& i hate them so badly lmao! especially RustTyrannomon! now Tyrannomon deck has 4 promos cards in a row which is sux D: ! (Mametyramon/RustTyra ace/Tyranno X & new RustTyra)
@@DIGI-PANDA Promos can be a curse price wise but I think the bt-20 box toppers are a great way to introduce support that can be free to be basically as strong as the deck needs, for example the hina
It is definitely a deck that the opponents should think about to avoid a misplay. Funny about DS megaseadramon, is that the inherit is not limited to blue digimon. So it has a chance to be splashed in something else.
I did! But only because in looking at some of the lists on digimonmeta.com I couldn't find the lists that ran it. For the time being, I was going to shift to a box topper promo video at the end.
I have some high hopes for the Deep Savers stuff, though I'm not sure how I feel about them thus far. There appears to be multiplay ways to run a DS deck, so I guess we'll have to see if one way is much better than the other ways (and if that way is even good). Do you plan to do another deck build for DS after they are out and people have had more time to play around with them?
I plan to experiment with some decks but not all. Frankly, after EX8 drops it'll be time to start the Special Booster 2.5 Set Review videos because that'll be in February.
A lot of the new DS stuff aren't potential targets for Yao; none of the Lvl 3s, 2/4 of the Lvl 4s, 3/3 of the Lvl 5s (assuming "Aquabeast" counts), 1/4 of the Lvl 6s, and 1/1 of the Lvl 7s. So 7 out of 15 potential targets. And then only the Lvl 5s or lower can be tucked. That said, she's probably still the best tamer for it, as your big bois (MetalSeadra and Aegis) can both be targets. As well, the inherits given are still pretty good. With how important having at least 1 memory (or exactly 1 in some cases) is with a DS deck, you need a setter; I looked at other potential setters, and there isn't a lot of Blue Tamers for it.
Marinedivmon and Syakomon go in mollusk base Barbamon, playing bt15 Gesomon for free, scapegoating it, evoing into Barbamon and playing it again feels toxic lol
Because a majority of the cards can play out Seadramons, having one as a rush body might not also be bad - this means you could use the BT15 variant as another body and one that provides inheritable jamming.
I'm really digging the Metalseadramon ACE. My only wish was the Metalseadramon and Piedmon were also Dark Master trait. How great would that have been?
I played this deck quite a lot & never won ~_~! i used 2 builds one pure DS the other is exactly like yours except i used BT15 Rush Seadramon over the promo one as far i can tell DS is the weakest among the 3 family archetype imo, probably need a bit further support
Deep Savers is actually rather strong and fun. Not only being super aggressive, but also flood gates the opponents
Set up is super nice! I'm intrigued to see how the deck performs once EX8 drops.
And this morning we just got promos for 4 decks on ex8
Curiously, do players prefer decks to be buildable off of one set or do they prefer constantly support through sets with promos and more?

OH MY GOD. WE'VE GOT SOME THEORY CRAFTING TO DO.
I'm surprised you didn't mention promo coelmon for the deck, but I guess it makes sense since you built it pure blue.
Correct! If the promo debuted in the deck, I'd include it. Likely when I get to the end I'll cover box toppers.
subscribed because of the megaman music
Megaman X4 is arguably one of my childhood games that made love the franchise.

You forgot the promo Coalmon, it's a black digimon that days on play ir when digivolving one of your digimon can't have it's DP reduced or de-digivole

Yao is a great tamer for this deck. All the digimon released fall under the Aquatic trait
100% I'm going to tinker with a few things for that deck as well.

@elixer88 Aquabeast does count.
It has been 1,028 days since a Rasenmon was printed. 🦔
More than what LovelyAngemon got.
@pn2294 Yes I was really hoping we would get a set with all the re-arise digimon 🫡
One day. I promise you we'll see another.

@DIGI-PANDA would have been a nice detail, and also a good support for a pretty nerfed deck
Do i see ultimate fish mirrage deck?
Naaaah. Just Dog XD
Crabmon and the Seadramon line is actually there to buff normal fish, nothing to see here.

Most of the deck feels good as individual pieces in other decks too. Aegisdramon as a top boss.. is interesting but feels too slow right now still.
