      This video is riddled with false facts. The manager had no idea what he was talking about with the equipment specs. It is actually embarrassing.

      and 300,00 of them were contaminated before sterilizing from my staff's fleece lint. Fleece-warmed CS employees are always more important than patient safety, even if none of the staff are actually wearing the fleece jackets 🙂

      monkistyle he said it would incinerate a chicken meaning that the heat would be powerful enough to incinerate a chicken

      @@_ponkachonka Which is false. They get to 270 degrees F. Not hot enough to incinerate a chicken.

      @@Heritagepostfarms Plus it doesn’t kill all bacteria and viruses but sterilizer/sterrad does.

    Why not use Electron Beam (EBeam) Irradiation technique for Sterlization before reuse. It is far more effective than steam. The EBeam can do mulitiple tasks including Sterliziing the laundry, other incoming deliveries, gloves etc.

      @@ananthasb5550 Sterilizers dont get rid of blood and such. That is what the washer is for. Sterilizers just sterilize. They use steam because it is the cheapest option

      @@jeffco20044able Depends on the instruments. Some require low temp and need VPRO using Hydrogen peroxide and vacuum.

      and the 2-hole clamp must always be dissambled for washing...these people are clueless about how to clean, and thus patient safety

      Or at least in a container that can hold the ring. Man I hate genesis containers. Also the set had one indicator along a random side. And no count sheet for the set. I wouldn’t be surprised if it even had filter in it. Lol 😂

    It's an autoclave, it isn't going to "incinerate a chicken".

      Thank you. I was looking for this. They get to 270 degrees F. Thats it. The chicken would be slightly cooked

      @@Heritagepostfarms Chicken would be rather well done if cooked through t 270° F. Generally the autoclave will get the already cleaned instruments to 270° F all the way through. Enough to kill most any pathogen.

      @@ArtVanAuggie The cycle holds steam for 30 mins max. 30 mins at 270F wont cook a chicken at all

      First solution is typically Klenzyme it's an enzymatic cleaner. The second solution is Cidex again both solutions kill blood-borne pathogens and proteins.

    I cleaned surgery gear for a week. Pity those scalpel cleaners. Boring work. It was more hands on back then but still very intensive & high standards

    This dude has no idea what he is talking about. The washers dont have 10x more pressure than a car wash and the autoclaves dont get hot enough to incinerate a chicken. This guy is pulling facts out of his butt
