Absolutely. She has won two more Grammys than Barbra Streisand. She is a national treasure and still doing it at 70 years old and still sounds AMAZING!

Twins, Now go back and listen to the song TWICE without pausing it. Listen to the arrangement and be blown away even more. There is such good stuff out there for you to discover.
What makes this song so affecting is that it stays in the middle place. It's understated. It doesn't hit a lot of highs. The driving cadence of the music, with Chaka's complementary phrasing, fully conveys the feeling of being passionately, emotionally merged, intertwined with someone. This song IS passion. It doesn't need to do a lot. In music, when it's done well, less is more.
Exactly, when music was a listening experience only-. the way it should be! Couldn’t sell a song with choreography, video, nasty lyrics, or personal scandal. Back when folks actually studied, played, and sang Music. We had the attention-spans to put on a pair of headphones and listen to an album from beginning to end, imagine that, Kids of today!

I agree 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I feel the same way.
Not underrated by Q. He features her in a lot of stuff and it always works. Stuff like that.
Agree!
Absolutely. She has won two more Grammys than Barbra Streisand. She is a national treasure and still doing it at 70 years old and still sounds AMAZING!
Listen to Chaka's "I'm Every Woman" Through The Fire" & "I Feel For You"
Love Chaka!!!
Yall need to listen to more Chaka Khan
that song is EXHILARATING
dancing this song is healing. her vocals go right through you.
I saw her in concert November of last year. She's amazing. No autotune. Tell Me Something Good and I'm Every Woman by her are two of my favs.
Hell, I'm Every Woman is so Fire, Whitney covered it for the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack and made the video while pregnant ( Chaka, TLC, I think Gladys Knight - wall to wall Black Female Legends making cameos in that one)
Someone once asked me if I had to listen to the same song every morning for the rest of my life, what would it be?
My answer: “Ain’t Nobody”, Chaka Khan ⚡️❤️⚡️
Me Too
This is my ultimate favorite song. If it comes on and I'm in the bathroom I guarantee you I'll be dancing. If it comes on in the church I'll be dancing down the aisle. If it comes on in the mall I'll be dancing in the mall. Can't help it.
Chaka rocks!
Dudes... Chaka singing Tell Me Something Good
will knock you, rock you, and bring you to your knees. Jolene x 2 and I am not lying.
Tell Me Something Good has to be listened to more than once, though, to get the full gist! 🤔😉😊
Back in the day before auto tune, she sang with her whole heart and hit every note. Range, depth, beautiful.
Face215 I agree with you everyone listened no matter who you were & nothing else mattered but the great feeling you got listening to a fantastically groovy soul uplifting song. Youngsters just won't know what their parents had back then miss those days
Love Chaka Khan! Higher love duet with Steve Winwood is another great example of how powerful Chaka’s voice is. Truly an all time great.
The woman has an incredible voice, and she changed 80s music. She's amazing!
Chaka still a queen of funk and soul
Ain’t nobody was released on 4 November 1983. It’s 37 years old and still great !!!!
This gets played at every cookout, old school party everywhere
This can’t be true these boys never heard of none of these legends SMH where did they come from they are about 20 years old or more
Ikr?
Yes, indeed!
@@bellestarr4040 I know! Stunned that these two fools don't know who Chaka Khan is!
@@bellestarr4040 Did they get to Kool & the Gang yet?
Chaka Khan is a Diva! She is awesome!! She has a bit of Tina Turner vibe.
This is an old skool classic from the 80s breakdance era. We were vibing to this big time back then.
Yes, 80s classic
Ch-Ch-Ch--Khan... love her!
Loved to roller skate to this song back in the day...
The first time I heard Chaka Khan I was about your age and she and her band, Rufus, had their first big hit - Tell Me Something Good. You really should react to that. I think you'd like it.
PLEASE
Written by Stevie Wonder
@@TheDivayenta I didn't know that. Thanks.
And she was HOT. She is still beautiful.
@@TheDivayenta really go Stevie
My most favourite song in the 80’s! Remember it from the movie “Breakdance”.
Awesome jam😎
Going clubbing in my early 20s in the 80s! When Chaka songs would be played we ran to the dance floor! Such fun dance music! Plus an inspirational woman.
Oh My G..
Memories Pops Up...
I had the same Experience. aswell..
My ppl always run to the DF.
Dancing and Singing our Lungs out.
When ever the DJ Hit this Song..‼️
What a Great Time... 👌🏽..
❤️✌🏽 The Netherlands..
I would have rather been young and clubbing in the 80s than now. No comparison.
We shut the clubs down dancing to Chaka Khan sweet memories of real music.
Sweet Thing by Chaka Khan is AMAZING! A must
Twins, Now go back and listen to the song TWICE without pausing it. Listen to the arrangement and be blown away even more. There is such good stuff out there for you to discover.
Agreed. Listen to it all the way through and the sound and the bass way the f****** hell up. 😊✌️❤️🎶🎵
The chorus gives me goosebumps every time... Out of this world!
Yes, yaaasss! Absolutely!!! This lady absolutely brings the house down, but absolutely there's a lot more out there!
Excellent advice!
Love Chaka!!! You have to play her other song “Through the fire”!!! It’s pure FIRE!
This. Is. My. Jam. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Chaka Khan Forever. Totally different vibe on the dance floor too!
Long time ago, in the olden days...there was RADIO. We listened to her everyday. Everywhere! Wouldn't trade my youth for NUTHIN🎶🎶👏👏👏👏💃💃💃💃
Me either🤘.....the best of times❤
Right on! Power to the golden/olden days✊😷🎆🎇
Amen
True l agree 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I love you guys. You’re faces at certain moments that we all know is coming but you’re reactions are so honest and wonderful. You gotta listen “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka AND Whitney! Do em back to back. ❤️❤️❤️
Exactly
Yes! I always think to myself, “ooooh, wait till they hear this part” and then I LOVE seeing their reaction!
I know right.I love thre reactions.Ask your Mama about Chaka Khan
I could watch the two of you react to the artist/music all day!!! You are the best!!! so glad you enjoyed!!! You have mad respect!!!
Hey twins, glad you discovered Chaka Khan. As a mid sixties white man from Nebraska, I knew & loved Chaka Khan starting in the ‘70s. She’s incredible. Also all the other R&B goddesses of that era. Minnie Riperton, Etta James, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle..... enjoy
Listened everywhere...parties, in the living room, in your bedroom chillin', driving down the road, hanging outside with the neighbors...all the way live!!
Exactly didn't have 2 be anywhere special. The radio and ur living room was enough lol. 👍
