The stages in WRC 8 are fantastic and have they've done a great job of translating the differences of each surface to how they affect the handling of the cars.
WRC does not do that, unfortunately. And for good reason. It is more fun that way not knowing any dangerous incident that lurk in the corner. Uhh...in video game speaking of which that is.
1:14 left 4 D/C ! I'd have been on the roof there, (Not short cut, there's a brick wall there. There are so many terms in the notes I've never heard of,why don't the producers of games run it by people in the know before distribution. Shame really, it's good. Cockpit view every time, much more realistic, never seen anyone driving a car stood 10 feet behind it🤔. This a a great sample of the game Paragleiber, thanks. 👍
Snoopy Charlie Ive only ever been into more sim like rally like RBR and Dirt Rally and have never been into the WRC games but WRC8 is a total blast. It’s definitely enough of a sim and the stage design is amazing. If you’re a WRC fan then having all 14 rallies and current cars just makes it even better
I am not planning to do any others. I showed Turkey and Chile because they are completely new. The other countries were already in the previous games. :)
Visually, it doesn't look too bad. However, i do hold some caution when it comes to WRC Rally games as in the past, i have found the handling to be rather light, too light in fact. It always felt as if the car had hardly any weight to it. Has this changed in the later version or still the same? I found with say, Colin McRae Rally, the cars felt as if they had some weight to them, the handling was better. It wasn't perfect but much better than what i've found with WRC.

As a chilean boi who also was watching the Rally Chile, I have to say that they nailed the stages. Glad to see Chile in racing games! :D

There was a retired Hyundai on the side of the road but in the results all four Hyundais are finished :D

Wrc 8 is huuuuge step up from wrc 7. Physics, cars, career all are better. You can set settings to simulation or arcade.
They keep getting better with each iteration. This one is the best one yet. I'd say it's worth it.
If you haven't purchased it yet, definitely do so. It's tons of fun and hard to put down.

There are a few that take over 10 minutes and the longest distance is 21 km.
