I am Lucid's content is extremely thought provoking and his articulate delivery is spot on! It is troubling how much degenerate content also manages to end up on youtube without 18+/restrictive warnings. Society has crumbled and imploded from within. I am glad I have 'woken up' from it.

As a teen being raised by a Christian mom, the things my classmates wear is shocking (I’m in 8th grade). I would be ashamed if my future daughter dressed like some of these girls, and acted like these people, even the “alpha males” we say sleeping with a bunch of girls is fine but if a girl sleeps w a bunch of guys she’s shamed. They both should be ashamed, and the “alpha males” are being hypocrites too, and no one is modest anymore, it’s sad.

I suppose I'm more individualistic on this topic.
I grew up "dressing modestly" and I was pretty miserable. The person who made me dress modestly sexually abused me when I started reaching puberty. I'm not saying men who want the women in their lives to dress that way are all sexual predators, but the man in my personal life was. I think it was more of a control thing for him. Manipulative people prioritize control first and foremost.
These days I just dress how I want. Nothing too extreme, mostly gothic fashion. I shielded my body away because I was ashamed of being a woman and in a way, I mentally regressed for a number of years. I'm still confronting that my body is my own and that that's okay.
A lot of the attention and compliments I get is less from men and more from women anywho. Not that that really matters to me these days. I'd like to think I've come a long way when it comes to self expression. Also no, I'm not a 4th wave feminist. Just a girl doing her own thing.

I think a huge thing that gets left out of these modesty talks is educating people on sexual abuse. It seems like many of these pro-modesty people want to put the blame on the victims

Please, young people (young women in particular) know that your self worth will never come from auctioning your body off to the thoughtless gallery. Modest dress will allow people to appreciate you for the character attributes you possess rather than your body. Even those who get attention for their bodies know, deep down, that such superficial validation doesn’t make them happy. Quite to the contrary, it is an empty cup that needs constant refilling. If your self worth comes from others making comments on your body, this will be an ever-diminishing source of false validation, for your beauty inevitably fades with the passing years. As a music artist myself, it’s a shame hearing the foul and disgusting language used in the top songs. I was at a barber shop a few months back and this song started playing (amongst many like it) that was so explicit, I was about to throw up in my mouth.
