i was hoping the track prep vid would show the camber plates being set to track mode and then getting it re-aligned which is whats killing your ties. id start with zero toe all around to save on tires then mess with them a little since it'll be faster on track.
Thanks so much for sharing. The one suggestion I will make is to have the stock brake fluid swapped to Castrol SRF. It makes a world of difference to pounding the brakes on track. The other cheap mod I did was to swap out the front brake deflectors (behind the front rotors) to the SS brake deflectors as they are massive and scoop massive amounts of air from under the car. I only use the SS brake deflectors for track days, on the street the stock ones are fine. The only issue with our cars is the rear toe settings will change after aggressively hitting those gators on track. My rear toe kept messing up because the stock toe arms washers keep rotating. The fix was getting the SPL toe arms with eccentric lockouts. This stopped my rear toe settings from changing on track. Highly recommended.
I didn't know that about the SS deflectors. Good info to know. I'm currently running brembo htc64t brake fluid, which is supposedly right up there as some of the best fluid for tracking. I guess I forgot to mention fluid in the video lol.
