Goes without saying JD that you’re awesome and I’ve been a long time fan. But specifically I just wanna say you’re such an interesting player, there’s something magical happening when you play. You’re an inspiration to me. Thank you.
Fletcher came in 2018 to my home Cyrpus ( small island below Turkey) and had the chance to see him live.amd exchange a few words. He is an amazing musician, song writer , performer and I wish him.from my heart to fully recover soon and be back on stage.
Glad to see you back on RUclips! So sorry to hear about Kirk. He is a wonderful musician and seems like a great human being. I always enjoy watching and listening to him. Sending positive vibes his way for a full recovery.
Oh no I hope Kurt is doing better. You, Kurt, and Philip Sayce are my favorite current guitar players. Can’t wait for the new material from Kurt and you. Hope you are doing well and wish you all nothing but the best!
I have no idea what its like to see something like that happen to a friend right next to you.. all i can say is, between the two of you, there's enough love to pull a couple of guys through it all. Lotsa love to the both of you from some of us out here!
So glad to see you back at this. I don't know how you keep it all going man. Your a busy cat. I'm so sorry to hear about Kirk. He is definitely one of the best human beings on the planet. Tell him we are thinking of him up and and hoping to see him back at it soon!
Diggin your slide work and warming us up with your stories and dialog. Just like being live in the studio as its happening. Yer a deep well brother...best wishes to kirk. Thanks for your show!!!
A favorite Sharrock track for me is "Who Does She Hope To Be?" It is on the Ask The Ages Album. Great album. - Love to see you back here. Also happy you've been able to get out and play and work again.
On the JFK topic, I recently got semi-back into baseball cards, and I bought a box of these cards that not only have athletes, but musicians, actors, historical events and figures. I pulled some cool musician cards…Hendrix, Willie, Hank Sr., and THEN my gf opened a pack with a Jack Ruby card that was a “relic card”, meaning it was embedded with a piece of memorabilia. Long story short, we own a piece of Jack Ruby’s suit, but embedded onto a trading card. 🤣
Please pass on my best wishes to Kirk, hope he makes a full recovery. A super nice guy, he won't remember me but he was gracious enough to talk for 5 minutes after his gig in The Duke, Whitstable UK several years ago. Hope to see him again in the future, as I do yourself JD, always try to catch your shows in London when you are in town.
Yeah! What’s the Peavey amp? When I was a kid, I used a borrowed Peavey Audition 20…had a cool “Saturation” button that I swear nailed Elliott Randall’s “Reelin’ In the Years” tone. This was when I was 12 and playing Black Sabbath covers in my very first bands…now it’s vintage like me!😂 Good vibes for Kirk! Both my wife’s sisters had major strokes and I was there for both of them…it can be a very hard road and I hope his recovery is speedy and easy!
Those solid state peaveys from the 70s and 80s are imbued with some kinda magic that makes them better than they should be, nobody makes discreet solid states on that level anymore, it's all modellers now

Joe was my guitar student!!
Curious to hear what Kirk's record sounds like, big fan of the King roster. Is it too early for there to be any audio samples online yet?
Are the pickups on these super-cheap Teiscos also 'Gold Foils'? ruclips.net/video/SUhHT0HmGac/видео.html
