Trish… I was thrilled when your video came up this morning!! I was in bed, doing my weekly infusions, before getting up, and suddenly you appeared and brightened my day!!! I want you know that, so many times I have wanted to DM you to wish you well, but I have tried very hard not to😬. I have thought about you so frequently, certainly every week or so, when I’m doing certain spinning, fleece and weaving things (that you have inspired me to do). I have even said to my husband that I miss you and this morning, when he came back from his run and I told him you were back, he absolutely beamed!! He knows how concerned I have been for you and how much you have inspired and motivated me, over the years. You know this already, but we (the whole family!) always call my handwoven dishcloths, ‘ Trishcloths’ because you started this whole obsession for me😂 Only last weekend I took my daughter and her partner a new batch for their new house. I don’t want to go OTT or to be inappropriate, but you are amazing and I’m so pleased to see you again😊

Sorry I missed the live, so excited to see you back!! We have been oppressively hot this summer. With the heat index yesterday and today, we were 115 😮. I have the air conditioner running and fans going, sigh. Oh my gosh, those little dresses are so cute! Look at all that fiber girl!! I’m working on a baby blanket for a friend. It looked like a nice texture knit and once I got into the pattern it would be a mindless knit, lol, it’s jinked, had to frog it once (totally my fault). Got back to the same place and forgot row one starts on the wrong side so tinked that row back, and now somewhere I’m a stitch short lol. Not giving up, not going to let it win, but I think I’m going to ask Heavenly Father to bless it for the recipient when I’m finished 😂😂.
Crocheting the very hungry caterpillar, way too many foods to ceo yet and spinning and weaving a wrap for my high school friend and her husband in Colorado. They always match😂
I’ve only recently found your channel . I’m a beginner spinner, I haven’t actually spun yet but am practicing with ready made yarn as I learnt from your beginners tutorial, on my Ashford Traveller . I was delighted to watch your Art yarn tutorial especially as you used the Ashford Traveller with the Jumbo flyer as that is my goal , I love Art yarn ❤️❤️❤️ Could I make a suggestion….. being a newbie there are a few so simple things you wouldn’t maybe think about that to us newbies isn’t obvious…we don’t know . For example I put the yarn on to the bobbin and suddenly thought I didn’t know how to get it off the bobbin and do I remove the flyer if so how ? What happens to the drive band ? What is worstead and all these words I hear like fractal, Corespun spinning and other terms , I haven’t a clue what they mean . I have found your videos the most helpful out of all I have seen . Keep them coming .
