Wonder Woman TV Series Goofs

- Let’s see how many goofs we can find that have remained mostly hidden for decades on the awesome classic tv series Wonder Woman that ran from 1977 to 79 and starred Lynda Carter and Lyle Waggoner. Let’s see if you noticed these mistakes already or will you wonder how you missed these goofs the first time around.
See Laugh-in's Henry Gibson lose his mask and regain it several times while sky diving. Wonder Woman's stops a tank or armored personnel carrier or does she? Look closely to see how stuntmen hid their safety mattresses, and find out how Lynda Carter did the special effect of bullets and bracelets onscreen using a handheld device. I also look at the episode goofs that guest-starred Rick Springfield the singer who sang, "Jessie's Girl".
Also, check out the objects in the background that disappeared after Diana Prince transformed into Wonder Woman. Laugh and be amazed at Wonder Woman's television series goofs, bloopers, mistakes, and interesting facts from the 1970's superhero TV show.

Henry Gibson isn't just missing a mask, he is missing the entire parachute pack!
Whoops! i definitely should have mentioned that. 😀
Yep! I noticed that, too!
@@tvcrazyman 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, I noticed the parachute BEFORE the mask.
When you're plummeting from an airplane, there IS such a thing as priorities.
Well, he was obviously in a hurry to confront Wonder Woman. Parachutes only slow you down.
A dog could walked into the scene and i would not have notice as a 13 year old. The perfect Wonder Woman.
When Linda Carter/Wonder Woman was in the frame, all kinds of flaws could be going on in the background - and no one would notice.
I know exactly where my eyes were.
you and Zillions of other people were the same way if there was a nuclear explosion in the background i would not even notice it myself
"Wonder Woman lands on a mattress....". On behalf of every boy in the 70's, "thank you, God!"
i was saying to myself: "She can land on my mattress any day"
Shame it was actually a stunt double. Might even have been a bloke.
"Wonder Woman" And "The Bionic Woman" were my childhood crushes.
Lynda Carter looked great in that costume.
After watching this video, I came to the conclusion that Wonder Woman is still Gorgeous.
I don’t believe anybody was looking at any goofs They were looking at Linda, Carter, and that wonderful outfit she had on what goofs
What Goofs everyone was looking at her Golden nuggets LOL as for the Goofs back in the good old days it would be very hard to spot a goof on a old CT TV or a old B/W TV
I remember my Dad talking about how beautiful Linda Carter was when we wathched this show back when I was only 5 or 6 years old. She was the epitome of gorgeous for both he and my uncle. When I see the show now I realize just how cheesy it all is, but one thing is still true: Linda Carter is always delightful to watch.
She was absolutely gorgeous.
@@MrBmic She still is.
@@peterlenham3180 100% agreed still Erotic Hot Looking
Her mom is Mexican. She got the best of both worlds.
@@aquarius5719 She refers herself as a woman of color.
It could have been wall-to-wall goofs, and no one would have cared. We all tuned in to watch Lynda, who BY THE WAY is still one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.
The editing back then is what makes these old shows so much fun.
All the blunders in the world for Wonder Woman still make it a superior product than anything Disney craps out today. BTW, I was too busy staring at certain "aspects" of Linda Carter to notice any goofs. Seems fine to me mate.
So were the other %99.9 of their viewers..."Linda Carter" #1. Nude search in the entire history of the internet...
Samehere, especially Linda Carter butt shot in front of the NON MOVING TANK😂😂😂😂
Amen to that
Some people have too much time on their hands so they look for goofs
Shame there's no wardrobe goofs
As a young teen watching WW I can assure you I was not looking at goofs
As a kid in junior high that would run home after 4 hours of football practise to catch Wonder Woman - I never saw a goof
All I have to say is Lynda Carter had some really amazing practical special effects. Just amazing.
Yeah, two in particular!
@@mikehunt4986😂😂
@@mikehunt4986 Her 2 golden nuggets LOL
She was awarded two Golden Globes
@@gc3k She already had two golden globes! lol
Back then when this show was first on most people didn't have a VCR (they existed but were very expensive at the beginning) so we couldn't review the show and see the goofs. Wouldn't have mattered anyway because we were too busy drooling over Linda Carter! And I have to say she is still as fine as can be at the age of 72!
If you were watching Wonder Woman and spotted all the goofs, then you were watching it for the wrong reason...I could never take my eyes off of Linda Carter 🥵
To be honest when I was a kid watching WonderWoman I only noticed Linda Carter. As Diana Prince or WW herself. A truly beautiful woman.
good work! i still can't get over the SHINE of Wonder Woman's Tights!!! to this day, i am addicted to the SHINE of Tights on Lovely Women, the 70's & 80's TV shows, movies, commercials, magazines, and even stage shows were crowded with Lovely Women dressing Their Legs in SHINY Hosiery!!!!! thanx, Linda Carter, Catherine Bach, Judy Landers, and many many more!!!!!
Good eye on catching these bloopers. The shoe string budget they had to make these shows and lack of CGI, I think they did a great job with the special effects and creating the illusions. Back then most of us didn't notice and look for them. It was all good fun.
With anyone other than Linda Carter, Wonder Woman wouldn't have been worth watching. Man she was so beautiful, hell she's still rockin today considering how old she is
I personally think that Lynda's beauty and sex appeal were the main reason the show lasted as long as it did. The shows writing and production values were pretty low end and the show seemed more like a Saturday morning kids show than a series superhero drama.
@@glennszydlowski5987 Totally agree
@@glennszydlowski5987it never looked like a saturday morning show to me. Theres obvious differences between Elektra Woman and Dyna Girl, Shazam, Isis with Wonder Woman in comparisson. Writing was mediocre I agree but Lynda's performance is iconic and the special effects are severely under appreciated. There were several records set by stunt women while doing Wonder Woman.
This show was so cheesy but classic stuff love it Lynda Carter was perfect as wonder woman
I recall that some critic back in the day said that the Wonder Woman show only had two things going for it, and they were both helping to hold up her costume.
Actually, Cathy Lee Crosby did it before Lynda Carter, but she wore a jogging outfit rather than the red, white, and blue "swimsuit".
Thanks for sharing @tyrssen1that information
You wouldn't really see the pack itself with the shot being so tightly cropped only from his shoulders up. But the shoulder straps were definitely missing.
4_40 "From this view of Lynda Carter..." And what a wonderful view it is!
My sentiments exactly!
This just makes me like the old wonder woman even more.😊
Goofs were shocking in this series. Every time she switches from flat boots to heels.
But nobody cares...we were all concentrating on the legs and top air bags. Glorious!!! ❤
Oh boy all I can say is Lynda Carter as wonder woman 😀
When I was a kid I sure did like to watch Wonder Woman, Charlie's Angels, and Bionic Woman.😀
@@tvcrazyman and Barbara Eden as Genie!
I like the fact you are pointing stuff out but not being negative about the series. It was a fun series to watch back in the day.
Every second of lynda Carter is epic. Completely mesmerized 😊😊
I remember when I was little they had a contest for people to spot the bloopers every week on wonder women and mail in their findings. The person who spotted all of them would win a prize. I'm wondering if any of these were from the contest. I think it lasted a month so it was for more than just one episode.
0:22 he's also missing a parachute backpack in those scenes! Probably not the best thing to forget when you're skydiving :P
You're absolutely right about some of these things being more obvious on big screen TVs. I have all 5 seasons of the original Twilight Zone series, from the early '60s. Some of the things I see on my large flat-screen TV wouldn't have been noticed on the old B&W TVs that had 13" screens. And continuity was less of an imperative in the days before VHS and other recording abilities. People watched that week's show, talked about it at work or school the next day, then forgot about it by the time the next episode aired.
I think they went as high as 17" or 19" while this was on the air. We'll never know if any of this would have been fixed if larger televisions had been available. Likewise, I wonder if Rush's 2112 anthem would have been 40+ minutes if the CD had hit the market 10 or so years earlier.
there were only two things on the screen everyone was looking at and hoping for a wardrobe malfunction that the censors missed LOL
You missed a goof in the very first parachuting scene where the actor is clearly not wearing a parachute.
That's funny! i definitely should have mentioned that.😀
@@tvcrazymanI honestly thought the parachute was what you were going to mention. I waited for a few seconds after you pointed out the mask, and you said nothing about the parachute. I came straight to the comments but I see a couple of people already mentioned it.
I thought the skydiving suit should be flapping from the wind....and his face.
@@tvcrazyman yes, it’s kind of like a double irony, you goof in a video about goofs!😂
Yeah, it shows you a goof or a blooper can strike at any time😀.@@malcolmwhite6588
Oh, wow, you can see them land on the mattress mirrored in the shiny silver toaster! LOL.
I love how the wind is missing during the free fall
You are really making me happy with your latest videos. My mom grew up watching Wonder Woman and introduced it to my sister and I via the dvd set. We watched them a million times when she was little and still love watching it together. So many memories.
Glad you like them! 😀
I always loved it when she would change into the swimsuit and run in flats on the beach and then magically have flippers on in the water!
I think the last point was spot on. It was harder to notice these goofs with the TV technology of the day. When the action is fast paced, you don't have time for scrutinizing the shadows and such.
Lynda Carter performed her on stunt in one helicopter scene as Wonder Woman.
I read about that. Apparently, the producers were upset by it though. They were afraid she'd get hurt from what I read.
@@tvcrazyman your right she did her own stunt with the Helicopter.....I heared the stunt person left for the day...thinking they were finished filming but they still had to do the helicopter scene........so Lynda Carter did her stunt and got major heat for it.. I do not blame them for being upset...she could have gotten hurt.....even stunt people can get hurt no matter how safe they are.
@@tvcrazyman thanks for shareing all the goofs.......the goofs are not noticeable because fans of the show are focused on Wonder Woman....at least the guys are.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Lynda Carter was my first Hollywood Crush.
I've been a fan of Wonder Woman since I was a kid. But seeing these bloopers is a hoot. I've watched these episodes so many times that I feel like I'm seeing them for the first time again. I love the commentary on the scenes. 😊
Thanks 😀
I forgot how enjoyable this show was. I also miss watching with my great-grandmother.
In the first parachute scene it's not only the mask missing the actor is also not actually wearing a parachute either.😂😂😂
Fun fact. When the model of the invisible plane was used, it is the Mego Wonder Woman doll
It looks like the Mego invisible plane too
It also looked like Henry Gibson had no parachute in the closeups.

This was nostalgic fun! Thanks for making this video. Made me subscribe! Great eye and work!
Awesome! Thank you!
As a young man at that age. You didn't watch it for its genius content. 😍
I'm rapidly approaching 60 and in all my years I've never seen a woman as beautiful as Lynda Carter was at her prime, she still is stunning today btw, the 70s and 80s were replete with gorgeous women such as Farrah Fawcett and Debbie Harry but there wasn't one that could hold a candle to Lynda.
Thank you for zooming in on Wonder Woman's costume bottoms (front & back)...
Goofs or not, Lynda Carter is a goddess!!!
We noticed all the wacky goofs. We were just kids and didn't care! lol
I'm not gonna lie. I just wanted to see the most beautiful women to walk the face of the earth
Lynda's body is measured as 37-27-37. Her chest size is 37 inches, 34C, 5'9', 125 lbs

If her chest size is 37 she wouldn't be a 34C, she would be a 37C but since measurements tend to be even numbers she would be either a 36 or 38 C.

I agree - tell that to Google & wiki lol
My favorite noticeable goof occurs in virtually every episode when Wonder Woman's gorgeous and sexy knee-high striped boots--worn by both Lynda and her frequent stunt double, Jeannie Epper--unexpectedly switch from high-heeled to flatfooted and back to high-heeled all over again, particularly in strenuous action scenes! And I enjoyed seeing both Lyle Waggoner and Cloris Leachman (or was that Carolyn Jones?) f**k up their lines!
All in all, I enjoyed the hell out of watching this video! Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work! Enjoy the remainder of your Hump Day!
Thank you very much!

How is anyone supposed to notice things disappearing around Lynda Carter when our eyes are glued to Lynda Carter?
I really enjoy these videos,They bring me way back to a really fun time of TV.Cheesy effects and story lines but so much fun.
Another thing about the German hand-grenade...the pin is still in the handle of the grenade. You could have played the drums with it and it wouldn't have gone boom.
Amazing, I never noticed any of these goofs. Why would I when Lynda Carter was in view :)
No only the mask but the green parachute too
Yeah, I used to watch Wonder Woman, but I never bothered looking for goofs!
face mask, chute, and that he is a tiny af person compared to the normal size skydiver haha
Wonder woman got me thru my first few years of puberty...🤗🤗
Henry Gibson also played the head Nazi in Blues Brothers... a classic film.
I hate Illinois Nazis....
on the skydiver, you missed the backpack lol
I know. I am definitely going to talk about the parachute the next time on my upcoming collection of 70's TV goofs.😀 I have to make up for my goof missing this goof.
I recently found some new goofs for Wonder Woman to add to ones I posted a few months back. I hope you all enjoy them.😀 Let me know if I've missed any.
Thank you very much! I always enjoy watching all of your videos on your channel! Keep 'em coming! Enjoy your Hump Day, bro!
Season 1 transformation (episode 3 or 4) she does a slow mo spin and finishes her spin.....with NO BRACELETS!! Ha!! Keep on spinning!!!!
I've watched these episodes 4-times over and never saw these errors.
In the 70's the show to watch hilariously was Charlie's Angels. The fun was spotting all the continuity errors which occurred in almost every other scene. A true accidental comedy.
As the parachute was already mentioned, I'll add that you could also the the mattress in the toaster's reflection at 4:20
Great eye! 😀
I never noticed any of these back then. Because I was 15 and she was Linda Carter. My eyes would not wander anywhere else.
Plus in goof 1 his skydiving parachute isn't on his back lol
@7:01 thx for the hint with the bracelets, that effect is still gr8 even today.
I'm new to your channel. This is so cool. Whoever would really pay close attention to the goofs. I grew up watching these movies.
Welcome to the channel!
@@tvcrazyman Thank you
You can also see that WW boots change in many episodes when she goes from walking/running to fighting or some other stunt. Suddenly her boots lose their heels and become flats. It's especially obvious in the episode where she ends up sword fighting with the villain who turns out to be a robot.
great video! thanks!
Not wearing a mask, he didn’t even have the parachute on!
Great video I love Linda Carter the best wonder woman of all!!!!
Memories. Enjoyed this
The Goofs are great BUT just seeing Wonder Women's Body is Better !
Honestly they could have a thousand goofs in the background and I wouldn't notice. I can't take my eyes off Linda Carter.
I guess you could be forgiven for not noticing the tracks moving (or not), when she's pushing the tank. I mean.... what tank?
Given Linda Carters natural beauty I doubt anyone was really focused on the story or production quality!
Lol great video. Thanks for putting it together.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Only one, orale that two reasons to watch this show.
Believe it or not, I actually sold a kids bike to Mrs Carter in Bethesda MD bicycle shop I worked at in '97. Actually delivered it to her house too! She is still beautiful.
Hey just discovered your channel. These are fun! I absolutely adore Lynda Carter and Wonder Woman! Did you see...in the first season when Diana does the original slow motion spin in her office at the War Department they forget to put her bracelets on...I think that happen in 3 scenes.
Cool. Thanks
I never watched this show. These goofs are so good I am now Hooked on this show.
I was 30 before I realized this show even had story lines.
There was water in that last clip? I saw nothing but an amazingly fitted swimsuit.
Older pre flat screen cathode ray televisions cropped the edge of the picture. This was called overscan. It meant that basically about an inch around all the edges of the picture simply wasn't shown by the TV. Old style television cameras actually had a line drawn on the screen to show the camera man the area that would be visible when the episode ran to air.
Of course the entire image was still captured to videotape or film or whatever. And these days when we're airing these old shows on 80" high definition televisions we are able to see for the first time 100% of the image with greater Clarity than even the people filming the show saw. That explains some of the bloopers that you see now where a person or a chair or a mattress is visible or disappears off of the edge of the screen.
It's interesting because today we effectively have a peek behind the "edge of the curtain" and can see the wizard pulling the strings.
- “The van is jacked-up in the back.”
What goofs I only saw Linda Carter!
You know, that's what everybody says.😀😀
Some great views in this one
Rick Springfield... Before he was Zac in Battlestar... As for the grenade, it could have skipped before the Squibb went off. What you did miss, the pin was still in the grenade.
Henry Gibson jumped onto the invisible plane of Wonder Woman.
He took off a mask and parachute after that.
Hes also missing the entire parachute rig lol
Another great video👍
Thanks! 😀
I love your attention to detail!!!!!!!!!!!! very entertaining.
Thank you so much!
The studio skydiver doesn't have any shoulder straps for a parachute on either.
About 90% of it was goofs, in some form. Hence the charm of the show.
never could figure this show out - so i never really watched it. it started out in the 40s and then all of a sudden they were in the 70s
Yeah, I wasn't really paying any attention to the tank or anything else in these video's. Except Lynda Carter.👍
