This deck is so fun. It's probably the first Liberator deck I'm looking forward to playing right from the start. For people who don't want to spend the money for Hexeblaumon, I recommend filling in either with bt18 AncientMegatheriummon or any good blue ace of your choice. I've been testing with Vikemon and Metalseadramon ace, and they both help with added removal.
@DIGI-PANDA Yeah, having a new ice-snow ace will go a long way, and with the recent announcement of Zephagamon and Heavymetaldramon aces, I feel optimistic we'll get something soon enough. In the meantime, I think the deck just needs some added removal/disruption other than the source strip.
@ArtDadDraws you can also use blitz Omnimon if you're willing to go off color. The deck can pull out some surprising aggression out of nowhere and with Omnimon you can OTK.
I feel like I want to run the lower half of this deck as Tommy Blue Hybrid and take those into the upper tier ice snow Skadi and Hexeblau because Tamer support as it stands right now is kind of thin. I ran Tommy Blue Hybrid a bunch in this meta and I feel like Skadi gives it a bit more of a robust endgame
I really wish the Ancientmegatherriummon actually played a blue tamer. But it only plays a level 4 or lower blue hybrid, mamml or ice-snow trait Digimon from the digivolution cards. Whack. XD
It's also a valid option for memory gain. The only reason why most people are probably not running it is because it does not have the ice-snow trait, meaning it's not searchable.
Did you consider just slot these cards into a yellow deck? Yukidarumon/Frigimon finally gives Yellow Vaccine a suitable out to protoform (imho a kind of toxic card). Also, the SA-1 inherits are absolutely great for Venusmon. Imagine a deck where Skadimon, Venusmon, and the new MarineAngemon were the top-end? (Yellow Vaccine tends to run 10-ish level 6s, so yes there is room for all three).
It's the high digivolution costs that make me hesitant on it. True, Patamon can cheat the digivolution, but the downside ultimately is nothing else can cheat it. I guess you could use multiple Yellow Scrambles for this. Great for cost reduction and recycling.
Hmmm I opted not to use Sourai because I feel like Hexeblaumon covers you on that route. They can't suspend with less source items so they'd be dependent on removal. Likewise Icewall feels dead if they can't remove the Hexeblaumon quick enough and then you've got Paladin Mode ACE to clean up the game.
I think it depends on what you want to do! Paladin Mode can be the aggressive OTK winner, especially if your opponent's board has been stunned and they have multiple Digimon in play, while Gabubond can bounce 2 targets.
@@greenhillmario Wanya is a game changer in Cendrill IMO. Sometimes you're just short of enough -DP to remove something and the egg helps a ton. It's also incredible for clearing out multiple small bodies when paired with promo Shoemon or ShoeShoemon inherits. Having an Arisa down is not a hard requirement to meet.
@ oh I know how insane the effect is, I’ve felt those moments when I’m short 2k to clear a level 5 ace target since I didn’t have the promos until recently. I see the argument between the two more as, if you’re playing correctly/not having your hand forced you’re trying to actively meet koko’s condition whereas wanya is more “if it happens it happens”. At least mathematically. You have more digimon than tamers regardless of how easy they are to put into play
Man I was hyped for this deck but it's just not good. Too many inefficiencies and weird effects to really feel strong. Skadimon is a weird card. Its effect has great potential, but even if you hit the free level 6 your only real options are Hexeblau or another Skadi, neither of which have on play effects, and a Hexeblau with no sources is hardly a brutal board stunner. It feels so bad to get the full extent of the effect and then choose to play a lower level digimon instead. Its removal is a pretty sharp double edged sword too, giving your opponent free security is always a bad idea, requiring the inherited Sec +1 to make up for it otherwise you're just running in place. Plus it has no built-in strip so you're relying on inherits and other Digimon for that which isn't ideal. PolarBearmon is actually really strong, but it's trapped in a weak archetype. I'm not sure why its inherit gives piercing, seems really weird to just shove into a blue/yellow deck that has no way to forcibly suspend things, in fact Hexeblau prohibits it so it really makes no sense. I'd much rather it give jamming, that way you can actually be aggressive and not have to worry about getting blown up in security while taking full advantage of the several in-archetype unsuspend effects. I actually replaced the entire level 3 line with jamming inherits and the deck felt much more aggressive. It also frees you from needing to run the awful Hiyarimon egg, I replaced it with Puyoyomon to compensate for the lost source strip inherits of the in-archetype level 3s. Also hot take, but I think Suzune is decent at best, at least for how I want to play the deck. Sora/Joe was much better as you just need to attack to strip and it makes your opponent hesitate to leave sourceless bodies on the board. This deck just feels like a slightly different flavor of Jellymon. It has similar effects, a bit of an easier time stripping, but the top end is questionable. It feels very delicate having no in-archetype access to jamming and no other forms of protection, attacking security never feels safe. I'll have to take a look at the blue hybrid variant because the pure build just isn't doing it for me.
Partially agree! I was chatting with East about Ice-Snow recently, and there's a particular list that just recently did well in their neck of the woods. I can't say too much because it's an up and coming video! I had made this video and theory crafted before discussing with him, and after seeing the deck profile over there, there are so many changes to make to it that's its not even funny. Overall, after looking at the list that did well over there, it cemented for me that the tamer isn't as useful. What hinges on most decks performing well, especially if they're tamer dependent is a way for you to play the tamer for free. That being said! I'm probably going to look into the hybrid build myself just to see if there's something I'm missing.
From my matches bt14 Joe, bt5 sora&joe, and ex8 suzune work together if you treat them as security bombs or are going for a defensive ramp build with hybrid but that's it

Unironically hyped for this deck. It'll be a pricy one to build, buuut once I'm back to work in a few months I'll probably build it.
Honestly, the only crappy part about the deck from what I can see is going to be Hexeblaumon and Paladin Mode ACE
@DIGI-PANDA yeah, I'll need to more Hexes which'll be like $60 minimum 😭 I might try to find a different level 7 top end just to bring cost down
