Im from Serbia and I dont see why Serbia was "usually bad". We did never do anything bad in our history and were always on the good side. The only time we did shit was in the 90s but we weren't the only ones. Bosnia and Croatia did bad stuff too, but in their case a lot got hidden, and much of the information about us is just propaganda. And in the end of the war even USA started with crimes too, they bombed the hell out of us and commited a lot of other war crimes (bombing hospitals, schools civil trains, this list can go on for days, everything hidden to the public!) But of course there are normal people who want to make peace together. And now I am asking myself why we are "usually bad". If you can find something in the last 1000 years I could undestand it, but you won't, please look at what USA did or Germany, Germany is a beautiful country nowadays which is doing super, but their history is... It is over 90% Albanian, and we couldn't get it back without either convincing Kosovar Albanians to join back or committing some serious human rights abuses (which the international community wouldn't allow). Yes, declaring unilateral independence was probably not in compliance with UN articles on the subject of Kosovo, but my advice is, the sooner we get over it the better. If anything, we have an upper hand now in negotiations due to very poor governance of Kosovo by their leaders. All in all, in the end it'd be beneficial to keep on the path to recognition.

We lost Kosovo even before the war. It is over 90% Albanian, and we couldn't get it back without either convincing Kosovar Albanians to join back or committing some serious human rights abuses (which the international community wouldn't allow).
Yes, declaring unilateral independence was probably not in compliance with UN articles on the subject of Kosovo, but my advice is, the sooner we get over it the better. If anything, we have an upper hand now in negotiations due to very poor governance of Kosovo by their leaders. All in all, in the end it'd be beneficial to keep on the path to recognition.

Gadhafi's Libya was NEVER evil. It was one of the only countries that resisted US imperialism.
The West thought of Mandela as a terrorist because he was a terrorist. He deserved to be put in that prison. Libya, just like the communists countries, only used that to get back at the West.
A part from the medical issues, most of the 'good things' they do is subjective. Education (Zimb) is not always necessary, actually when your people are starving it should not be the first thing on your mind. Or again, South Africa, apartheid was far from perfect, but would anyone, black or white choose post-apartheid SA over pre? Of course not. (and yes, even black people were making vast improvements under the old white government with all the racism, just ask the King of the Zulu)
