the fact that Bhutan, Tuvalu and New Zealand are on the list, but countries like China, France, Brazil, Turkey and India are not makes the this list completely useless.
just Try to research on China and India, i'm damn sure you will be amazed.. Indian has won war on Himalayas, imagine getting tank over 6km from sea level. And, India is just behind 1 or 2 ranks from top military around the world, dude. And, why you put UK in this list? just one reason is enough to invade it, many countries are waiting for it.
Pritesh Shirsath I mean. the UK does make sense as island nations are very hard to invade, but China would be harder to invade because all those Asians
@@HansLennros-ry5izNo, they're not. There is the 135 member Swiss Guard. They are paid by the Vatican to guard the pope. It is the only Swiss military presence outside of Switzerland. But the Swiss army itself is funded by Swiss tax payers to defend only Switzerland. The Swiss army itself has nothing to do with the pope.
@@alanhorowitz3796 The actual army of the Pope, the *Pontifical Swiss Guard,* is trained by the regular Swiss army (the Swiss Armed Forces) and handpicked among its troops. The guardsmen (halberdiers) are Catholic single men up to age 30 who are Swiss citizens. Hence it can be said that the Swiss are the actual army of the Pope. As I said.
@@HansLennros-ry5iz The Swiss army is funded by the Swiss people. The Swiss army defends Switzerland. They are neither funded nor trained by the Vatican and only 135 are NOT stationed in Switzerland.
One thing you didn't mention about America is our pride. Not only are there TONS of guns, but there are places in America where an invading force would be set upon from every single visible window. American's would fight back with such a fervor that any invading force, even if it would be able to overcome our military, would have an even more daunting challenge of controlling the INCREDIBLY well-armed populace, to say nothing of our para-military police forces. America truly is invincible to conventional invasion. Such a shame we can't get our own infrastructure under control.
Logical Lion if a country was powerful enough to beat the army of the US (which is the superior one in our time )it would have no trouble beating it's populace.Technology today makes guerilla warfare nearly impossible.it could even level an entire city
Did you forget? America has that technology too. We probably have equipment that negates the effects of heat seeking devices. Not to mention that most likely the technology the enemies are using were developed in the USA.
North Korea did not defeat UN forces. That was done by China. Ignore history and be cursed. To invade countries surround by the seas requires several aircraft carriers. Only one country has these forces.
@lilmothugs nah, it's very relevant. Freinds and family might need them, and if one jams, or if its lost. Also, their are dif guns for dif needs. You dont use a shotgun or handgun to take down an elk at 200 yards, and you dont use a 30-06 or 7mm ect. to defend yourself in your house or other close quarters. Two hands is irrelevant. 10 guns is objectively better to have than 2.
haha I did because It is an interesting topic. Iran or Persia in history has been both the seat of great powers and invaded by them. Although, I hope we can debate this passionately forever, and never know the reality of a massive war again.
Joshua Bonner and they didn’t even make the list! Somehow I think a country with a population of a couple billion and modern technology would not be one to invade.
NK crossed the line and ignited the war, which started well for the North since US military had a relatively small amount of troops and equipment there, once they got there they took back a lot of land, Chinese involvement stopped them from rolling over the rest of the North. China saved the North
Yanuchi Uchiha nobody is launching Nukes. Period. Nobody wants to die altogether, that's not the point of war lol. Maybe Iran and NK are stupid enough to try that, but none of the superpowers are. All of their nukes have been around since the Cold War when nuclear expansion was popular, and now we keep them around, because how do you properly dispose of all of that nuclear power? You don't, at least we don't have a way right now. So it's only practical to keep them stored where they have been for years already, because it's economically sensible to do that instead of attempt to completely disarm all the nukes. Technology will give us a way someday to get rid of terrible weapons like this.
Canadian here: our country is most certainly NOT equipped with the latest gear. Not even close. Some of our helicopters can barely fly. I love my country for what it is, but our country's army couldn't beat the U.S.'s Salvation Army. This is no insult to our soldiers, they are all great, they are just not well supported economically by our government.
FYI, Neither Australia nor Japan have aircraft carriers. Australia has 2 amphibious assault ships with up to 18 helicopters. Japan has 3 helicopter carriers with a 4th to be commissioned in March 2017. There are plans for 2 of them to have F-35s, but they have none at this time. The USA has 10 carriers, with 2 under construction. Again, you are counting amphibious assault ships as aircraft carriers. I'm not counting the Enterprise as it's being decommissioned just 2 days from now. Russia was successfully invaded by the Mongols in the winter.
TopTenz both those sources say right off the bat that the ships are not classified as aircraft carriers. no matter their possible capabilities they are not aircraft carriers. amphibious assault ships are designed to deploy and support ground troops, while an aircraft carrier is designed as an ocean going airport.
TopTenz Like I said, amphibious assault ships and helicopter carriers. I even noted the plans to have fighters on 2 Japanese ships. Thus does not make them Carriers. (if the Japanese ships get F-35s, I'll agree that they are then carriers) As your article notes, putting aircraft on the assault ships impedes it's primary mission. Several US amphibious assault ships DO have fixed wing aircraft. Are they carriers? No. The aircraft (currently AV-8Bs) only support the ground operations of the marines. They do not have independent strike or air superiority capability. Replacing the Harriers with the F-35b on the US assault ships will NOT make them Carriers as their primary mission will not have changed. You could put VTOL aircraft on most ships in most navies. You can even put them on freighters and oil tankers. That doesn't make them carriers.
First Cynic But they got kicked out. Like he said, even if it is successfully invaded, the invaders would have a hard time. The Rus' were weak compares to Mongols but they still expelled the Mongols
Real Dat Boi Russia, US and Japan are india's Ally. Himalaya acts as a natural between India and China, so China can't invade India(Indian military is not the same 1962 military version). And our armed force fuckin rank 4th in most powerful armed forces in the world by GFP
You laugh, but really, they have wasted an absurd amount of money trying and failing to make working rockets, for longer then it took to INVENT space faring rockets, that they could have used feeding their people and keeping technology up to par with South Korea.
Almost 300,000 officers , about 100,000 coastal guards , 1.7 million u.s soldiers and a militia estimated of 200-300 million people depending on how loyal
My grandparents on my father's side were born in Hungary. Once, I told a girlfriend that I was descended from the Huns, and that I wanted to invade her southern regions.
10.Austraulia 9.Switzerland 8.Tuvalu,Iceland,Buhtan & New Zealand 7. Japan 6.Iran 5.Canada 4.Demacratic Republic of North Korea 3.United Kingdom 2.Russian Federation 1.United States of America
1. USA - Invaded by Japan in WW2 (Aleutian Islands of Alaska taken) and invaded by British Canada in the War of 1812 (Burnt down the White House). If you want to be technical we also invaded ourselves in the 1860s. 2. Russia - Invaded by Germany 1941, Japan 1938, Allied intervention of 1918, Germany/Austro-Hungary 1915, Japan 1904, UK and France 1854, France 1812, Sweden 1707, and Poland-Lithuania 1609......I can keep going but I'm losing interest. 3. UK - Got a point here, probably deserves Number 3 because historically the Normans were the last to invade. (Unless you count Barbary pirates in west England in 1625) In 1066 Normans invaded and took over England completely. Only UK colonies/territories have been invaded not the country itself. 4. N Korea - Korea didn't become 2 separate countries until after WW2 so N Korea has only ever been invaded by USA and S Korea in the Korean War. 5. Canada - Invaded by USA in War of 1812. That's it. 6. Iran - Invaded by Iraq in 1980 and UK/Soviets in 1941. 7. Japan - Number 1 for sure. Has never been invaded unless going back to ancient history possibly. Like the UK, only Japanese controlled territories have been invaded just not the country itself. Not counting bombing runs b/c no boots on soil means no invasion. 8. Tuvalu, Iceland, Bhutan, New Zealand - The UK invaded Iceland in 1940 (Look up Operation Fork). The UK "invaded" New Zealand in the mid 1800s just small skirmishes though. The UK invaded Bhutan in 1772. Tuvalu was a UK colony until 1978 so it hasn't been a country long enough to be invaded yet. The UK invades everybody apparently. 9. Switzerland - Completely overrun by France in 1798. 10. Australia - Should be number 2. Only invaded by bullfrogs in 1995. The Australians called them Chazwazzas.
@@Zeus11Nova13 I did mention the Norman invasion of the UK (Normans were Vikings it literally translates to the North Men). Didn't mention Iceland because it is not on his list. And the Vikings landing in North America was before the formation of the United States.
Damn straight. We also have a bunch of veterans who would love nothing more than being turned loose on American soil and able to write their own ROE. Then there is the issue being surrounded by two oceans. Putting boots on American soil would require nothing short of a logistical miracle. Any invading force would have to first overcome that, only to be ground down before they even made it a mile inland in some places. They wouldn't be able to get across the Cascades, Appalachians and the Sierras. They would likely not even get TO the Rockies, let alone through them. If they had any sense, they just go around the Deep South.
When the British came there wasn't any India. It was Hindustan and different territories were ruled by different kings of different religion and speaking different languages. They were always at war with each other. It was easy for the British to invade, plain old "Divide and Conquer". They couldn't have done it by force, No chance. Just see what happened to Alexander (Even though he won over King Porus, his force was no longer able to fight on and invade India).
You forgot to mention street gangs ect.! If you happen to defeat the American Military (which isn't likely), then you have to deal with The Crips, The Bloods, The Hells Angels, religious cults, the KKK, The National Riffle Association, Sarah Palins fan club & Chuck Norris (saving the most dangerous for last), just to name a few!
You forgot the heat from Florida and the spiders with some snakes alligators crocodiles bull sharks and some other sharks poisonous fishes is some coral reefs that will probably do some damage and we have a lot of guns and a crackhead that will probably be will throw something at your head with some birds that will poop on your Shield until you can't see anymore
@@alexiscambridge4492 The OP is, at best, being facetious. The Irish Defence Forces are just what the title says. Therefore its equipment is skewed towards being a reactive military force. One thing that cannot be denied is its participation in UN operations having been in Lebanon, Congo, and Chad amongst many others over the past 60 years goes well beyond other much larger countries and their armed forces.
Mohamed Hussain Rasheed Actually the US gets along just fine with the Saudis. We even defend their oil reserves so militant forces can't take them. This is where the Petro Dollar came from.
Clean energy is freedom! That way no more oil, no more air and water pollution, no more spills, no more dealing with Camel Jockeys.. Clean energy is the real deal!! Way better than oil! Oil sucks. It is 19th century technology..
I respect all religions but actually Islam and the Koran are actally older than the bible and Christianity I think. And if you would read both books, Christianity is way crualer and more evil than the Islam.
Walter Anderson no country would ever come into our mainland unless they wanted to bomb us... they know most Americans are armed or at least that there is as many guns in America as there is Americans.
@CandT Perfect hahaha you get that it's an invasion right? Let's think this through..... Where might those nukes land? There's patriotic and then there is idiotic.
The U.S didn't try to conquer Afghanistan you idiot. They were there to wipe out the Taliban regime and that is what they accomplished. And then they had to deal with Radical Islamic Terrorists who were once supported by the Taliban regime aka Al queada, and the reason the war has not ended its not because we lost its because the cowards hide behind there civilians and are Impossible to tell apart. So we must remain as a ready and able force to dwindle these Terrorists !
The US military with the help of the Northern Alliance removed the Taliban government in Afghanistan and in a few year there was democratic elections and that government is still standing today. If the ISI in Pakistan would have stopped helping al Qaeda and the Taliban everything would be better in Afghanistan. The USA does not invade and hold like the Soviets and others. With the exception of Vietnam, they fight, fix the infrastructure, then leave.
to be fair, half the U.S. military spending is on waste, like $30 meal rations, and officers are the best paid in the world. Please dont confuse defense spending with military spending.
And it's in dollars. So yes, US budget is absolutely misleading to some extent. Non-western countries have lower price levels. Russia is a great example, its current military budget in dollars is massively undervalued due to ruble's devaluation, and because they don't import weapons, the dollar value doesn't matter at all... + As I said, their price levels were lower to begin with. Countries like China and India are the same. The US certainly has the highest defence spending, but they're not THAT dominant, especially China would be reasonably close, atleast 40-50% of America's budget.
Mynthon the dollar value doesnt matter how many carriers does the us have and how many does russia have? how many jets does us have compared to russia how many ships does us have compared to russia. how many allies does us have compared to russia?? many more things come in to play.
Of course it matters. The value of the ruble was cut in half but did it affect Russia's military modernization? No. The end. Because they don't import weapons. Do you realize that Russia is a land power, it's in Eurasia, so it doesn't need many carriers? Sure, it could use a few more, but that's it. The point is: the US military is not 10 times stronger than Russia (or heck, 15 times, by the current exchange rate). Maybe 4-5 times overall, and even then Russia has many geographical advantages if there's a conflict close to its own borders. As a land power, Russia's also has a massive IADS and the US doesn't, you don't need another carrier to sink a carrier if the carrier is close to enough to your shores. Again, other countries are the same, China in particular. You can go chest thumping somewhere else, that's not what I was trying to do. You have to understand that countries do not and they should not emulate the US military and its structure. As it was mentioned in the video: the US is kind of an island, they need a huge number of carriers and other power projection assets. Even the Soviet Union only had a few light carriers! They didn't need them.
what do you mean japan decided not to invade australia, they bombed one of our main cities, and tried to invade via papau new guinea, they almost did until we fought them off, with britian denying help.
L3monaid Well it was less us fighting them off and more the Japanese supply lines becoming vastly overstretched. I AIF forces in New Guinea did help slow down and exhaust the Japanese but the main reason the Japanese didn't launch a land invasion was because their supply lines were overstretched and invading mainland Australia would have overstretched it further. But that's not to say they wouldn't have at least attempted to had we left it unchecked and let them take port moresby.
clearly nobody here has read tomorrow when the war began, I know its fictional but its actually not a bad representation of what could happen if we were caught off guard and invaded by a nation with a large army
I've been searching for it on the internet for an hour which is also where I read it, I believe on wikipedia originally but the story goes that around ten Japanese soldiers were ordered to take a small boat and land on Australia to do some recon on the area, I guess to spot landing sites and they ran into police or citizens with firearms, I can't remember which but I know it wasn't Australian soldiers and a firefight broke out with all then Japanese soldiers getting killed and I believe the Aussies lost no one. I will try to find it for you.
A total non-factor? They don't seem to be slowing the Australians down any. Snakes and spiders, even stupidly venomous ones, are very easy to handle. You wear thick leather boots their fangs can't pierce and step on them.
It's actually easy to invade if you know what you were doing. Napoleon fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book, and Hitler also didn't prepare enough.
+mPky1 the US didn't chicken out, it believes in people's freedom. That is why it could have easily invaded any country it wanted at the end of WW2 since it had already developed operational nukes and no other nation did at that time.
Iceland was invaded by the allies in WWII because of it's strategic importance to fighting the German navy. There were no casualties. Only standoffs with local police.
If I remember the Wikipedia page correctly, Iceland became an independent republic in the 1930's before the war from Norway (It could be Denmark, I don't recall). The allies invaded Iceland in 1940 even though Iceland was a neutral country.
In reality even though the USA may have more guns it's a misconception that most Americans own guns. Its seems that every adult in Switzerland has in there possession a military weapon.
and the US can switch on there manufacturing might and produce more weapons (Guns,Tanks,Ships,Ammo,Bombs,ETC.) in no time (look what happened after Pearl Harbor)
+Kurts On This True. I've lived here in West Virginia my whole life and a real gun has never existed inside my house before that I'm aware of and that's saying something. WV is a super hillbilly state. Everyone hunts, mines coal and loves guns here.
We got a lot of guns and haven’t been able to use them in combat on US soil for over a century. We’re getting restless, hence why we seem to get involved in everything. No one wants to come over and play, so we go to their house. Last couple decades in a nutshell.
@mPky1 ww1 was 100% not worth the US getting involved that was a European issue caused by many stupid European treaties. Also the US had no reason to get involved in world war 2 until it was absolutely necessary seeing as the US and UK still had a shaky relationship.
Storm Lead lol. Do you really consider an all put Indo-China war at this point??? India ain't someone who attacks while China ain't Pakistan who'd make a dumb move like that.
Storm Lead u mean to say that any of the countries barring US and Russia have enough nukes?? Lol. Doesn't matter if you have 200 or 300, as long as you have atleast 100 to hold your own or have more then 6000 to rival those big 2. I wonder how many of the countries on this list had 6k+ nukes...........
For some reason, quite a few countries mentioned on this list are actually quite easy to invade but no one has a reason to. This isn't "Top 10 Countries No One Wants to Invade," you know.
+Anthony Thomas The Bering strait is just a few miles wide, and the Russians already built longer bridges. There are already plans to build this bridge.
+Auto Tuna, I know right you are bang on correct sir, now that a tunnel exists from U.K to France it would be possible to drive from sunny Wales, U.K to America, how cool would that be although granted it would be one hell of a road trip lol.
The Vikings invaded England successfully as well. They were crowned Kings of the conquered land and ruled over England. And before that the Romans had invaded and conquered Britain.
You should read about Cnut The Great to gain a better understanding of how the Vikings (Danes) came to rule England. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cnut_the_Great#Conquest_of_England
Technically the usa hasn't been to war since WW2. We might have sent troops to foreign land such as Vietnam, Korea, and the middle east (under the presidents command) but only congress could declare war (not the president). Last time congress declared war was WW2.
Iran has been attacked many many times since 2500 years ago and was conquered many times but all invaders either vanished or digested in the country's culture and identity leaving Iran and China the only countries that still exist under the same name and identity for several millennia.
@Scott Whatever Mongols slaughtered city after city sometimes not leaving a living being (including animals). 75 to 90 percent of population were killed estimated from 10 millions to 15 millions. Just google "mongol mass killing of Iranians". Even Mongols got pushed out or got assimilated absorbed in the society.
U.S. has no chance of taking over Iran. The biggest problem is no country in the Middle East would let us use their land as a staging point for air bases and ground troops. Not even Israel would do so. Which would require everything to be done by sea, and even worse going through the straights of Hormuz (though the Southern part of the country can be accessed without going through the straights). We would have no staging point in the area. The nearest base is Diego Garcia which is not large enough to stage an invading force, not to mention the distance from the U.S. Our only hope would be to nuke the country to oblivion. Which isn't much of a solution.
Ofcourse I have. Big difference between a Nimitz Class Aircraft carrier and a Helicopter carrier or what we have LHA LSD,s. They claimed Navies had Aircraft carriers, when they really have helicopter, amphibious assault ships. Most did not have jump ramps to accommodate VSTOL aircraft. The Aussie "carriers" where LSD type who could only accommodate helicopters. Used primarily to support amphibious operations. Now Nimitz class carries are capable of launching fast moving Aircraft, i.e. F18s, F-35, and other support jets. They also have helos to conduct ASW and SAR operations. So they are not the same. Since you commented you thought the same. See I did a 5 second search and found out the class of the so called carriers.
jc3akapreppykid Its because they can be invaded by multiple countries and are easy to invade. it would be a long fought battle because of their population but other than that not hard
Qi Zhang yea I would've thought given their fortified man made islands in the Pacific, they also have very diverse geography with deserts and snow mountains to the north, dense forrest and rugged terrain. given the largest population and industry, could easily arm every capable citizen. true the have many enemies around them but I'm sure most would rather not give excuse for China to invade them. they are more likely to react in china's favor out fear.
They were invaded by the Mongol Empire, and the Japanese at Manchuria and then Russia against Japan in the same region in 1945. But they have many borders so could be invaded but yes you could be looking at a nuclear retaliation.
Major Sampson how tho. I mean u would have to be bonkers to invade it, as it would destroy the world economy, but other than that if a country like the US were to invade the only opposition would be Russia, most likely. But invading the US would be impossible. Just look at what the video has to say.
Actually, it is not. Take you now... Being threatened by North Korea. I would say, if Russia and China allied the US wouldn't take that. Impossible no. It won't happen but say you piss off every country in the world, you'd be attacked and you wouldn't take that blow. Again hugely unlikely but lets face it far from impossible. And I did watch it, to see if France was on there. Thankfully it was not. And the video said main land. Using the Japanese General was poor after it destroyed 1/2 of it's Navy. Mainland, because it wouldn't be hard for China, or Russia to take Hawaii or Alaska. They are part of your 50 states.
Your videos are always interesting and the level of detail meets or exceeds all other ‘list’ channels. I, for one, appreciate your willingness to cover topics that are fluff along with topics, such as this one, that have weight and relevance. Thanks for your ongoing consistency.
The cost of invading Switzerland would be a lot more than the profit. The whole place is wired with explosives. All the bridges, railroads, it would be a costly invasion for what gain?
Switzerland : we got guns USA: hold my beer Canada: we got guns USA we got your six NK: We got Subs USA: old subs lol Russia : we have tanks USA: broken tanks
Iran? I recall the same thing being said of Hussein and Iraq, with Iraq being the fourth largest Army is the world at the time. And North Korea; "to no avail?" So, we're not counting the fact that they were -- literally -- pushed out of the peninsula . . . until 200,000 Chinese crossed the border? It is casually mentioned that Japan and Canada make this list -- in part -- because of their relationship with the U.S., and the same applies to North Korea . . . China. North Korea, itself, presents no problem. But the simple reason is the one most presented . . . there's not reason for anyone to invade the nations in question. Why wasn't China on this list? Did I miss it?
+ThatDutchguy Neither does Iran. There is no agreement for either nation to militarily defend Iran. As for me -- FYI -- I'm not interested in the U.S. being obliged to defend anyone. Time to "update" some treaties.
Don't compare Iran and Iraq, Iran is larger and much advanced they have thousands of rockets targeting US bases and many armed groups scattered in neighbouring countries and all they have to do is blow up a ship in the strait of Hormuz to make the global economy collapse but most importantly they are united as one the only reason why the US defeated Iraq easily was because they were divided between Sunnis,Shiites,Kurds etc. The CIA supported some group to cause chaos before the invasion so the most important thing for a country is to be united and persistent in a war no matter how strong the enemy is.
u cant really say iraq was a victory unless if america really wanted a 10 year + war turn iraq into a almost failed state and hand influence to iran if usa wanted that then u have a victory if not then u have a loss , so iran would destroy the usa no matter how much bigger american military is since usa could not even win in iraq
+Craig h It took the U.S. 100 days to defeat Saddam and his Army, the rest is what Democrats call "nation building." And that's something most Americans wanted nothing to do with.
Yes, we Canadians have the West Edmonton mall with four fully functional submarines for the kids to play in. The Canadian navy also has 4 fully functional submarines for the kids to play in. LOL
Todd Shemilt dude, it's just a fact. The United States could LITERALLY keep the entire world out of the country if the entire world forces wen head to head against the United States. Whether you like that or not doesn't really matter. We have he biggest military (including tech and manpower combined). We have the most advanced military technology over everyone besides our allies, who we share SOME of our technology with. Not to mention, due to the United States a good amount of the top militaries in the world are rated where they are. We have the highest military power the world has ever seen, and we continue to advance it in every way we can to stay decades ahead of every enemy we have today. We are untouchable, unless someone wanted to kick off a nuclear war, which nobody wins. Wait, America and Japan just conducted the first successful intercept of a ballistic missile in operations near Hawaii very recently. So we might soon even be invulnerable to that. Do you really think his ego is big now? Or are you ready to admit his statement is completely accurate. because I pretty much said what he said, I just included all the why's and how's, which any sensible person wouldn't need to understand how powerful our military is. And because of that, this makes our country untouchable to anyone who would do foolishly launch an invasion here. And if somehow, our military failed😂 good luck getting past the 150 million registered gun owners in the United States. Oh and we have millions more with unregistered weapons. But sure, his ego is just too big.
zeropoint going down because we have gun laws? 😂 pretty sure that's a good thing, look at all the school shootings and armed robberies that happen in the US. Plus migrants are migrating all over the world, so with that logic you're saying that almost every country is going down hill
Zhang Yulun false buddy.. Japan's system back then was like 6 representatives.. And when they came to the decision after they were miles twice to keep fighting it was split dead center. 3 said yes 3 said no. The emperor said no and broke the tie.... And the US didn't have any more nukes..It would take months maybe longer to make another and in that time The US wouldn't of put troops on Japan knowing radiation is active. But those Russians would have lol and Japan wouldn't be what it was today lmfao
And that’s why predators choose to shoot schools up and not police stations, armories, and armed security. People are smart enough to know what will happen if you attack someone who is able to defend themselves. And you can see what happens when someone confronts seemed resistance. They almost always commit suicide or try to run away.
Chinese and Soviet backed N Korea invaded first. N Korea has 20 something million people. Have you played RISK? They don't have enough troop reinforcements to get here.
Dear, even if the uploader didn't mention these countries because he mentioned the countries according to the evidences but these are for sure NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO INVADE. Most of the country which you mentioned are IMPOSSIBLE TO CONQUER.
scotterbean 12 I'm pretty sure they surrendered before they could be conquered though. And anyway, Britain has been invaded multiple times (or at least the countries that it is comprised of, having invaded each other at different points in history) yet is in 3rd on the list, and other countries on the list have also been invaded (Canada, Australia, USA etc) and are still on the list.
weenad 2003 I mean, let's do a reality check and ask ourselves, wtf in their right minds would even try and invade Britian, U.S., or Canada, for that matter lol?
The world at large may have forgotten that the Peace-keeping forces back during the Korean War was not only fighting the North Koreans. They were also fighting the Chinese as well! Any of you who don't believe me, Google it.
The US is massive and is surrounded by oceans and you would have to beat a massive navy ajustvto invade the mainland and then fight people and the actual military. So it's not easy to invade. Secondly Russia is massive and even if you try to invade from the east, Russia will do what it has always done and just move into Siberia until the enemy freezes to death or starves to death trying to chase after them. Do you remember what I said about the US? And about Russia? Apply both to Australia. A country that is essentially in the middle of nowhere but yet still huge… give up because most of Australia is desert anyway, Its has several dozens of poisonous spiders, and if strategic locations were relocated there… could you really win? Would you even try? Its the devils playground literally.
Kolbe Maddox No not the Winter killed our enemies, it was our moral and spirit that kept our nation alive against several invaders (for example the siege of Leningrad ). We killed more Nazis (80% of the Wehrmacht) then we're killed by the allies the whole war just in 1 Battle (Stalingrad ).
I may have been a bit harsh but you have to admit, with all the terrorism that Iran has financed over the past 40 years, calling them a strong stability factor is a bit much.
DKhisa ...and I wouldn't make the claim that the USA is a strong stability factor in the middle east. btw The USA didn't finance the Taliban. We provided resources to our gulf allies who in turn financed the Taliban in a war started by the Soviets. Iran finances terrorist groups with the specific intention of causing political change through violent chaos...the very opposite of a "stability factor".
I wouldnt consider Canada a "week" neighbor, yes their military is small compared to the u.s. However they have some of the best trained soldiers in the world and have a access to the latest and greatest technology. Winston Churchhill even said himself, "If i could have the british officiers, the american technology and the Canadian soldiers, i could rule the world". All im saying is that Canada shouldnt be considered "week" (im american and proud af btw)
Well, Canada has a weak invasion force, but can defend itself. If invaded by a greater power, the army could resort to guerrilla warfare. Then, it would be hard to get rid of them without nuclear weapons.
Let’s not forget, if someone invades Canada or the US, the other is joining in. Even as a Canadian citizen, if a country was landing on America coasts, I’m crossing that border and fighting with them. I’ve also grown up 10 minutes from Can/US border.
actually to correct you on that we have not been at war for the last 25 years. in fact we have seen some sort of military conflict almost every year of our existence. so more like we've been fighting a war since we first came into existence
I think there has been a total of 6 years since the US gained independence that it has not been involved in conflict. Whats the difference between the US and a pint of Guiness? If you leave a pint of guiness in the sun for 300 years it grows a culture
the fact that Bhutan, Tuvalu and New Zealand are on the list, but countries like China, France, Brazil, Turkey and India are not makes the this list completely useless.

The Swiss are the actual army of the Pope.
@@HansLennros-ry5izNo, they're not. There is the 135 member Swiss Guard. They are paid by the Vatican to guard the pope. It is the only Swiss military presence outside of Switzerland.
Logical Lion
It depends, the liberals and their anti-gun laws with the conservatives being pro second amendment.
gangs are hardly comparable to soldiers in conventional warfare. gangs can hide in the population while soldiers cant so they are not the same
Logical Lion if a country was powerful enough to beat the army of the US (which is the superior one in our time )it would have no trouble beating it's populace.Technology today makes guerilla warfare nearly impossible.it could even level an entire city
Did you forget? America has that technology too. We probably have equipment that negates the effects of heat seeking devices. Not to mention that most likely the technology the enemies are using were developed in the USA.
Angela Engle I was talking about a scenario where the army fails and you wouldn't have that kind of technology without an army

China literally save NK in the Korean War. If they hadn't intervened, we'd only have 1 korea
Joshua Bonner and they didn’t even make the list! Somehow I think a country with a population of a couple billion and modern technology would not be one to invade.
The west literally saved SK in the Korean war. If they hadn't intervened, there would be only Korea.
Its actually the other way round
NK crossed the line and ignited the war, which started well for the North since US military had a relatively small amount of troops and equipment there, once they got there they took back a lot of land, Chinese involvement stopped them from rolling over the rest of the North. China saved the North
They were already two Korea even before Korean war.

If you invade one of the superpowers, there's sure to be a domino effect like in WW1
or just a bunch of nuke killing almost all life on this planet
I will bare this advice in mind before i make any move.

Multinational corporations preclude that. War is too expensive now.

First Cynic thank you, I was looking for this comment, all of those aircraft carrier numbers were out of wack.
(if the Japanese ships get F-35s, I'll agree that they are then carriers)
As your article notes, putting aircraft on the assault ships impedes it's primary mission.
First Cynic dude wow

If they had any sense, they just go around the Deep South.

to be fair, half the U.S. military spending is on waste, like $30 meal rations, and officers are the best paid in the world.
You can't really say it's on waste when they police a lot of the western world
shysterrtube heh; EU can say bye bye to US protection soon. Enjoy.
what do you mean japan decided not to invade australia, they bombed one of our main cities, and tried to invade via papau new guinea, they almost did until we fought them off, with britian denying help.

Wasn't it Danish, and the Danes capitulated, so the allies invaded Iceland?
111smd we dont have factories anymore
+Kurts On This True. I've lived here in West Virginia my whole life and a real gun has never existed inside my house before that I'm aware of and that's saying something. WV is a super hillbilly state. Everyone hunts, mines coal and loves guns here.
Please consult office hours before invading.
Most people in the US dont go around saying they're a gun owner in case something happens their attacker would be caught off guard.
We got a lot of guns and haven’t been able to use them in combat on US soil for over a century. We’re getting restless, hence why we seem to get involved in everything. No one wants to come over and play, so we go to their house. Last couple decades in a nutshell.
An interesting point of view.
@mPky1 ww1 was 100% not worth the US getting involved that was a European issue caused by many stupid European treaties. Also the US had no reason to get involved in world war 2 until it was absolutely necessary seeing as the US and UK still had a shaky relationship.
USA be like "Impossible to invade? Hold my beer."
USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA
Just patriotism my dude
Austin Lael Murica!!!
Cobra Commander woop woop
Thumbobby that's sadly true. Too bad more people cant see it like me and you do. I'm guessing you aren't American?

CommieGamer 1945
Y33 Commies! ✊
CommieGamer 1945 Same
Just realized it wasnt. Thats a big fail on this canals side. Chinas above Russia for sure.
CommieGamer 1945 are you a communist?
Two reasons not attack Scotland one we have easy access to all of the UK's nuclear weapons two we are absolute berserk
I didn't even know Scotland existed anymore.
In my country, we use to say:
"Invade the Scots, come back home whithe bagpipes and an axe in your brain"
And:
"Answer a year later, so no one cares"
No India and China in the list???? Lol
Storm Lead yeah right.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Storm Lead don't think i'll be able to stop laughing anytime soon.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You got great humour sense.😂
Storm Lead lol. Do you really consider an all put Indo-China war at this point???
India ain't someone who attacks while China ain't Pakistan who'd make a dumb move like that.
Storm Lead u mean to say that any of the countries barring US and Russia have enough nukes?? Lol. Doesn't matter if you have 200 or 300, as long as you have atleast 100 to hold your own or have more then 6000 to rival those big 2. I wonder how many of the countries on this list had 6k+ nukes...........
Devil Hex I agree. The smell in India will kill the soldiers as soon as they land.
Literally any war from 1950s-present day: *exists*
US: *cowabunga it is*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For some reason, quite a few countries mentioned on this list are actually quite easy to invade but no one has a reason to. This isn't "Top 10 Countries No One Wants to Invade," you know.
Yep, more guns than people, and needs to stay that way. A gun behind every blade of grass is an excellent deterrent to would be invaders.
Good thing trump had a bromance with Vladimir Putin, we can be allies
One of the pro's of Trump being President is he wants to build bridges with Russia.
Build bridges with Russia? Given how close Alaska is to Russia that could be possible....Still want to?
Friendly Player "allies" doubt that....
+Anthony Thomas
The Bering strait is just a few miles wide, and the Russians already built longer bridges. There are already plans to build this bridge.
+Auto Tuna, I know right you are bang on correct sir, now that a tunnel exists from U.K to France it would be possible to drive from sunny Wales, U.K to America, how cool would that be although granted it would be one hell of a road trip lol.
Switzerland doesn’t have an army; Switzerland IS an army.
The Vikings invaded England successfully as well. They were crowned Kings of the conquered land and ruled over England. And before that the Romans had invaded and conquered Britain.
Tawakalna incorrect. The Vikings did not control all of England let alone the entire British Isles.
The video already mentioned the Norman invasions
Tawakalna wrong they only controlled the north and east anglia
Tawakalna this was before 1066 thogh
You should read about Cnut The Great to gain a better understanding of how the Vikings (Danes) came to rule England. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cnut_the_Great#Conquest_of_England
guarded by two friendly countries and an ass load of fish. bring it.
Technically the usa hasn't been to war since WW2. We might have sent troops to foreign land such as Vietnam, Korea, and the middle east (under the presidents command) but only congress could declare war (not the president). Last time congress declared war was WW2.
Miguel Duque
Technically speaking, yes!
Vietnam
Miguel Duque tell that to Iraq :/
SzalonaCytryna I believe the term is slaughter? I'm going to go with slaughter.
Not a declared war, just an intervention of military forces to assist the South Vietnamese. Like he said, we've not been at war for over 60 years.
This video in 2017: Iran #6
The U.S. in 2019: BET
Iran has been attacked many many times since 2500 years ago and was conquered many times but all invaders either vanished or digested in the country's culture and identity leaving Iran and China the only countries that still exist under the same name and identity for several millennia.
@@saeidhn so does india
Stop listing helicopter carriers as carriers. They are not the same. You are being disengenious. Do some research.
Sean Smith Clearly You Haven't Heard Of The Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier
Sean Smith helicopters are aircraft
Americas aircraft carriers carry both helicopters and fighter jets so......
You guys are all idiots. All aircraft carriers are the same then. I just want to bang my head against the wall.
This guy has a very strange definition of the word impossible........."could be done easily but why bother"
how is China not on the list. Maybe not top 5 but definitely 10th lol
jc3akapreppykid Its because they can be invaded by multiple countries and are easy to invade. it would be a long fought battle because of their population but other than that not hard
what??? not hard??? excuse me???
in terms of tanks? fighter jets? vessels? missiles?
Qi Zhang yea I would've thought given their fortified man made islands in the Pacific, they also have very diverse geography with deserts and snow mountains to the north, dense forrest and rugged terrain. given the largest population and industry, could easily arm every capable citizen. true the have many enemies around them but I'm sure most would rather not give excuse for China to invade them. they are more likely to react in china's favor out fear.
They were invaded by the Mongol Empire, and the Japanese at Manchuria and then Russia against Japan in the same region in 1945.
But they have many borders so could be invaded but yes you could be looking at a nuclear retaliation.
our air frog can kill the anyone who dares to invade our land,hahahah.....
I'll save you 20 minutes...
America is #1
But America is not a country.
Thought as much, always is. In reality however China.
Major Sampson how tho. I mean u would have to be bonkers to invade it, as it would destroy the world economy, but other than that if a country like the US were to invade the only opposition would be Russia, most likely. But invading the US would be impossible. Just look at what the video has to say.
Major Sampson naw m8
They are part of your 50 states.
ok that means India can be invade, try your luck....
Mahesh Bodhe pretty sure no one would want India
k33nstr ikr
Great Britain did!?
Mahesh Bodhe no one needs to invade India they got dirty Resrooms 😂😂😂😂😂😂😜
I guess you can say,
try your Lucknow
ok I'll go die
Your videos are always interesting and the level of detail meets or exceeds all other ‘list’ channels. I, for one, appreciate your willingness to cover topics that are fluff along with topics, such as this one, that have weight and relevance.
Thanks for your ongoing consistency.
In regards to the U.S. - "Keeps conflicts away from their borders by generating them somewhere else." 😂😂
We don't like bullies
Yeah that is why Roosevelt attacked in ww2, to don't have fights in usa
Mother Russia can invade anyone
Nothing's impossible in mother russia
Ty Duncan Except USA while trump has the nuke codes
Except that someone already "invaded" mother Russia.. That is how it became a "mother"..😜😜
Haha, nope, can it invade India, China, Japan, Europe or the US? I dont think so...
Does mother Russia want to try the US, I don't think so, the Russia s wouldn't be able to leave their ports before they got sunk
Switzerland wouldn't be invaded because other nations respect its neutrality....
Fermain Jackson no. Other people keep their money there. Neutrality during hitlers run would have been devastating to all including Switzerland
The cost of invading Switzerland would be a lot more than the profit. The whole place is wired with explosives. All the bridges, railroads, it would be a costly invasion for what gain?
John a yes, you're right. A lot of people or government keep their money there. That's why they all respect Switzerland....
I know that I'm biased as a service member in the US military, but I REALLY like this video!
I have to object to the "Impossible" in the title. "Too expensive" or "simply not worth the effort" would be more like it.
Silkendrum "With little justification" works too.
=impossible.
Iran's army is "battle hardened"? Against whom?
everybody that has invaded the middle east in the past like 15 to 20 years i guess
Silkendrum against unarmed civilians lol
Silkendrum against every terrorist organization created armed and funded by those who would love to tap on those precious oil.
Silkendrum terrorist and iraq
Silkendrum kurds
USA! It's not even July and I feel patriotic anytime I see USA is number one...On a positive note lol
Mister Inevitable Not many things for you to be patriotic for these days.
Mister Inevitable Eww Race-Mixing

Mister Inevitable It is
Switzerland : we got guns
USA: hold my beer
Canada: we got guns USA we got your six
NK: We got Subs
USA: old subs lol
Russia : we have tanks
USA: broken tanks
If Iraq is so gay, how did they invade Iran and took 8 years to end the war?
what about China??! They have a freaking big population. If you give the half of the population guns they can still do hell of a damage
McFreak9 no china is communist they wouldn't do that lol
Same is with INDIA
CaterMcMan china has more money to spend then the USA.... do your researches before you say something
Jason Kubor *you seem to know
china out of date?and a lot of more powerful countries?name 3 of them plz
Our knives can indeed do everything thank you
Yes, we Canadians have the West Edmonton mall with four fully functional submarines for the kids to play in. The Canadian navy also has 4 fully functional submarines for the kids to play in. LOL
USA is always all the way at the top.
Pro Gamer 586 wow, your ego is big huh?
+Todd Shermilt 1. You have no idea what country Pro Gamer is from. You only assume America. 2. Is he wrong?
+Lee Aldred How is the UK already there? If anything it's going down for them, refugees trying to take over, most weapons banned, ect
zeropoint going down because we have gun laws? 😂 pretty sure that's a good thing, look at all the school shootings and armed robberies that happen in the US. Plus migrants are migrating all over the world, so with that logic you're saying that almost every country is going down hill
10-Australia
9-Switzerland
8-Tuvalu, New Zealand, Iceland & Bhutan
7-Japan
6-Iran
5-Canada
4-North Korea
3-United Kingdom
2-Russia
1-USA
remember how Japan surrendered during WW2 because they don't have the balls to take the third nuke
Zhang Yulun funny thing is, the third nuke didn't exist😂😂
Zhang Yulun Russia invading the north
Zhang Yulun false buddy.. Japan's system back then was like 6 representatives.. And when they came to the decision after they were miles twice to keep fighting it was split dead center. 3 said yes 3 said no. The emperor said no and broke the tie.... And the US didn't have any more nukes..It would take months maybe longer to make another and in that time The US wouldn't of put troops on Japan knowing radiation is active. But those Russians would have lol and Japan wouldn't be what it was today lmfao
Zhang Yulun no one would.
Only 112 guns per 100 people? Those are rookie numbers! We need to get those numbers up!
They are higher in schools.
And that’s why predators choose to shoot schools up and not police stations, armories, and armed security. People are smart enough to know what will happen if you attack someone who is able to defend themselves. And you can see what happens when someone confronts seemed resistance. They almost always commit suicide or try to run away.
Those numbers only represent the registered guns. They can't count the guns that the don't know about.
Australia got owned by rabbits.
So true
Daplin1 and emu''a. Funniest war of all time and absolutely true
Rabbits will own us all if you give those horny bastards half a chance!!!
Rabbits, Emus and Cane toads they are Australia's 2nd biggest enemies but mostly can toads
yep and the desserts in australia became land for kangaroos
check your history....N korea did the initial invading in the Korean war.
Chinese and Soviet backed N Korea invaded first. N Korea has 20 something million people. Have you played RISK? They don't have enough troop reinforcements to get here.
the north did invade the south england was one of the u.n. forces
What about China, India, Brazil, Germany, Turkey?
Dear, even if the uploader didn't mention these countries because he mentioned the countries according to the evidences but these are for sure NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO INVADE. Most of the country which you mentioned are IMPOSSIBLE TO CONQUER.
Filip Makedonski Germany had been successfully invaded, so take that off your list
scotterbean 12 I'm pretty sure they surrendered before they could be conquered though. And anyway, Britain has been invaded multiple times (or at least the countries that it is comprised of, having invaded each other at different points in history) yet is in 3rd on the list, and other countries on the list have also been invaded (Canada, Australia, USA etc) and are still on the list.
weenad 2003 I'm pretty sure he's talking about at current time....not the past.
weenad 2003 I mean, let's do a reality check and ask ourselves, wtf in their right minds would even try and invade Britian, U.S., or Canada, for that matter lol?
Not to mention, the climate in the USA is unpredictable
Kolbe Maddox No not the Winter killed our enemies, it was our moral and spirit that kept our nation alive against several invaders (for example the siege of Leningrad ). We killed more Nazis (80% of the Wehrmacht) then we're killed by the allies the whole war just in 1 Battle (Stalingrad ).
Kolbe Maddox Do Australians have the infrastructure to just move into the middle of the country?
The ausises will retreat into Serbia too?
Japan manage to attack Pearl Harbor, so it is possible to invade USA if having more strength and more army than the Japanese in WW2
Iran is a strong stability factor in the region!! You just lost all credibility.
I may have been a bit harsh but you have to admit, with all the terrorism that Iran has financed over the past 40 years, calling them a strong stability factor is a bit much.
DKhisa ...and I wouldn't make the claim that the USA is a strong
stability factor in the middle east. btw The USA didn't finance the
Taliban. We provided resources to our gulf allies who in turn financed
the Taliban in a war started by the Soviets. Iran finances terrorist
groups with the specific intention of causing political change through
violent chaos...the very opposite of a "stability factor".
Just to educate you a bit, 40 Years ago Iran was a Monarchy and #1 ally of U.S in Middle East !
Jeff Sam excuse me...38 years....feel better, nitpicker.
Credibility? Just look at your face lol.
Best and safest cities to live in,

- Singapore City
- Toronto
- Montreal
- Hong Kong
- Prince Edward Islands
Are you talking about Prince Edward island(s) in Canada or south Africa?
TopTenz: These countries would be impossible to invade!
Also TopTenz: These countries would be super easy to invade, but there's no point.
Huh?
GREAT VIDEO MY MAN.....THE US LOVES YOU
We will always take care of our hat, Canada. After all, we have to get TimBits and Poutine from somewhere! You can keep the snowbirds, though. Really.
All im saying is that Canada shouldnt be considered "week"
(im american and proud af btw)
Weak* but kinda true
Well, Canada has a weak invasion force, but can defend itself. If invaded by a greater power, the army could resort to guerrilla warfare. Then, it would be hard to get rid of them without nuclear weapons.
Let’s not forget, if someone invades Canada or the US, the other is joining in. Even as a Canadian citizen, if a country was landing on America coasts, I’m crossing that border and fighting with them. I’ve also grown up 10 minutes from Can/US border.
"Australia: Aircraft carriers 2"? We don't have any carriers. We had one years ago, but gave it up ages ago.
You forgot Alien country 👽 #1
actually to correct you on that we have not been at war for the last 25 years. in fact we have seen some sort of military conflict almost every year of our existence. so more like we've been fighting a war since we first came into existence
I think there has been a total of 6 years since the US gained independence that it has not been involved in conflict.
Whats the difference between the US and a pint of Guiness? If you leave a pint of guiness in the sun for 300 years it grows a culture
