You people have no idea how dangerous Balkan hooligans are. American police officers or any sort of hood gang members won't even last an hour in front of these groups. They are extremely trained, organised for war and fighting. And they come up with a large group of hooligans. This is not just a sport. This is war.
At every big match fans march together from a starting point to the stadium, chanting and supporting their team. If we talk about the fights a lot of leagues have a fight leaderboard where the hooligans or ultras make a match everytime their team play and they go on a field or forest and do a fight 30vs30 with gloves and whoever wins take 3 points for the fight leaderboard
fights dont happen all the time, those are more rare now, a lot change in security, much more surveilence and fines, also u cant go the the stadium for a period of time, i have a friend he had to check in at the police station of our city for 3 years everytime our club played, this after some jail time and a fine. but you do have very hostile games, not just in europe, that can break into a fight at any moment, but its more frequently outside the stadiums that during a match, but throwing the flairs, thats a commom thing. its almost 2 games in 1, 1 in the field and another in the stands ultras push for the team and for the other fans too, they travel with their own money to follow the team to diferent countries, they make the tifos (those huge "flags" that appear at the end of the video) a lot of them without any support from the club, they create songs for the team and each player, choreographies, they suport every genre of sports in the club, clubs in europe dont are just football clubs, my club have teams in 30 diferent sports. ultras live for the club but football is the one who gets more followers
That was funny cos you had no idea what was going on at all ha ha those protests were just fans arriving at the stadium, most of the fights are rival fans fighting for just that reason, and the police are trying to stop it so they get it as well, security can only do so much as you can see, and this is what support looks like, the reason it can get this violent is cos it's not just about football some of these rivalries go back many generations and involve politics and wars, and 10yrs? Ha ha this has been going on for decades, sport in America is tame as fuck it's family entertainment, in Europe it can be like all out war which is the only part you got correct really ha ha.
Football in Europe and South America is passion, football in the USA is business. Football is war by other means. Europe has been at war for centuries. No European Fußball fan is interested in US soccer. European football has existed for over 120 years, and here the fans don't decide the owner or any crap like that. The USA has never understood European football. US Soccer is nothing but very bad plagiarism. By the way, nobody in Europe says soccer, it's football.
