now and my low back has never felt better. Your vids have been a Godsend to me and I’m eternally grateful. God bless you and your family!

I always appreciate the information you put out there for the general public. Please don't ever stop making these videos. I recommend some of my clients to your channel as a reference when I discharge them. That way, they can continue to develop strength and mobility at a higher level. There are a lot of incorrect information on youtube that can lead to more dysfunction in people following their advice so I try to filter it out for them. Please keep up the good work! Much appreciate it!

James wow! You helped fixed my debilitating back issues a couple years ago with videos like this one - thank you so much for this type of content really changed my life. I’m turning 30 in a few weeks and am in best shape of my life, lost 20 pounds now around 10%BF and stronger than I was when I was 20 years old. Your videos are the foundation of my lifestyle and workouts. Thank you James

Reading these comments and stories gives me so much hope. I’ve been in terrible pain for over a year now. Shooting and stabbing pain on my entire left side all the way down to my foot. The mornings are brutal and I’ve seen chiropractors and physical therapists here and there. X-rays revealed nothing. Just got an MRI finally after PT was not yielding results. Not only is my body suffering, but a few years ago I suffered a horrendous mental breakdown, which had many residual affects, and I severely struggle with physical touch. This pain has forced me to confront way more than I’d anticipated, but I’m so ready to have my life back. I used to cycle and mountain bike, but the seat causes too much discomfort to tolerate. I walk everyday and am still active. I miss the old me....but am trying desperately to get to the other side. Thank you all for your rehab stories. I want so badly to be well again.

You have no idea how grateful I am that you shared this, I've been suffering from lower back pain for over a year and a half, tried lots of exercises, therapy, spent a lot of time and money and never fully recovered, but now I'm trying some of your exercises and the improvement is real and immediate, thank you so much Dr James!!!!

As a decently tall guy (190 CM) working an office job, I used to get these kinds pains all the time. Since I started working out following James’ advice, these pains stopped happening. The last time this kind of pain happened to me is more than 2 years ago. Thank you James!

I'm only 22 years old and I'm a metal worker. I had a lot of back pain after my shifts and James your old video on back pain training helped me SO much and your other videos just about how to lift things properly in general. People in industrial lines of work NEED this information desperately and need to know how to properly lift things. I do those back pain exercises religiously and I've never had a problem since. I can't thank you enough!
