Fantastic tutorial Cliff.
If it helps newbys it's job done Adam 👍🙂
Nice work Cliff.
Thanks 👍
Another of your master classes!
I like using coloured tissue, it avoids the painting ;)
I never seem to find the right grain of the tissue and I need to pay a lot of attention to the side of the tissue I use. I never really know which is the right one.
I also noticed the algorithm also likes tissue videos. I still struggle very much with this part of the process, so it might be a good reason to make a more detailed video.
Coloured tissue is the way to go Andrew, the grain runs the length of the tissue if you can't tell, it doesn't matter which side of the tissue you use really especially if you finish with a matt lacquer. Practice makes perfect 👍
I really have to try building one and try using tissue never did it but looks fun. Thanks for the video 👍👍
It is fun, you really should have have a go 🤔👍
is it just me or has the tablecam part of the video been sped up? it seems to run a bit faster then realtime.
Well spotted Elnufo 👍
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes as a modeler i have an eye for the details 😂
Nice job Cliff, who do you get your tissue from please?
Five sheets for £4.50 www.dbsportandscale.com/lightweight-tissue-covering-paper-8631-p.asp 👍
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes thanks Cliff
I have to ask. How do you make working elevators and rudder on these planes? What do you use for the hinge?
Hi George, it's easier to adjust the flight pattern if the Rudder and elevator are capable of moving. So what I do is I hinge the control surface with fine fishing line pushed into a pinhole each side and I make one hinge out of beaten flat Earth wire from an electrical cable which makes it very thin and if you grip it tightly you're able to make small adjustments without breaking the structure
The secrets of the master. Thank you so very much. George Geyer.
