I'm 47yrs old and a very casual player. I bought this purely because it has my bike on it. I was playing the original Ride game before. The original is sooooo much easier than this version. I could play the original on hard settings and do OK. On this one I've got the settings all on mega-easy, and all I'm getting good at is pressing rewind!!!!! Looks good though, and I love the fact that I can race round Oulton Park!! I shall stick at it, but it's a very frustrating learning curve, especially after coming from the original version.
It is definitely a steep learning curve! Worth sticking at it though, as you get better it becomes a lot more fun (and rewarding)! Wait until you give an Endurance race a go and can't use the rewind button 😉
Racing games, both casual games and serious racing games have always been my favorite genre, I just saw a review of Ride 5 and after sadly learning its not available on the XBox One, I am really considering buying Ride 4, and this review is certainly helping sway me towards buying it. Thanks!
