- Hi everyone! If you're new to our channel, we're from the Lone Star State and we love our Texas BBQ. Texas Monthly is a magazine that's shares everything and anything about Texas from the people, to events, and of course GREAT FOOD! Every 4 years they issue an edition of featuring the TOP 50 BBQ JOINTS IN TEXAS. Talk about a fun job for the writers/editors of that edition. In today's video we are checking the #1 SPOT IN TEXAS. It's a place just southwest of FORT WORTH and it's called GOLDEE'S BBQ. A set of friends who have a love for BBQ and had experience working in other BBQ spots across the state decided to come together and create their own spot. Aloha Wendell!! We’ve had a few requests to feature some Texas BBQ spots so it was fun to share what we’ve got here at home. The beef rib was AMAZINGLY and if you get a chance…you’re belly with thank you!! If you make a trip over here to Texas, let us know. We’ll take you to get it for sure!! For now definitely if in Kaka’ako check out one of our favorite BBQ spots that specializes in Texas BBQ - Sunset Texas BBQ. They do offer the beef brisket but in limited quantities. Aloha Misty!! We had you in mind the entire time we were filming this episode because we know how much you love BBQ. It was definitely an experience even for us checking out this spot!! We don’t use our Sony ZVE10 as much anymore for A roll. We use the Sony Alpha a7 IV. It’s definitely does a great job for colors and super crisp details especially in darker areas!! @@michellejosefoodandtravel It's all pretty good but our go to's are brisket (of course), pork ribs, pizza pepper sausage, a lil bit of turkey, and a sloppy juan. Sides- pop's beans, potato salad, and some cheese jalapeño hominy. They give you some flour tortillas and salsa to make tacos. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it.

Hi Rod and Gem! 👋🏽👋🏽 You are definitely correct it was a carnivore’s dream!! The food definitely won here hands down and we had leftovers to enjoy later for dinner. The beef rib and pork ribs were 👌🏽!! When we’re back on island together…we’ll have to try and take you both to one of our two favorite BBQ spots that we love that specialize in Texas BBQ!!
